Epilepsy Warning
Please read prior to any use of a video game by yourself or by your child.
Some people are susceptible to epileptic seizures or loss of consciousness when exposed to certain kinds of flashing lights or elements common in our everyday environment. These individuals may suffer a seizure when they watch certain televised images or when they play certain video games. These phenomena can occur even if the person has no previous medical history or has never suffered an epileptic seizure. If you or a family member has ever displayed symptoms related to epilepsy (seizure or loss of consciousness) in the presence of stimulation in the form of light, please consult your physician before using. We advise parents to be attentive to their children while they play video games. If you or your child experience the following symptoms: dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of consciousness, disorientation, involuntary movements or convulsions, immediately stop playing and consult a physician.
General Precautions When Using Video Games
- Do not stand too close to the screen. Play at a safe distance from the television screen and as far as the connecting cord allows.
- It is preferable to play video games on a small screen. Avoid playing when tired or when needing sleep.
- Make sure to play in a well lit room.
- When in use, take breaks of 10 to 15 minutes every hour.

Important information
Emergency calls
All mobile phones use radio waves and reception cannot be guaranteed in all locations. For this reason you must not rely exclusively on your mobile phone for urgent calls (e.g. in medical emergencies).
Emergency calls may not be possible on all mobile phone networks or when certain network services and/or phone functions are being used. You may have to exit these functions before being able to make an emergency call. Consult thi
s handbook and
your network operator.
To make an emergency call:
1. Make sure that your phone is on and that it is in standby mode and receiving a signal. Some networks require that a valid SIM card is inserted.
2. Dial the emergency number and press Talk.
3. When making an emergency call, remember to state all the necessary information as precisely as possible. Be aware that your mobile phone may be the only communications device at the site of the accident. Do not end the call before receiving permission to do so.
Certification information (SAR)
THIS PHONE MODEL FULFILLS THE EU DIRECTIVES ON EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.
You mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It was developed and manufactured so that it does not exceed the limits for protection against radio waves recommended by the Council of the European Union. Within the framework of the general guidelines, these limits determine the permitted RF energy levels for the whole population. These guidelines were drawn up by independent scientific organisations according to regular assessments and thorough scientific studies. These limits include a considerable safety margin that is designed to guarantee the s
afety of everyone - regardless of their state of health and age.
The directive on mobile phones uses a measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit recommended by the Council of the European Union is 2.0 W/kg.* SAR tests were carried out in standard operating positions, whereby the phone was tested in all certified frequency bands at the highest permissible power level. As the SAR is determined at the highest permissible power level, the act
ual SAR level when using the phone may be much lower than the maximum value. This is because the phone was developed to be operated at different power levels and only ever use the power that is necessary to connect to the mobile phone network. In general, the closer you are the to the base station antenna, the lower the power output.
Compliance with the European R&TTE Directive must be proven before a phone model can be sold to the public. This directive includ
es a basic requirement to
protect the health and safety of the user and other people. In tests to prove compliance with the standard, the highest SAR value of this mobile phone when using directly at the body was 0.442 W/kg; and the ear was 0.169 W/kg.
Although different phones and phones in different locations may show differing SAR values, all conform to the EU directives for protection against RF energy.
* The SAR limit for mobile phones used
by the public is 2.0 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of body tissue. The limit includes a considerable safety margin to guarantee additional protection to the public and in consideration of variations in measurements. The SAR values may vary according to national requirements and network bandwidths.

These limits include a considerable safety margin that is designed to guarantee the saf
ety of everyone - regardless of their state of health and age.
As the SAR is determined at the highest permissible power level, the actual
SAR level when using the phone may be much lower than the maximum value. This is because the phone was developed to be operated at different power levels and only ever use the power that is necessary to connect to the mobile phone network. In general, the closer you are the to the base station antenna, the lower the power output.
