Securing TV to the Wall

1 Insertandtightentheeye-bolts,orTVbracketsandboltsontheback oftheTV.
• Ifthereareboltsinsertedattheeye-boltsposition,removethe boltsfirst.
2Mountthewallbracketswiththeboltstothewall.
Matchthelocationofthewallbracketandtheeye-boltsontherear
oftheTV.
3Connecttheeye-boltsandwallbracketstightlywithasturdyrope. Makesuretokeeptheropehorizontalwiththeflatsurface.
• Useaplatformorcabinetthatisstrongandlargeenoughto supporttheTVsecurely.
• Brackets,boltsandropesarenotprovided.Youcanobtain additionalaccessoriesfromyourlocaldealer.
Mounting to the Wall
AnoptionalwallmountcanbeusedwithyourLGTelevision.Consult withyourlocaldealerforawallmountthatsupportstheVESA standardusedbyyourTVmodel.Carefullyattachthewallmount bracketattherearoftheTV.Installthewallmountbracketonasolid wallperpendiculartothefloor.IfyouareattachingtheTVtoother buildingmaterials,pleasecontactqualifiedpersonneltoinstallthe wallmount.Detailedinstructionswillbeincludedwiththewallmount. WerecommendthatyouuseanLGbrandwallmount.TheLGwall mountiseasytoadjustortoconnectthecables.Whenyoudonotuse LG’swallmountbracket,useawallmountbracketwherethedeviceis adequatelysecuredtothewallwithenoughspacetoallowconnectivity toexternaldevices.Ifyouareusinganon-adjustablemount,attachthe mounttothewall.AttachthecablestotheTVfirst,thenattachtheTV tothemount.

• IftheTVfeelscoldtothetouch,theremaybeasmallflickerwhen itisturnedon.Thisisnormal;thereisnothingwrongwithTV. Someminutedotdefectsmaybevisibleonthescreen,appearing astinyred,green,orbluespots.However,theyhavenoadverse effectontheTV’sperformance.AvoidtouchingtheLCDscreenor holdingyourfinger(s)againstitforlongperiodsoftime.Doingso mayproducesometemporarydistortioneffectsonthescreen. • Thispanelisanadvancedproductthatcontainsmillionsofpixels. Inaveryfewcases,youcouldseefinedotsonthescreenwhile you’reviewingtheTV.Thosedotsaredeactivatedpixelsanddonot affecttheperformanceandreliabilityoftheTV.
• Displayingastillimageforaprolongedperiodoftimemaycause animagesticking.AvoiddisplayingafixedimageontheTVscreen foraextendedlengthoftime.
Generated Sound
• Cracking noise Acrackingnoisethatoccurswhenwatchingor turningofftheTVisgeneratedbyplasticthermalcontractiondue totemperatureandhumidity.Thisnoiseiscommonforproducts wherethermaldeformationisrequired.
