What is Inverter Direct Drive Technology?

LG Inverter Direct Drive is a unique technology that’ll become the talk of the town, for its silence. In this, the motor is attached directly to the drum, thus eliminating the belt and the pulley. This smoothens the engine and the drum movement, causing less vibration and less frictional noise. This silent but steady technology, delivers power directly to the drum, ensuring a quieter and more efcient wash. Also, it does not require a

belt replacement from time to time.

Better Washing Performance: Steam cleans better than water

How is steam generated?

Water converts into steam under increased temperature conditions. It takes the form of warm vapour that has more heat

and motion energy than water. Therefore, the use of steam in

washing makes all the difference. The hot vapour envelopes the

clothes, resulting in an effective and a thorough wash.

The cubic volume of steam vapour at 100°C is 1600 times more than that of liquid at 25°C. Such an increase in energy leads to effective washing.

Why steam?

• Easily transmits heat and humidity due to its minute scale and mobility.

Easily removes odour particles due to its strong absorption force.

• Easily reduces static electricity in clothes due to steam’s nature of having negative(-) ions.

The unique optimum steam temperature and rinsing function enables the Steam Washer Dryer to remove major allergens effectively.

House dust mites, pet fur and pollen found on clothes are eradicated while washing. What you get are thoroughly disinfected clothes

3 STEP PROCESS

Step 1: Allergen Sanitization

Atomized steam (1/600 of water size) penetrates each corner of the cloth bre and sanitizes the allergens.

Step 2: Allergen Dissolution

Detergent water circulation loosens the allergens from clothes and the steam keeps an optimal temperature of

C for allergen dissolution.

Dual Spray System

The Dual Spray System reduces water and energy consumption. It uses less water to wash the laundry. It also sprays both water and steam continuously onto the clothes throughout

LG Steam Washer Dryer has been awarded the Green Label by the Singapore Environment Council. It is less harmful

to the environment in terms of manufacturing, use and disposal. The manufacturing materials are environment-

Warm Water Rinse

Only LG Front Loading Washing Machines have a Warm Water

Rinse function, which minimises the chances of detergent

remaining in the tub at the end of every wash cycle. It greatly reduces the chances of allergy.

Sterilization

The temperature in the drum of the Steam Washer Dryer goes up to 100°C during every wash. It can effectively kill bacteria such as

Staphylococcus and Coliform, which can cause diarrhoea and at times, even lead to food poisoning.

CONVENTIONAL TUB CLEAN LG TUB CLEAN

Drum can be washed but the tub is left dirty. The RPM is not fast enough.

Top and side of the tub is not cleaned.

The tub is cleaned with water at 85oC, sterilizing

the tub and the drum. After which, high RPM speed is

applied to remove all dirt and water stains.

Water Level Sensor

With the option of 9 different water levels, the

Door Open Sensor

While the machine is in the operating mode,

its sensors ensure the door is properly shut.

If the door is open, the machine stops,

Load Imbalance Sensor
