2.3 Basic principles of the Light Rider Revolver
The Revolver uses multiple gyroscopes to create a balance system similar to the one used by the human body allowing for an instinctive and natural gliding motion.
For example, when walking forward, you will first lean forward and your feet will follow through with the action. With the Light Rider Revolver, when you lean forward,
you will move forward without taking a step. Likewise when you lean backwards
The Light Rider Revolver dynamically maintains balance by utilizing gyroscopes and accelerometers to note changes in the Revolvers position and utilizes a
servo-control system to make accurate adjustments.
Turning is achieved by leaning your right foot forward to turn left or turning your left foot forward to turn right. It is important to lean into the direction you wish
to go to keep your centre of gravity above the hoverboard.
Note that the Light Rider Revolver will self-balance, but every other movement is in response to your own movements.
