General information

Compact, reliable and sturdy, Levenhuk Energy PLUS binoculars are a
perfect choice for people, who like to travel a lot, often go hiking and
sometimes, along the way, find themselves in extreme situations and
harsh conditions, where regular binoculars just would not do. The
rugged shell of these binoculars protects the intricate optical system
inside from any sudden impacts or moisture.

Focusing and diopter adjustment

Your left eye vision might be different from that of your right eye and
you might need to adjust the diopter setting on one of the eyepieces.
To do this, just follow this simple procedure:
Look through your binoculars at a distant object;
Close your right eye and rotate the central focusing wheel until the
view is focused;
Now, close your left eye and observe with your right. Slowly rotate the
diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece until the view is focused
again.

Now that your binoculars are focused, you only need to use the
central focusing wheel during observations.

Precautionary measures

Never, under any circumstance, look directly at the Sun, another
bright source of light or at a laser through these binoculars, as this
may cause PERMANENT RETINAL DAMAGE and may lead to BLINDNESS.
Take necessary precautions when using these binoculars with children
or people, who have not read and fully understood these instructions.

Do not try to take these binoculars apart on your own. For repairs of

Care and maintenance

Do not touch the optical surfaces with your fingers. You can use a soft
napkin or a cleaning wipe, dipped in ether or absolute alcohol, to
clean lenses. We recommend using special optics cleaning fluids from
Levenhuk.
Abrasive particles, such as sand, should not be wiped off lenses, but
instead blown off or brushed away with a soft brush.
Do not apply excessive pressure when adjusting focus, diopters or
interpupillary distance.
Protect your binoculars from sudden impacts and excessive
mechanical force. This instrument may be used in high humidity
(during rain, snowfall, etc.).
Store your binoculars in a dry, cool place away from hazardous acids
and other chemicals, away from heaters, open fire and other sources
of high temperatures. Do not use your binoculars for lengthy periods
of time, or leave them unattended in direct sunlight. Always store
them in a special case.
We recommend keeping the silicate gel packet, included in the kit.
During long storage, a thin white film may appear on the rubber
armor. You can wipe it clean with a clean napkin.
When bringing your binoculars inside from the cold – or during any
drastic change of temperature, for that matter – put them in a case
and allow them to adapt to the temperature of the environment. This
prevents lenses from fogging.

International Warranty

The Vendor guarantees that the quality of the Levenhuk product
purchased complies with the technical documentation requirements
on conditions that the consumer observes rules of transportation,
storage conditions and operating instructions.

Levenhuk Ltd. warrants the product against defects in materials.
During the warranty period the Buyer can return the defect product to
the Vendor or to Levenhuk service center. Levenhuk Ltd. will repair or
replace the defect product at its own discretion.
No claims are accepted in case the properly filled warranty slip is
absent or contains corrections, or if the defect product has not been
provided by the Buyer. The manufacturer or the seller is not liable for
any damages caused by misuse of the product. No guarantee is
provided in cases the product was used for purposes other than that
intended or has mechanical damages, scratches, cracks, optics
damages, as well as in cases the product is broken-down due to
impact damages, squeezing or stretching or the product has been
disassembled or repaired by unauthorized personnel.
This warranty does not cover components and/or accessories with
limited use period, batteries, etc.

The period of warranty is 3 (three) years beginning on the date of
purchase. Please keep the warranty slip along with your receipt.

Energy PLUS vynikající volbou pro všechny, kdo rádi hodně cestují,
často vyrážejí do přírody a občas se cestou ocitnou v extrémních
situacích nebo složitých podmínkách, v nichž by obyčejný triedr prostě
nestačil. Robustní tělo tohoto triedru chrání choulostivý optický
systém uvnitř před jakýmikoli náhlými nárazy nebo vlhkostí.

Zaostřování a dioptrická korekce

Svým levým okem můžete vidět jinak než pravým, a proto může být
nutné upravit dioptrickou korekci na jednom z okulárů. Tato úprava se
provádí následujícím jednoduchým postupem:
Podívejte se triedrem na vzdálený objekt;
Zavřete pravé oko a otáčejte středovým zaostřovacím šroubem, dokud
není obraz ostrý;
Nyní zavřete levé oko a pozorujte pravým okem. Zvolna otáčejte
kroužkem dioptrické korekce na pravém okuláru, dokud není obraz
opět ostrý.

Jakmile je váš triedr takto zaostřený, budete při pozorování používat
pouze středový zaostřovací šroub.

Preventivní opatření

Nikdy, za žádných okolností se tímto triedrem nedívejte přímo do
slunce, jiného světelného zdroje nebo laseru, neboť hrozí nebezpečí
TRVALÉHO POŠKOZENÍ SÍTNICE a případně i OSLEPNUTÍ.

nezbytná preventivní opatření.
Nepokoušejte se sami triedr rozebírat. S opravami veškerého druhu se
obracejte na své místní specializované servisní středisko.

Specifikace triedru Levenhuk Energy PLUS

Výrobce si vyhrazuje právo bez předchozího upozornění měnit
sortiment a specifikace výrobků.

Péče a údržba

Nedotýkejte se povrchů optiky svými prsty. K vyčištění čoček můžete
použít měkký ubrousek nebo čistící utěrku navlhčené v éteru,
případně v čistém alkoholu. Doporučujeme používat speciální čisticí
prostředky na optiku značky Levenhuk.
Abrazivní částice, například písek, by se neměly z čoček otírat, ale
sfouknout nebo smést měkkým kartáčkem.
Při zaostřování, nastavení dioptrické korekce nebo vzdálenosti mezi
tubusy nevyvíjejte nadměrný tlak.
Triedr chraňte před prudkými nárazy a nadměrným mechanickým
namáháním. Tento přístroj lze používat v prostředí o vysoké vlhkosti
(při dešti, sněžení apod.).
Triedr ukládejte na suchém, chladném místě, mimo dosah
nebezpečných kyselin nebo jiných chemikálií, topných těles,
otevřeného ohně a jiných zdrojů vysokých teplot. Triedr příliš dlouho
nepoužívejte ani neponechávejte bez dozoru na přímém slunci. Vždy
jej ukládejte do speciálního pouzdra.
Doporučujeme, abyste si ponechali balíček se silikátovým gelem, který
je součástí soupravy.
Při delším skladování se může na pryžové ochraně objevit tenký bílý
film. Můžete jej otřít čistým ubrouskem.
Při přenášení triedru z chladu do vnitřního prostředí - případně během
výrazné změny teploty - jej uložte do pouzdra a nechejte přizpůsobit
teplotě prostředí. Předejdete tím zamlžení čoček.
