SETUP
IMPORTANT: Not suitable for use with some
high-powered inductive motors as this may cause damage to the radio relay.
Pairing with handheld remote transmitters
The adaptor can pair with up to 6 dierent remote transmitters at any one time as it has a maximum of 6 memories.
NOTE: If the RF range between the transmitter and receiver is too great to achieve reliable operation, the LightwaveRF Connect SIGNAL BOOSTER may be used in conjunction with this product to increase the signal strength over greater distances.
Pairing using LEARNING MODE:
1. Ensure the adaptor is plugged in and ready with the wall socket turned on.
Page 3
2. On the adaptor, press and hold down the ‘MANUAL’ button; this will enter Learning mode illustrated by the LED ashing blue and amber alternately.
3. Using a LightwaveRF Connect Remote, press one of the ‘ON’ buttons; the LED on the adaptor will ash blue to conrm that the remote is now paired.
Page 4
NOTE: Learning Mode lasts for 6 seconds; if no signal is received from a remote handset during this time then the adaptor will automatically exit learning mode without pairing the device.
If, when expecting a blue LED ash to conrm pairing, an amber ash is received instead, then the adaptor memory is FULL and no further remotes may be paired with it unless one of the existing remotes is rst unpaired (see below).
