Features

1. Lamp Operation: Operates the following lamp types: T8 linear fluorescent,

and T5 long compact fluorescent. See Lamp Operation and Performance

table for specific lamp per formance and operation.

2. Illumination: Provides 90 minutes of emergency illumination, and produces
a maximum of 3400 initial lamp lumens when used to power two or three
32W (4’) T8 fluorescent lamps, two or three 39W T4, or two 40 - 55W t4-4
pin long compact fluorescent lamps. Any non-emergency AC ballast used in
conjunction with the FPB33 MUST be an instant start, parallel output 2, 3, or
4 lamp regular or dimming type ballast.

3. Housing: Constructed of 20 gauge steel with a white high temperature pow­der coat paint finish. Slim housing allows for wireway channel mounting on
most recessed luminaires.

4. Electronics: 120/277 VAC dual voltage input with surge-protected, solid­state circuitry. Charging system is complete with AC indicator lamp and test

switch.

5. Battery: Maintenance free, sealed nickel cadmium battery has an estimated
service life of 10 years, and an operating temperature range of 32°F (0°C) to
131°F (55°C).

6. Input Power Requirements: 8 watts max.

7. Warranty: Electronics: 5 years; Bat ter y: 5 years

EX = Special Input Transformer for 220 VAC/50 Hz, 240 VAC/50Hz. Contact fac-

tory for other input voltages and frequencies.

Accessories

CCAPS = Wire bundle cover for mounting external to luminaire.

RTS = Single gang aluminum faceplate pre-drilled to accommodate remote

installation of test switch and pilot.
