water. Do not use the remote if the batteries
have leaked.

the remote if the batteries have leaked.

1. Contact an installation specialist for installation.

2. Use a dedicated circuit.

1. Being exposed to direct airflow for an extended period of time could be hazardous to your health.
Do not expose occupants, pets, or plants to direct airflow for extended periods of time.

2. Due to the possibility of oxygen deficiency, ventilate the room when used together with stoves or
other heating devices.

3. Do not use this air conditioner for non-specified special purposes (e.g. preserving precision de­vices, food, pets, plants, and art objects). Such usage could damage the items.

1. Do not touch the metal parts of the unit when removing the filter. Injuries can occur when handling
sharp metal edges.

2. Do not use water to clean inside the air conditioner. Exposure to water can destroy the insulation,
leading to possible electric shock.

3. When cleaning the unit, first make sure that the power and breaker are turned off. The fan rotates
at a very high speed during operation. There is a possibility of injury if the unit’s power is acciden­tally triggered on while cleaning inner parts of the unit.

Name and Function of Wireless Remote Controller(Accessory)

1. VANE ANGLE Button

Used to set each vane angle.

2. FUNCTION SETTING Button

Used to set or clear Auto Clean, Smart Clean,
Electric heater or Individual vane angle control.

3. ON/OFF Button

Used to turn on/off the unit.

4. JET COOL Button

Speed cooling operates super high fan speed.

5. LEFT/RIGHT AIRFLOW Button (OPTIONAL)

Used to set the desired left/right(horizontal) air­flow direction.

6. UP/DOWN AIRFLOW Button

Used to stop or start louver movement and set
the desired up/down airflow direction.

7. ON TIMER Button

Tips for Filter Sign LED (Grille Type)

Operation procedures when the remote control can't be
used.
Press the tact switch (forced operation) for 2 seconds.
If you want to stop operation, press again the tact switch.
In case the power comes on again after power failure on
the forced operation mode, the operating conditions are
automatically set as follows:
During forced operation, the initial mode continues.

In case the power comes on again after a power failure, auto restarting operation is the function to operate proce­dures automatically to the previous operating conditions.

1. Filter sign lamp (LED) is on.

2. If LED indicating filter sign lamp is on, clean the filter.

3. After cleaning the filter, press the timer button and

◀

button of wired remote controller at the same time for 3 sec-

onds. Then filter sign LED is off.

Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth. Do not use bleach or abrasives.

Never use any of these

• Water hotter than 40°C. It may cause deformation and discoloration.

• Volatile substances. They may damage the surface of the air conditioner.

Cleaning of Panel and filters

Removal of Grille

1. Open the front grille by pulling forward

2. Then pull out the link of grille from groove in front panel.

3. Then pull out 2 hinges of grille from grooves in front panel.

CAUTION

Before performing any maintenance, turn off the main power to the system, disconnect the circuit breaker and
unplug the power cord.

Air Filters

The air filters behind the front panel / grill should be checked and cleaned once in
every 2 weeks or more often if necessary. To remove the filters see the self explanatory
diagrams below. Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or warm soapy water.
If dirt is not easily removed, wash with a solution of detergent in luke warm water.
Dry well in shade after washing and reinstall the filters back in place.

Allergy Filter

Remove the Allergy Filter behind the air filter and expose them in
direct sunlight for 2 hours.
And then insert these filters into original position.

CAUTION

Removal of Filters

1. Pull down the filter tab slightly to
remove the air filter.

2. Hold the tabs of the frame, and
remove the claws in 4 places.

Helpful information

The air filters and your electiric bill.
If the air filters become clogged with dust, the
cooling capacity will drop, and 6% of the electricity
used to operate the air conditioner will be wasted.

When it is not going to be used for
a long time.

When the air conditioner is to be used again.

Operate the air conditioner at the follow­ing settings for 2 to 3 hours.

• Type of operation: Fan operation mode.

• This will dry out the internal mechanisms.

Turn off the breaker.

Turn off the breaker when the air conditioner
is not going to be used for a long time.

Dirt may collect and may cause a fire.

Clean the air filter and install it in the
indoor unit.

Check that the air inlet and outlet of the
indoor/outdoor unit are not blocked.

Check that the ground wire is con­nected correctly. It may be connect to
the indoor unit side.

Do not overcool the room. Keep blinds or curtains

closed.

Keep the room temperature

uniform.

This is not good for the health
and wastes electricity.

Do not let direct sunshine
enter the room when the air
conditioner is in operation.

Adjust the vertical and hori­zontal airflow direction to en­sure a uniform temperature in
the room.

Make sure that the doors

and windows are shut tight.

Clean the air filter regularly. Ventilate the room occasion-

ally.

Avoid opening doors and
windows as much as possible
to keep the cool air in the
room.

Blockages in the air filter re­duce the airflow and lower
cooling and dehumidifying ef­fects. Clean at least once
every two weeks.

Since windows are kept
closed, it is a good idea to
open them and ventilate the
room now and then.

WATER RESISTANT: The outdoor side of this appliance is WATER RESISTANT.

Prima dellʼuso

1. Rivolgersi a un tecnico specializzato per lʼinstallazione.

2. Utilizzare un circuito dedicato.

1. Lʼesposizione prolungata al flusso diretto dellʼaria per un periodo prolungato di tempo può essere
pericoloso per la salute. Non esporre persone, animali o piante al flusso diretto dellʼaria per
periodi prolungati.

2. Per evitare rischi di carenza di ossigeno, in caso di uso con fornelli o altri dispositivi di
riscaldamento ventilare lʼambiente.

3. Non usare questo condizionatore per scopi particolari non specificamente previsti (per esempio
per conservare dispositivi di precisione, alimenti, animali domestici, piante e oggetti d'arte).
Questo tipo d'uso può danneggiare gli oggetti.

1. Non toccare le parti metalliche dellʼunità durante la rimozione del filtro. La manipolazione dei bordi
metallici taglienti può essere causa di lesioni.

2. Non pulire con acqua lʼinterno dellʼunità. Lʼesposizione allʼacqua può distruggere lʼisolamento,
causando possibili scosse elettriche.

3. Prima di pulire lʼunità, accertarsi che lʼalimentazione sia esclusa e lʼinterruttore spento. Durante il

Usato per impostare l’angolo delle palette.

Usato per accendere e spegnere l’unità.

Il raffreddamento rapido funziona con velocità di

Procedure di azionamento in caso di indisponibilità del telecomando.
Premere il pulsante (azionamento manuale) per 2 secondi.
Per arrestare il funzionamento premere nuovamente il pulsante.
Se l'alimentazione viene ristabilita dopo una mancanza di corrente
durante il funzionamento manuale, le condizioni di funzionamento
vengono automaticamente impostate come segue:
Durante il funzionamento manuale continua la modalità impostata
inizialmente.

In caso di ripristino dell'alimentazione dopo una mancanza di corrente, la funzione di riavvio automatico attiva
automaticamente le procedure secondo le impostazioni operative precedenti.

1. La spia LED di segnalazione è accesa.

2. Se la spia LED di segnalazione filtro è accesa, pulire il filtro.

3. Dopo avere pulito il filtro, tenere premuti contemporaneamente il tasto timer e il tasto ◀ del telecomando per 3
secondi. La spia LED del filtro si spegne.

Pulire utilizzando un panno morbido e asciutto. Non utilizzare candeggine o abrasivi.

Non utilizzare mai:

• Acqua a una temperatura superiore ai 40°C. Ciò potrebbe causare deformazione e scolorimento.

• Sostanze volatili. Potrebbero danneggiare le superfici del condizionatore dʼaria.

Filtri dellʼaria

I filtri dellʼaria dietro la griglia/il pannello anteriore devono essere controllati e puliti almeno ogni 2 settimane,
o più spesso se necessario. Per rimuovere i filtri vedere le figure esplicative in basso. Pulire i filtri con un
aspirapolvere o con acqua tiepida e sapone.

Se la sporcizia non viene via facilmente, lavare con una soluzione di detergente in acqua
tiepida. Dopo il lavaggio con acqua, far asciugare allʼombra e reinstallare i filtri al loro posto.

Filtro anallergico

Rimuovere il filtro anallergico dietro al filtro dell'aria ed esporlo alla
luce diretta del sole per 2 ore.

Inserire quindi i filtri al loro posto.

Prima di effettuare interventi di manutenzione, spegnere lʼalimentazione del sistema, escludere il circuito
mediante l'interruttore e scollegare il cavo di alimentazione.

1. Aprire la griglia frontale tirando in avanti

2. Estrarre il gancio della griglia dalla sede nel pannello frontale.

3. Estrarre i 2 cardini della griglia dalle sedi nel pannello frontale.

Rimozione dei filtri

1. Tirare delicatamente la linguetta
del filtro per rimuoverlo.

2. Tenere le linguette della cornice
e liberare gli incastri in 4 punti.

Suggerimenti per il funzionamento

Informazioni utili

I filtri dell'aria e la vostra bolletta elettrica. Se i filtri
dell'aria vengono intasati dalla polvere, la capacità del
condizionatore si abbassa, e il 6% dell'elettricità usata
per far funzionare il condizionatore va sprecato.

Quando si prevede di non utilizzarlo per un
lungo periodo.

Quando si prevede di riutilizzare il condizionatore.

Far funzionare il condizionatore con le
seguenti impostazioni per 2-3 ore.

• Tipo di funzionamento: modalità
ventilatore.

• Questo asciugherà i meccanismi interni.

Spegnere l'interruttore.

Spegnere l'interruttore quando si prevede di non
utilizzare il condizionatore per un lungo periodo.

Altrimenti lo sporco accumulato potrebbe

Pulire il filtro dell'aria e installarlo
nell'unità interna.

Verificare che i condotti di ingresso e di
uscita dell'aria dell'unità interna e di
quella esterna non siano ostruiti.

Accertarsi che il cavo della presa di
terra sia correttamente connesso. Può
essere corretto all'unità interna.

Non raffreddare

Ciò può causare danni alla
salute e sprechi di energia.

Tenere tende e persiane

chiuse.

Durante il funzionamento del
condizionatore evitare
