Using Smart Functions
Avoiding obstacles
The cleaner minimizes collision with nearby obstacles as
much as possible using four laser sensors attached at
both front side of the cleaner main unit.
The obstacle avoiding function is available for some
•
models only.
Performance may be degraded if dust gathers on the
•
laser sensor window. Wipe dust with a cotton swab.
Be careful that the cleaner can collide with the thin
•
desk leg, door, or obstacle lower than 30cm.
The obstacle may not be detected because there can
•
be a blind spot in the sensing area.
The backing-up function is available to escape when
•
collided with an obstacle in a blind spot.
This product is a Class I laser device of which conform-
•
ity assessment is conducted in accordance with the
IEC 60825-1.
