Install a ULM-EZR module in the ceiling, positioning it 6 to 10 feet from windows and over a work surface (it must be within 10 ft of a luminaire). Using the low voltage plug-in 12' long CAT5 cables provided with the luminaires*, connect the luminaire and ULM-EZR module. An additional CAT5 cable will be provided with each luminaire* to plug in additional luminaires* as in a daisy chain. Up to 20 luminaires* can be connected to a single ULM-EZR module. ULM-EZR modules can be moved or added at any time merely by plugging or unplugging the CAT5 cables. Both ULM-EZR modules and fixtures have proprietary RJ45 dual receptacles for the CAT5 cable with RJ45 plugs.

footcandle reading. Adjust to desired footcandle level by rotating the sensor in the face of the ULM-EZR Module.
To get MORE light on desk from the luminaire, close aperture by rotating it counter-clockwise. The lamps will get brighter.
ULM-EZR module sensor placement guidelines: Before adjusting sensor settings, check to make sure they have been installed in accordance with the following guidelines: Sensor SHOULD be located
• Between 6-10’ away from window
• Over work surfaces Sensor should NOT be located
• Over very dark surfaces (e.g. dark carpet or furniture)
• Over highly reflective surfaces (e.g. polished floors or tables)
• Outside the daylit zone (typically beyond 15’ from window)
To get LESS light on desk from the luminaire, open aperture by rotating it clockwise. The lamps will dim down.
The sensors are factory pre-calibrated to 45fc on the horizontal, assuming standard reflectances (80/50/20), ceiling heights (8-10’) and work surfaces (2.5’). To return to the default setting, rotate the aperture until it ‘clicks’ back into place at the mid-point.
Ordering Guide:
