INTRODUCTION
LEO™ LED Follow Spot is a high-performance LED lighting fixture that delivers a bright and long beam in a choice of color
temperatures (3200K and 5600K) with high color rendering index (CRI 90+).
WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
• TO AVOID SHOCK OR DEATH, always connect this product to a grounded circuit.
• DO NOT operate this product if there is visible damage to the unit or cable connections.
• DO NOT operate near flammable materials - minimum 8" (20 cm) from adjacent surface.
• DO NOT expose to moisture. This product is for indoor use ONLY!
Allow product to fully acclimate to surrounding environment before connecting to a power source.
DO NOT open the housing or attempt any repairs. Opening the housing or attempting to repair the product will void the
warranty. Contact Leviton Technical Assistance.
• Mount fixture in a safe position with adequate ventilation and away from a heat source - minimum 20" (50 cm) from
adjacent surface. Maximum ambient temperature is 95 °F (35 °C).
• DO NOT cover the ventilation holes when operating to avoid internal overheating.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while the product is ON.
• When the Follow Spot is mounted to a tripod, the base width of the tripod must be a minimum of 32" (81 cm) in diameter
and the mounting height of the Follow Spot yoke must not exceed 44" (112 cm).
• If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, consult an electrician.

MOUNTING TO TRIPOD
LEO™ LED Follow Spot can also be mounted to a Follow Spot tripod. Ensure it is mounted securely using the 3/8" (9.5mm)
spigot adapter and hex nut provided with the tripod. NOTE: If your tripod is provided with wheels, the wheels should be
installed prior to attaching the fixture to the tripod. When the Follow Spot is mounted to a tripod, the base width of the tripod
must be a minimum of 32" (81 cm) in diameter and the mounting height of the Follow Spot yoke must not exceed 44" (112 cm).

ALTERNATE YOKE MOUNT
NOTE: The yoke mounting position can be adjusted to accommodate varying weights of different accessories. The fixture
comes mounted to the adjustment hole closest to the lens to accommodate the 5-Color Changer. If using the fixture without
the 5-Color Changer, use the alternate mounted hole for better balance.
MOUNTING
LEO™ LED Follow Spot is fitted with a mounting yoke. The yoke has a 0.5" (13mm) hole for the attachment of a Ø 29mm
spigot. Ensure the structure you are mounting to can support the load of the fixture.
• Always mount this product in a safe position with adequate ventilation and away from a heat source - minimum 20"
(50 cm) from adjacent surface.
• DO NOT operate product near flammable materials - minimum 8" (20 cm) from adjacent surfaces.
• LEO™ LED Follow Spot may be operated in any position (max. tilt +45° to -45° from horizontal and panning freely).
NOTE: Ensure there is adequate room for ventilation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Position 5-Color Changer on front plate of fixture (ensure color levers are on right side when viewed from behind fixture)
• Line up mounting holes with screws and attach, sliding 5-Color Changer down into position
• Tighten mounting screws with long screwdriver
NOTE: 5-Color Changer is also equipped with a drop-in runner slot for color/diffusion media (190 mm x 190 mm).
NOTE: Always close the 5-Color Changer when transporting or storing the fixture.

ANGLE ADJUSTMENTS
LEO™ LED Follow Spot can be panned, tilted up and down to position the light where it is needed.
• Loosen the yoke-fastening lever, while holding the fixture steady with the side handle or rear handle of the fixture.
• With the fixture turned ON, use the handles and tilt it to the desired angle.
• Tighten the yoke-fastening lever once positioned.

BEAM SHAPING
The LED Follow Spot light can be shaped as follows:
• Drop-in Iris Pattern
• Drop-in Gobo Pattern
• Variable Beam*
*
Variable beam is altered by adjusting the front and rear zoom lenses in relation to one another.
The front lens defines the beam spread. The rear lens controls the softness or hardness of the beam edge.
OPERATION
For standard operation, connect the
LEO™ LED Follow Spot
to a power source (100-240VAC single phase). To switch ON,
press the POWER button at the back of the fixture. The red status indication lamp (POWER) on the control panel will light up
when power is applied.
NOTE: The fixture is equipped with two fans to aid in the cooling process. They are designed to vary their velocity at different
operating temperatures. Ensure vents are clean to maintain proper cooling. Avoid touching the fixture's housing as it may
become hot during use.

• To decrease light output, turn the dimming knob
counterclockwise to DIM.
• To increase light output, turn the dimming knob
clockwise to BRIGHT. The green status indication
lamp (DIM) on the control panel will light up
according to the intensity of the light output.

• To begin, press and hold the STROBE button.
• Release the STROBE button to stop the effect.
Light output will be resumed to the previous setting.

• Keep unit clean and vent holes clear from debris
• Maintain adequate ventilation around the fixture while in use
• Reduce ambient temperature
• Limit overall projection intensity
LENS CLEANING
• Unplug LED Follow Spot from power and wait until fixture is at room temperature
• Open lens compartment door by lifting the two spring clips on the top of the lens tube
• Remove dust with a blast of oil-free air or wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth
• DO NOT use ammonia-based or other harsh commercial cleaners (Isopropyl alcohol may be used on the cloth)
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before restoring power
• Replace lenses if they contain visible damage (cracks or deep scratches)
FUSE REPLACEMENT
• Unplug the product from power.
• Using a slotted screwdriver, push slightly at the slot of the fuse cap and rotate
counterclockwise to open.
• Remove fuse cap and fuse. Place new fuse inside the fuse cap.
• Screw the fuse cap with new fuse back in place and reconnect power.
MAINTENANCE
To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve lifespan, disconnect the LEO™ LED Follow Spot completely from power when
not in use.
NOTE: LEO™ LED Follow Spot comes with a power lead terminated with a powerCON A connector on one side, and a PBG
NEMA 5-15P connector on the other side. Other connector options are available from Leviton or may be installed by your
contractor.
