Removing Back Cover
Use th e finger tip cutou t at the bot tom of the
phon e to remove th e back cover.
Inserting the SIM/microSD Cards
NOTE The microSD card is sold separately. See “Installing
the Battery” for reference. If not already inserted, follow
the instructions below to insert your 4G SIM Card.
1. Remo ve the back cov er and the ba ttery.
2. Locate the microSD a nd SIM card slot s
(“mic roSD” and “ micro SIM” is i nscribed
near t he slot opening).
3. Positio n the microSD a nd SIM cards wi th
the label side f acing up and slide the m
into place until they are fully ins erted.
Removing the SIM Card
1. Turn the po wer off. Remove t he back
cover and the b attery.
2. Locate the SIM card slo t and gently
press i nward to release, th en pull the
SIM card out to remove it.

Removing the microSD Card
1. To remove the m icroSD card you
must fi rst un mount it. Fr om the Home
scree n, touch th e Menu Key >
Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card.
2. Remove t he back cover t hen locate t he
microSD card slot.
3. Gently push i nwards on th e microSD
card to r elease it.
4. Once re leased from t he slot, gently
pull th e microSD car d out to remove i t.
* A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM Card) is a “smartcard”
that houses personal information, such as your mobile
phone number, calling plan, and account information,
such as contacts, text messages, and call history. The
Verizon Wireless 4G LTE SIM Card is compatible with
any Verizon Wireless 4G LTE certified device. The 4G LTE
SIM Card can move from one device to another and your
wireless service will work seamlessly as long as you have
a compatible device and service plan. To see which devices
are compatible with the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE SIM Card,
visit verizonwireless.com/certifieddevice.
Installing the Battery
NOTE: It’s important to fully charge the battery before
turning on your phone.
1. Use the fi nger tip cutou t at the bot tom
of the p hone to remove the ba ck cover.
2. Align t he battery contac ts with the
terminals in the battery compartment
and push the batt ery down until it
clicks into pl ace.
3. Place t he batter y cover over the
battery compartment, then press
down ward until it clicks into pl ace.
Removing the Battery
1. Turn the ph one off and use the
fi nger tip cutou t at the bot tom of the
phon e to remove the b ack cover.
2. Use the fi nger tip cutou t at the bot tom
of the b attery c ompart ment to lift the
battery out.
Powering your phone on/off
It’s impor tant to fully charge th e batter y
before turning on your phone.
1. To turn on th e phone, pre ss and hold
the Power/Lock Key for a cou ple of
secon ds until the s creen ligh ts up.
2. To turn of f the phone, p ress and hold
the Power/Lock Key
tu rns o ff.
• If your s creen tur ns off, press th e
Power/Lock Key
until the phone
to tur n it back on.
Shortcuts on the Lock Screen
1. Press t he Power/Lock Key to turn
on your screen. Your Lock Screen will
appear.
2. Four fr equently used sh ortcut s are

• To access a shortcut, slide the icon
down . The screen will unlock an d
access the ap plication.
Ringtones
1. From the Home s creen, tou ch the
Menu Key > Settings > Sound.
2. On the Incomi ng calls sec tion, touch
Phone ringtone.
3. Touch the ri ngtone to s elect it and
liste n to it. Touch OK to save the
desired tone.
4. Scroll down to set additional
Notifi cations and Feedback settings.
Dialing a Call
1. From the H ome screen , swipe fro m
righ t to left to acc ess the Dialer
widget.
2. Touch the key s on the dialpa d to
manually enter a phone number.
3. Touch the Ca ll Key
number that you en tered.

Location Based Services
This phone can determine its location,
which is useful for services such as
navigation, shopping and weather. For
your safety, it’s defaulted to only acquire
your location when you dial 911. To use
Location Based Services, from the Home
screen, touch the Menu Key > Settings
> Location to turn on location services.
Your wireless device can determine its (and your) physical,
geographical location (“Location Information”) and can
associate Location Information with other data. Additionally,
certain applications, services and programs are capable of
accessing, collecting, storing and using Location Information
and disclosing Location Information to others. You should
use caution when determining whether or not Location
Information should be made available to others and you
should review any applicable third party policies before
providing access. To limit potential unauthorized access to
your Location Information, Verizon Wireless offers various
mechanisms and settings to manage access to location
data. By enabling location settings you are permitting third
