CAUTION: (RISK OF FIRE) DO NOT INSTALL INSULATION ABOVE NOR WITHIN 3 INCHES (76mm) OF ANY
CAUTION: USE ONLY ROUGH-IN SECTIONS PROVIDED BY LIGHTOLIER. USE OF OTHER MANUFACTURERS’ ROUGH-IN KITS

ADJUSTABLE ACCENT and LENSED WALLWASH TRIMS.
PART OF THE LUMINAIRE (LIGHTING FIXTURE)
Adjustable Accent Trim:
This trim is provided with a lampholder assembly, lamp
adjustment mechanism/sub-assembly and a lower reflector unit.
1. Separate LOWER REFLECTOR from SUB-ASSEMBLY. Set
LOWER REFLECTOR aside.
2. Feed SOCKET through lamp opening as shown. Install
SUB-ASSEMBLY into F.I.K. (in ceiling) by pushing through
ceiling opening until flush with ceiling.
3. ** To install MR16 Incandescent lamp, see LAMPING
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MR16 INCANDESCENT instructions
on page 2.
** To install HID MR16 please refer to the lamping
instructions that ship with the lampholder in the HID frame.
4. Lamp tilt angle is adjusted via screw marked “TILT”.
5. To adjust rotational position of lamp, loosen screw marked
“ROTATION”, and manually rotate lamp assembly until
desired position is reached. Tighten screw to lock.
6. Install LOWER REFLECTOR into SUB-ASSEMBLY until
flange is flush with ceiling.

Downlight Trim:
This trim is provided with a downlight sub-assembly, lampholder assembly,
and a lower reflector unit.
1. Separate LOWER REFLECTOR from SUB-ASSEMBLY. Set LOWER
REFLECTOR aside.
2. Feed SOCKET through lamp opening as shown above. Install SUBASSEMBLY into F.I.K. (in ceiling) by pushing through ceiling opening
until flush with ceiling.
3. ** To install MR16 Incandescent lamp, see LAMPING
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MR16 INCANDESCENT instructions on page 2.
** To install HID MR16 please refer to the lamping
instructions that ship with the lampholder in the HID frame.
4. Install LOWER REFLECTOR into SUB-ASSEMBLY until flange is flush
with ceiling.

Wallwash Finishing Sections:
HOUSING
TRIM
This Finishing Section is provided with a housing, a custom linear
spread lens, and a wallwasher trim unit
1. Separate TRIM from HOUSING. Set TRIM aside.
2. Install HOUSING into F.I.K. (in ceiling) by pushing through
ceiling opening until SPRING CLIPS are flush with ceiling.
See instructions on other side.
3. Install appropriate lamp as detailed below.
4. Install TRIM into HOUSING until flange is flush with ceiling.
TRIM must be oriented as shown in order to provide
maximum performance.

Typical Lampholder Assembly
(Supplied with Downlight and Adjustable Accent finishing
sections, along with (1) product-specific glass lens)
* To install HID MR16 please refer to the lamping instructions
that ship with the lampholder in the HID frame.
1. Install lamp into (3) springs as shown.
2. Up to (2) optional 2” accessories may be installed into this
type of lampholder. Refer to appropriate product
specification sheets for any accessory limitations, if any .
3. Connect lamp socket (in F.I.K.) to lamp pins.
4. Install into lamp opening in trim housing.

Wallwash Lamp Installation
* HID applications place ring that ships standard with wall wash trim, over lens as
illustrated above. Continue with steps 1-5.
1. Install lamp into (3) springs as shown.
2. Wallwash trims are supplied with (1) linear spread lens. DO NOT REMOVE this lens,
as it is critical for proper lamp seating and photometric performance.
3. (1) optional 2” accessory may be installed on top of this spread lens. HID applications
will NOT accept any accessories. Refer to appropriate product specification sheets
for any accessory limitations, if any.
4. Connect lamp socket (in F.I.K.) to lamp pins.
5. Install trim as shown elsewhere on this sheet.
