INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING LYTEJACKS FIXTURES
TO 8600 SYSTEM POWER JACKS.

NOTE: Use this Focal Jack with a 50 watt Power Jack.
1. Turn power off. Insert the top of the STEM (Fig. 1) fully into the POWER JACK RECEPTACLE. Verify engagement by exerting a LIGHT DOWNWARD pull. The STEM should not release from the POWER JACK.
2. To remove the fixture, grasp the STEM and FIRMLY pull DOWNWARD until STEM is disengaged from the SOCKET RECEPTACLE.
FIXTURES ARE DESIGNED FOR 360° HORIZONTAL ROTATION and 0° TO 90° VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT.

1. Check to see that power is OFF before Iamping or relamping.
2. Remove APERTURE BAFFLE from HOUSING by pulling straight out as shown in Fig. 2.
3. Assemble LAMP to APERTURE BAFFLE as shown in Fig. 3 making certain GLASS LAMP GUARD is
sandwiched between LAMP and APERTURE
BAFFLE, and firmly held in placce by LAMP
SPRINGS. CAUTION: Do not touch lamp capsule with bare fingers.
4. Connect SOCKET to LAMP by inserting pins on
LAMP into holes in SOCKET (Fig. 3). Replace APERTURE BAFFLE back into HOUSING
by
pushing straight in.
WARNING: LAMP MANUFACTURERS
REQUIRE THE GLASS LAMP GUARD BE IN PLACE BEFORE ENERGIZING LAM~ AND THAT GREAT CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN THAT LAMP IS FULLYCOOLED BEFORE RELAMPING. COLOR FILTERCAN BE USED
IN PLACE OF GLASS GUARD.

NOTE: LOW VOLTAGE FIXTURES should be
dimmed only with special dimmers intended specifically for that purpose. Use Lightolier Lytemode, Scenist, Crescendo VA, Neptune VA, Precision VAI, Easyset VA, Sunrise VA, Radiant VA or equivalent products by others or variable auto-transformers or electronic dimmers intended for use with low voltage fixtures.
NOTE: Lamp wattage 50W max.
