INSTALLATION OF ROUND CALCULITE WITH
DUO-CAST REVERSIBLE TRIM FRAME-LENSLITE
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations. To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations, check with your local electrical inspector before
installation.
Retain these instructions for reference.
To prevent electrical shock, turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding.

A. TO INSTALL MOUNTING SUPPORT IN CEILING
Instsll MOUNTING SUPPORT
(1)With MOUNTING BAR (order se arately:
18’’—Cat. No. 1950; 27”—Cat. o. 1951) using rectangular slots as shown.
Slide mounting bar or channel (by others) through slots in adjustable mounting bracket which will place the bottom of the Trim Frame approximately in line with the finished ceiling line. Final adjustments may be made by means of mounting bracket screws on inside of fixture.

INSTALL DUO-CAST* REVERSIBLE TRIM FRAME
(RISK OF FIRE) DO NOT INSTALL INSULATION WITHIN 3 INCHES OF FIXTURE SIDES OR WIRING
using ADJUSTABLE MOUNTING BRACKET.

BOSSES and pry out. Repeat near the other two BOSSES until TRIM FRAME is free. Reverse TRIM FRAME and snap it back over
RETAINER until RETAINER’S lip falls into
space between upper and lower BOSSES.
TO INSTALL AND WIRE FIXTURE

1.Wire to supply leads. White fixture lead to neutral supply lead. Black fixture lead to hot
(120V.) supply lead. Bare fixture wire to supp-
ly ground. Use wirenuts (local hardware items). Place all electrical connections in the
J-BOX. Attach J-BOX COVER onto J-BOX.
2.To insure a neat installation, keep LENS BEZEL in carton; insert paint shield in DUO­CAST REVERSIBLE TRIM FRAME to protect inside of fixture from paint, plaster and dust.
Remove after construction is complete.
3. Adjust fixture for correct wattage. This fixture
is set at the factory for the smallest lamp size. For other lamp sizes as desired (see ar­chitect’s or engineer’s plans). Compress RE­TAINING SPRING and push ADJUSTABLE
SOCKET HOUSING upward until RETAINING
SPRING engages to slot for the required
lamp/wattage position. (See Fig. 4 and 5.)

4.Set DUO-CAST REVERSIBLE TRIM FRAME for flange or flangeless installation in accor­dance with Step A.
5.After ceiling is completed, attach LENS
BEZEL by squeezing TORSIONTITE SPRINGS
together and insert through slots in housing;
push up to ceiling.
6.To attach LENS BEZEL, squeeze TORSION­TITE SPRINGS together and insert through
slots in housing (Fig. 3); push up to ceiling.
7.To relamp, simply push lens up and grip edge of bezel. Then pull down (Fig. 6).
