Safety instructions

• This guillotine cutter is not a toy. Incorrect opera­tion of the appliance could lead to serious physi­cal injuries, especially of cut wounds.

• After use, do not leave the cutting edge exposed!

• Do NOT cut without using the safety guide and
NEVER cut from the righthand side of the appliance!

• DO NOT touch the cutting edge!

• Children may only use or be in close vicinity to
the guillotine cutter when under supervision!

• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with restricted physical, physio­logical or intellectual abilities or deficiences in
experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

• Always place the guillotine cutter on a firm sur­face when using it.

• Should the inertness of the guillotine cutter beco­me such that the cutting blade falls back to its
start position by itself, tighten the adjusting screw
at the pivot point of the guillotine (Offset screwdri­ver for hexagon socket screw SW 6).

• Do not cut more than the stipulated paper volume/
cutting height. Unsuitable material and exceeding
the cutting height could lead to dislocation of the
cutting head as well as damage to the cutting
blade.

• No liability will be accepted for personal injuries
resulting from improper usage.

Intended use

This guillotine cutter is intended for the cutting of paper
and transparencies. High durability and clean cuts
are to be achieved exclusively through proper
handling of the appliance and the use of suitable
materials.

1. Lift the cutting blade qup.

2. Position the item to be cut under the safety guide

3. Secure the item to be cut by pressing firmly

down on the safety guide

4. Draw and press the cutting blade

The warranty covers replacements for material or
manufacturing faults only, not for normal wearing
parts or damage to fragile parts. This product is for
private use only and is not intended for commercial
use.
The warranty becomes void in the case of abusive
and improper handling, use of force and internal
tampering not carried out by our authorized service
branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in
any way by this warranty.
