Abstract
This guide describes the functions provided by the GFS-2 switch, the installation procedure, and basic maintenance for the GFS-2. This guide is intended for a user with basic experience in installing storage and communication equipment and for network managers responsible for configuring the switches on the network.
Product Version
This is new guide.
Supported Releases
This guide supports the GFS-2. All software references support CLI O/S version 3.3.1A and SANman version 4.3.1 Build 1570 unless otherwise noted in a new release of this guide. For current software support please refer to the SANcastle SANman User Guide or the
SANcastle CLI User Guide.

Regulatory
This is a Class 1 Laser Product. This product has no outside plant connection.
WARNING - This product has mulptile power sources, please disconnect all power sources before servicing.
Elevated Operating Environment - If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating environ­ment of the rack may be greater than the room environment; therefore, use care not to exceed the rated max­imum ambient temperature of the unit.
Reduced Air Flow- Installation of hte Coastline 8100 in a rack should be such that the amount of air flow required for safe operation of the equiptment is not compromised.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1)This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
