Product Introduction
The FEP-0311 series is a 2-Port Adjustable 10/100Mbps
802.3af/at Power over Ethernet + 1-port 10/100Mbps Uplink switch with a total power of 36/65/90 watts.
FEP-0311 series features IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at
High Power PoE capabilities that offer a combined power output of upto 30w over Cat.5e/6 Ethernet cable. FEP-
0311 series is flexible to adjust PoE on/off via DIP switch
on device itself. Meanwhile, the PoE output could supply 60 watts. max. to powered device when only one PoE port is enabled. Furthermore, users could also extend wire coverage up to 600 meters with PoE extender or PoE repeater in the network.
Key Features
Complies with IEEE 802.3, 10BASE-T, IEEE 802.3u, 100BASE-TX
Complies with IEEE802.3af/at Standard 3-Port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch 2-Port supports Power over Ethernet Supports PoE power up to 50 watts for each PoE port External Power 36/65/90Watts Could supply 50 watts max. PoE output when only one
PoE port is enabled
PoE on/off selectable via a DIP switch on the unit Over Current Protection / Over Temperature Protection /
Over Voltage Protection
Remote power feeding up to 100meters Could extend up to 600 meters with PoE Extender or
PoE Repeater in the network
Made of metal and desktop / wall-mount design
To avoid the potential effects on the environment and human health as a result of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, end users of electrical and electronic equipment should understand the meaning of crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Do not dispose of WEEE as unsorted municipal waste; WEEE has to be collected separately.

Hardware Installation
1. Plug the included power cord into device and the
other end into an electrical socket. The “Power” LED will be on
2. Connect other switch / PC / device to Uplink port.
Uplink” LED is on
3. Connect your IEEE802.3af/at compliant Powered
Devices (PD) to port 1 to 2 and the Switch will automatically supply power through these ports. Now, LAN and PoE” LED indicator are on.
Note: The device provides Physical DIP Switch to control PoE
on/off. When the DIP switch is set at off location, it will send data only. However, if the DIP switch is set at on location, it will deliver power and data together to PD devices. It is suggested to set DIP switch before plug-in Ethernet Cable.
4. Ensure Powered device is on. If not, please make
sure all Ethernet cables are connected correctly and tightly.
Note: The device is a power-required device, meaning it won’t work
till it is powered. If your networks should be active all the time, please consider using UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) for your device. It will prevent you from network data loss or network downtime. In some areas, installing a surge suppression device may also help to protect your FEP-0311 from being damaged by unregulated surge or current to the FEP-0311.
LED Indicators
Note: There are three different LED behaviors when FEP-0311 series connects
to PoE device or non-PoE device.
