Features

1. Housing: Hydroformed aluminum, 0.04” (18 ga.). Removable for access to
J-Box and transformer.

2. Mounting Frame: Die-formed steel, 0.03” (22 ga.) galvanized steel.

Accommodates existing ceilings up to 2” thick.

3. Locking Clips: Quick-Lock clips provide ratcheting coarse adjustment for

ceiling thickness from 1/2” to 2” thick.

4. Fine Adjustment Screws: Provide pressure to clamp the ceiling material

for secure mounting.

5. Retaining Springs: Precision-tooled steel springs secure reflector trim to

housing for quick, tool-less installation.

6. Quick Electrical Connector: Keyed to accept plug from reflector trim.

7. Junction Box: 0.03” (22 ga.) galvanized steel. UL listed for 90°C supply

connection. Integral cable clamps permit attachment of #14 or #12 ga. non­metallic cable without tools or additional connectors.

8. Transformer: Electronic, 120V 60 Hz, primary, nominal 12V secondary,

short circuit and thermal protection, high power factor, THD<10%,
dimmable, FCC approved, quiet operation.

9. Thermal Protector: Meets NEC and UL requirements. Insulation must be

kept 3” away from fixture sides and wiring compartments and must not be
placed above fixture in a manner which will entrap heat.

10. Reflector Trim: Compatible reflector trims are listed above. See separate

reflector trim specification sheets for complete catalog numbers, finish,

and details.

Notes:

Vertical aiming for MR16 adjustable trims is 35° max. when used with
remodeler. Vertical aiming for AR70 adjustable trims is 25° max. when
used with remodeler.
