Features
1. Inner / Outer Housings: Inner Housing - Drawn, 0.036" (20 Gauge) steel.
Matte black finish. Housing minimizes air leakage to less than 2 CFM (Cubic
Feet per Minute) at 1.57 PSF (Pounds per Square Foot) (or 75 Pascals), which
complies with Model Energy Code and Washington State Energy Code and
reduces heat loss and condensation in ceiling. Outer Housing - Die-formed,
0.040" aluminum. Top cover removable for access to transformer. U.L. listed
for direct contact with thermal insulation.
2. Mounting Frame: Die-formed, 0.036" (20 Gauge) steel, matte black finish.
Four slots are positioned 90° apart to simplify alignment.
3. Retaining Springs: Steel springs secure reflector trim to mounting frame
for tool-less installation.
4. Mounting Bars: Galvanized steel, 0.059" (16 Gauge). Bars pivot for
attachment and wire-in below ceiling line. Pre-installed telescoping bars
extend to accommodate 16" to 24" on center joist spacing. Integral screws
for secure attachment to wood; at tach to T-bar ceilings without the need for
accessories.
5. Lampholder: Porcelain bi-pin socket. Pre-wired with Teflon leads.
6. Junction Box: 3-1/2" X 4" X 2-3/8" deep; 0.063 (14 Gauge) galvanized
steel. UL listed for maximum of (4) No. 12 AWG (American Wire Gauge) 90°
C through branch circuit conductors. Accessible from inside and outside
luminaire. Outside J-Box door is hinged for maximum access.
7. Thermal Protector: Meets NEC and UL requirements.
Electrical
Transformer: Replaceable from below; transformer door rotates into fixture,
positioning transformer directly over the aperture. Magnetic: 120V 60Hz. core
& coil. Electronic: 120V 50/60 Hz., regulated lamp voltage, HPF (High Power
Factor), EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) and short circuit protections,
thermal auto-reset, quiet operation.

Dimming Controls: Use only dimmers specifically designed for use with
magnetic or electronic transformers. Consult Lightolier Controls division for
information. Low voltage luminaries may produce audible sound when used
with dimmers.
Accessories
Thick Ceiling Adapter: for .875" - 1.75" thick ceiling capability, utilize C47CA2
Labels
CULUS (Suitable For Damp Locations), U.S. & Foreign Patents pending. Complies
with Air Leakage Requirements as stated in the Model Energy Code and the
Washington State Energy Code.
