FEATURES

• The Remembrance 8-1001 and 8-1002 series
of Analog Slider Control Stations provides
direct slider potentiometer control over 1 or
2 lighting channels. These channels may be
composed of 1 or more incandescent or low
voltage dimmers. Direct manual control allows
for an infinite selection of different lighting
looks using simple slider type potentiometer
controllers. A single pushbutton turns the
station on and off as well as taking control
from other stations which control the same
dimmers. This same system provides for the
greatest flexibility in control for applications
where lighting needs are constantly changing
and cannot be met with a series of
pre-designed looks.

• Multiple stations may be installed allowing
control from several locations. If connected
to an i Series e or i Series Quad dimmer rack,
control channels can be recorded as scene
masters.

• Simple, powerful preset storage and recall
with programmable fade time when used
with i Series e, i Series Quad racks, and
Remembrance Digital Control Stations

• Take control feature

• Use alone or in series for multiple station
control

• Can be used in pile-on mode with stage
control when used with i Series e

SPECIFICATIONS

• Finish. The control faceplate shall be sheet metal,
painted white, with graduated silk-screened scales
for the dimmer potentiometers. Custom legends
may be included, if specified.

• Mounting. The entire assembly shall mount into a
contractor-furnished 3-1/2” [8.9 cm] deep back
box (Steel City CY-1/2 or equivalent). There shall
be no fasteners visible on the front surface.

ELECTRICAL

• Slide controllers. Control stations shall contain
1 or 2 slide potentiometers, each with at least 2”
of travel, providing live instantaneous control over
the output of the associated dimmer(s). It shall be
possible to connect any one dimmer or group of
dimmers to any slide potentiometer.

• Pushbutton. Control station shall contain a
momentary pushbutton switch with integral LED
indicator, and circuitry to turn on and off station.
Additional circuitry shall be provided to “take
control” from any other station connected to it.

• Wiring. Control stations shall be low voltage
wired to terminals in the Dimmer Rack.
The number of conductors required is 4, plus
1 for each potentiometer. Wire shall be Alpha
1898 or equal control cable.

OPERATION

• Pushing the Take Control/On-Off switch while it is
illuminated will cause an indicator lamp behind the
button to illuminate.

• The rear illumination indicates that the station is
active. The channel sliders may be used to control
the level of individual control areas.

• Pushing the Take Control/On-Off switch while it
is illuminated will cause the station to turn off the
indicator in the switch and all dimmers associated
with the station.

• Pushing the Take Control/On-Off switch at an
inactive station while another connected station
is active will take control away from the active
station. The dimmers associated with those
stations will immediately go to the levels
indicated on the newly active station.
