■ The operating instructions are part of this
product. They contain important information
about safety, usage, and disposal.
■ Before using the product, please familiarize
yourself with all operating and safety

■ Use the product only as described and for
the specified range of applications.
■ Keep these operating instructions as a refe-
rence and store them near the product.
■ Please pass on all documentation incl. these
operating instructions to any future owner(s),
if you sell this product or give it away.

Intended use
This appliance serves as a wireless doorbell
system to announce visitors, allowing for the
operation of a door bell without any wiring.
The appliance is not intended for any other
purpose, nor for use beyond the scope described.
The appliance is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments. The manufacturer
accepts no responsibility for damage caused by
failure to observe these instructions, improper
use or repairs, unauthorized modifications, or
the use of unapproved replacement parts.
The risk shall be borne solely by the user.
Warning types
The following types of warning are used in
these operating instructions:
► WARNING indicates a hazardous situation
that, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.

► NOTICE indicates information that is considered
important, but not hazardous (e. g. messages
related to property damage).
▯ A tip provides additional information that
will assist you in using the device.
Safety
This section contains important safety instructions
for using the appliance. This appliance complies
with statutory safety regulations. Improper use
may result in personal injury and property
damage.
Basic safety guidelines
■ This appliance may be used by children who
are 8 years of age or older and by persons
with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
provided that they are under supervision or
have been told how to use the appliance
safely and are aware of the potential risks.

Children must not use the appliance as a toy.
Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may
not be carried out by children unless they are
supervised.
■ Do not allow children
to play with the packaging materials!
Keep all packaging materials away from
children. Risk of suffocation!
■ The plug is used as a separator from the
electricity grid and must always be readily
accessible.
■ Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced
incorrectly. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type.
■ Do not place any sources of open flames,
such as lighted candles, on the appliance.
■ Check the appliance for visible external
damage before use. Do not operate an
appliance that has been damaged or
dropped.
■ Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight
or high temperatures. Otherwise it may
overheat and be irreparably damaged.

■ Do not expose the receiver to spraying or
dripping water and do not place liquid-filled
objects, such as vases or open drink containers,
on or near the receiver.
■ Electric voltage!
Never open the housing of the receiver.
There are no serviceable or replaceable
components inside the appliance.
■ Do not make any unauthorized modifica-
tions or alterations to the appliance.
■ Repairs should only be carried out by
authorized service providers or by the
customer service department. Improper
repairs may put the user at risk. It will also
invalidate any warranty claims.
■ Unplug the appliance immediately if you
smell burning or notice smoke. Have the
appliance checked by a qualified specialist
before using it again.

Mishandling the batteries can cause fires,
explosions, leakages, or other hazards!
In order to handle batteries safely, please
observe the following safety instructions:
► Do not throw the batteries into a fire and do
not subject them to high temperatures.
► Do not open, deform, or short-circuit batteries,
since this can lead to chemical leakage.
► Do not attempt to recharge the batteries.
► Check the condition of the batteries at regular
intervals. Leaking chemicals can cause permanent damage to the appliance. Take particular
care when handling damaged or leaking
batteries. Risk of acid burns! Wear protective
gloves.
► Chemicals that leak from a battery can
cause skin irritation. In the event of contact
with the skin, rinse with plenty of water. If the
chemicals come into contact with your eyes,
rinse them thoroughly with water, and do not
rub them. Consult a physician immediately.

► Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Children might put batteries into their mouth
and swallow them. If a battery has been swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
► Always insert the batteries the right way
(observe correct polarity); otherwise there is
a risk that they could explode.
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for
a long time, remove the batteries.
► Do not ingest the battery – there is a risk of
chemical burns!
► This product contains a button cell battery.
Swallowing the button cell battery can cause
severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can
lead to death.
► Keep new and old batteries away from
children.
► If the battery compartment does not close
securely, stop using the product and keep it
away from children.

The scope of delivery includes the following
components:
● 1 x receiver
● 1 x transmitter
● 1 x 3V battery, type CR2032
● 5 x name plates
● 2 x wall plugs with screws for sender assembly
● 1 x double-sided adhesive tape
● These operating instructions
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance from
the packaging and remove all packaging
materials.
♦ Check the package for completeness and
for signs of visible damage.
♦ If the delivery is incomplete or damage has
occurred as a result of defective packaging
or during transport, contact the customer
service hotline (see section about 3 year limited warranty).

Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from
damage during transport. The packaging
materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and
are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the
material cycle conserves raw materials
and reduces the amount of waste
generated.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no
longer needed in accordance with applicable
local regulations.
Power supply receiver
The receiver must be plugged into a properly
installed power socket and does not require
batteries.
Inserting/replacing the batteries
♦ Open the battery compartment 9 by
inserting a coin into the slot and turning the
battery compartment cover 0 counterclockwise. The arrow on the lid must point to the
open lock symbol (see Fig. 1).

♦ Insert a CR2032 battery into the battery
compartment 9. The positive pole must
point upwards (see Fig. 2).
♦ Place the battery compartment cover 0 back
on the battery compartment 9 and lock it
by turning the battery compartment cover 0
clockwise. The arrow on the lid must point to
the closed lock symbol .
Otherwise, the IP protection is not guaranteed.

▯ If the performance of the appliance deteriorates
or completely stops, it means the battery is
depleted. Replace the used battery with a
new one of the same type.
Handling and operation
Selecting the signal type
The receiver can indicate the reception of a
door-ring signal either optically, acoustically,
or both optically and acoustically.
♦ To select, move the signal type switch 3 to
the desired position:
— acoustic doorbell signal only, the
selected melody will be played

— optical doorbell signal only, the
signal display flashes

Adjusting the signal sound volume
Press the VOL button 4 repeatedly until the
desired volume is set.
Loud Medium Quiet
Selecting the doorbell melody
There are 52 different doorbell melodies
stored in the appliance.
♦ Press the melody select button 5.
♦ Stop the selection when you hear the
desired melody. The appliance will use the
last-played melody.
▯ If you remove the receiver from the power
socket, the set melody remains saved for
approximately 40 seconds. After this time,
you need to set your desired melody anew.

Synchronizing the transmitter and
receiver
The transmitter and receiver of this wireless
doorbell system can communicate with each
other via a number of different codings. This
means that you can operate up to 5 transmitters with one receiver. In addition, you can
expand the wireless doorbell system with any
number of receivers. However, this is only
possible if the transmitter and receiver within
a system are working on the same frequency.
For this, you must synchronize the devices as
follows:
♦ Press the synchronization button 6 on
the receiver.
♦ Now press the doorbell button 8 on the
transmitter.
If the synchronization is successful, the receiver
notifies you of the programmed call signal.
Should the receiver not react as described,
repeat the synchronization.

▯ To cancel the synchronization between
transmitter and receiver, press and hold the
synchronization button 6 on the receiver for about 5 seconds.
▯ Pull the receiver out of the power socket
and wait for about 10 seconds to clear all
connections between the transmitter and the
receiver.
Mounting the transmitter
♦ Select a suitable position for the transmitter,
close to your front door.
♦ Mark the positions for the required drill holes
with the help of the mounting plate q and
drill the holes for the supplied anchors r
(5mm (3/16") drill).
♦ Push the anchors into the drill holes and
screw the mounting plate qonto the wall
using the screws t.
♦ Push the transmitter onto the mounting plate q
until it clicks audibly into place.

▯ Alternatively, you can mount the transmitter
onto a suitable surface using the double-sided
adhesive tape w.
♦ Label one of the supplied name plates e.
♦ If you label the name plate by hand, make
sure you use a waterproof pen.
♦ Remove the name plate cover 7 from the
transmitter and insert your name plate into
the recess on the transmitter.
♦ Put the name plate cover 7 back on the
transmitter.
Maintenance
The appliance is maintenance-free. No form of
maintenance, neither on nor inside the appliance,
is intended to be carried out by the user.
In the event of malfunction or apparent damage,
contact the customer service department.
If the appliance is not going to be used for an
extended period, remove the batteries.
