INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR
LOW VOLTAGE
REFLECTOR TRIM IN THE 1000LV FRAME-IN KIT

This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulation. To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations, check with your local electrical inspector before installation. To prevent electrical shock, turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding.

1. FRAME-IN (Fig. A) See Frame-In Kit Instruction Sheet for installation
procedure.
2. ROTATE ROTO-CLIPS (Fig. B) As shown in Fig. E.
3. SNAP.ON (Fig. C). Insert SOCKET through RECTANGLE HOLE on top
of REFLECTOR TRIM. Engage TAB from SOCKET CUP into one of the SLOTS on top of REFLECTOR TRIM and push other end of SOCKET CUP with
LANCING into the other SLOT (Fig. F),
4. PUSH-UP (Fig. D). – SOCKETCUP
Push REFLECTOR TRIM into ceiling until flange
is flueh to ceiling (Fig. D).

N~E Socket manufacturers have suggested that
socket may fail after 3 to 6 ralampings. If this occurs, socket can be replaced by disconnecting
male connectors (attached to socket leads) from female connectors (attached to fixture leads) and
replacing it with a new socket procured through Lightolier (Fig. G).

Remove LAMP RING from LAMPIYOKE HOLDER by pulling straight down (Fig. H).
insert LAMP (MR-16) between LAMP SPRINGS until

Attach SOCKET to hi-in prongs on LAMP (Fig. l).
7. Insert LAMP RING with LAMP and GLASS LAMP

GUARD attached back into LAMP/YOKE HOLDER (Fig. J).
WARNING: LAMP MANUFACTURERS REQUIRE THE
GLASS IAMP GUARD BE IN PLACE BEFORE ENERGIZING LAMP AND THAT GREAT CARE MUST BE TAKEN THAT LAMP IS FULLY COOLED BEFORE RELAMPING. AVOID FINGER MARKS WHEN HANDLING FOR THEY MAY CAUSE SHORT LAMP LIFE AND POSSIBLE BREAKAGE.

9. krserl a screwdriver into the LOCKING GUIDE on the LAMP/YOKE HOLDER, and locate the clot in the
VERTICAL ADJUST/LOCK SCREW, turn the SCREW counterclockwise, and using the screwdriver as a
lever, tilt the entwe UMPIYOKE HOLDER to the
desired angle. Once the desired angle ie reached, tighten screw by turning screwdriver clockwise.
HORIZONTAL ADJUST AND LOCK (Fig. J)
10. The entire IAMPIYOKE HOLDER can be horizontally
rotated to aim the an Ie of light as it leaves the hole in the APERTURE TRI (Fig. J). This can be done by backing off the HORIZONTAL ADJUST/LOCK SCREW one full turn, freeing the SUPPORT PLATE (Fig J). Grasping the YOKES on either side of the
LAMP/YOKE HOLDER, rotate the SUPPORT PUTE to the desired angle and lock the position by tightening the HORIZONTAL ADJUST/LOCK SCREW.
RELAMPING: The locking mechanisms designed within this fixture allow ralamping without having to readjust and relock. Follow Steps 5-8.
