BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This guide contains many important safety messages. Always read and obey all safety messages.
This is the safety alert symbol. It alerts you to safety messages that inform to you of hazard that can hurt you or others or cause damage to the product. All safety messages will be
preceded by the safety alert symbol and the hazard signal word WARNING or CAUTION. These words mean:
WARNING CAUTION
You will be hurt or seriously injured if you don't follow instructions.
It indicates an imminent hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury, or product damage.
All safety messages will identify the hazard, that inform to you how to reduce the chance of injury and what can happen if the instructions are not followed.

Read all instructions before using this appliance.
1. When connecting the power
A separate outlet should be used.
Using several devices at one outlet may cause fire.
Make sure the mains cable is not bent or trapped under a heavy object. It may damage the cable and cause fire or electric shock.
Water on the plug or plug damage can cause fire or electric shock.
Do not change the mains
cable and do not change its length. It may damage the cable and cause fire or electric shock.
If the mains cable is
damaged it must be replaced by a service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.

1. When connecting the power
Unplug the power plug when cleaning, handling or replacing the interior lamp of the refrigerator.
•It may cause electric shock or injury.
•When replacing the interior lamp
of the refrigerator, make sure that the rubber ring for
preventing the electric spark within the socket is not taken off.
Remove water or dust from the plug and securely connect it to the socket.
Dust, water or looseness in connection may cause fire or electric shock.
When the power cord or the power plug is damaged or the holes of
the outlet are loosed, do
not use them.
It may cause electric shock or short circuit to make fire.
Do not pull out the cable or touch the power plug with wet hands.

2. When using the refrigerator
Do not place heavy or dangerous objects such on
the top of the appliance.
When opening or closing the door it may fall and cause injury, fire or electric shock.
Do not cling to the doors, door baskets, drawers or shelves.
These may cause the refrigerator to fall or lead to hand injuries. Especially, do not allow the children to do the above.
