Ethernet Over VDSL2
Converter (PD)

The VDS-0130, a VDSL2 (Very high-bit-rate Digital
Subscriber Line) PoE LAN Extender, provides
a broadband transmission up to 100/60Mbps
downstream/upstream data rate over single pair
copper line for point-to-point Ethernet connectivity.
With 100/60Mbps data rate, VDS-0130 supports
transmission distance up to 300m and 30/10Mbps for
1km long range connections. Users may also select
a xed data rate or a xed SNR margin for dierent
copper line ranging.

With Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature, VDS-0130
supplies power over an Ethernet cable from a central
Ethernet Power Source Switch and works without

external power adapter. Plug-and-play features a
minimum installation time, each VDS-0130 can be
congured into either CO for central side or RT for
remote side by dip switch setting.

The VDS-0130 complies with ITU-T G.993.1 and G.993.2
to meet VDSL/VDSL2, and SG15Q4 DMT for network
requirements. A pair of VDS-0130 oers a cost eective
solution for bandwidth-hungry applications such as
LAN-to-LAN connectivity, Video Streaming, FTTB, and
MDU/MTU over single twisted pair telephone line.
