Uso previsto

La encuadernadora térmica ha sido diseñada exclu­sivamente para la encuadernación de carpetas de
encuadernación térmica para el uso doméstico privado.
No está prevista para su utilización con otros materiales.
Tampoco está prevista para su utilización en ámbitos
comerciales o industriales.
En caso de que se produzcan daños por un uso
indebido del aparato, se anularán los derechos de
garantía.

Indicaciones de seguridad

¡Peligro de lesiones!

• No permita utilizar el aparato a personas (incluidos
los niños) cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales
o mentales, así como su falta de conocimientos
o de experiencia, les impida hacer un uso seguro
del mismo si no están bajo vigilancia o han sido
instruidos correctamente acerca del uso del aparato.

• Vigile a los niños para asegurarse de que no
juegan con el aparato.

• Extraiga después de cada uso y antes de cualquier
limpieza, la clavija de red con el fin de evitar un
encendido involuntario.

• Compruebe el aparato y todas las piezas si
presentan daños visibles. Sólo en estado correcto
puede funcionar el concepto de seguridad del
aparato.

• Procure un asiento estable del aparato.

• En caso de que se caiga el aparato o esté dañado,
no deberá ponerlo de nuevo en funcionamiento.
Deje que compruebe el aparato personal especialista
cualificado y en su caso que lo repare.

Algunas partes del aparato se calientan durante
su utilización. No toque estas partes para
evitar quemaduras.

• No utilice un cable prolongador. Emplace el
aparato de modo que quede la base de enchufe
bien accesible y pueda separarlo de la red eléctrica
en caso de emergencia de inmediato.

No introduzca nunca sus manos en el canal
de encuadernación. ¡Existe peligro de que­maduras!

¡Peligro de descarga eléctrica!

• Conecte el aparato a una base de enchufe con
una tensión de red de 220-240 V ~50 Hz.

• No use el aparato con línea de conexión o clavija
de red dañada.

• En caso de una clavija de red dañada o cable
de red dañado, encomiende su sustitución a per­sonal técnico autorizado o al servicio de posventa
con el fin de evitar riesgos.

• No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua.
Límpielo sólo mediante un paño húmedo.

• No exponga el aparato a la lluvia ni lo utilice en
lugares mojados o húmedos.

• Tenga cuidado de que la línea de alimentación
no se moje o humedezca nunca durante el
funcionamiento.

• Inmediatamente después de terminar de usar el
aparato, desconéctelo de la red eléctrica.
Sólo totalmente libre de corriente.

• Queda prohibido abrir la carcasa del aparato
o intentar repararlo. En este caso no estará protegido
y perderá el derecho a la garantía.

¡Riesgo de incendio!

• No utilice nunca el aparato en la proximidad de
superficies calientes.

• No coloque el aparato en lugares donde quede
expuesto directamente a la radiación solar.
En caso contrario se podría sobrecalentar y dañarse
de modo irreparable.

• No deje nunca el aparato desatendido durante
su funcionamiento.

• No utilice ningún tipo de temporizador externo
o un sistema de control remoto para accionar el
aparato.

¡Precaución daños materiales!

• No encuaderne en caliente, en general, ningún
material inflamable, sensible al calor y / o que
se pueda derretir, y tampoco ningún dibujo en
papel sensible al calor o materiales cuyo color
o calidad pueda cambiar por efecto del calor.

• En principio, no encuaderne ningún documento
único y valioso. Aunque la encuadernadora térmica
cumple con todas las normas y estándares de
seguridad normales, nunca pueden excluirse
completamente fallos en el funcionamiento, al
igual que en cualquier otro aparato eléctrico.
Los fallos en el funcionamiento del aparato pueden
ocasionar daños en los documentos que se están
uniendo térmicamente.

Manejo

Advertencia:

Al utilizarlo por primera vez puede formarse un ligero
olor debido a los residuos condicionados por la
fabricación (incluso la formación de ligero humo).
Esto es normal y cesa al poco tiempo. Procure que
haya suficiente ventilación. Abra por ejemplo una
ventana.

1. Procure que el aparato se encuentre en una

posición estable.

2. Levante el estribo de sujeción 8 hacia arriba
hasta que encastre y extraiga el soporte de
documentos 2.

3. Introduzca la clavija de red en una base de en­chufe.

4. Encienda el aparato accionando el interruptor
ON / Off 4. El piloto rojo 7 se ilumina.

• Al momento que se ilumina el piloto verde 6,
es indicio de que el aparato ha alcanzado la
temperatura de servicio. Ademas suena una señal
acústica.

5. Seleccione para su documento la carpeta de
encuadernación térmica adecuada:

10. Al momento que suena una señal acústica y el
piloto 6 se ilumina de modo constante,
podrá retirar la carpeta de encuadernación
térmica del canal térmico 1. Coloquelo sobre
el soporte de documento 2, de modo que
pueda endurecerse el adhesivo. La unión
termoadhesiva se ha endurecido transcurrido
unos 60 segundos apróx..

11. Coloque después de su uso el interruptor
ON/OFF 4 en O y extraiga la clavija de
red de la base de enchufe.

Advertencia:

Si realiza la unión termoadhesiva de documentos
gruesos con un lomo de unión de 20 mm (para
200 hojas), repita el proceso de encuadernación
unas 5 veces apróx.

6. Golpee las hojas un par de veces de modo que
todas las hojas del documento se cubran correc­tamente.

7. Inserte las hojas en la carpeta de encuadernación
térmica adecuada, golpee estas en el lomo una
o dos veces.

8. Deslice la carpeta de encuadernación térmica
a través del estribo de sujeción 8 en el canal
térmico 1, hasta que toque el lomo de la carpeta
la placa calefactora en el fondo del canal térmico 1.

9. Pulse la tecla START 5. El piloto 7 se ilumina,
el piloto 6 parpadea.

Cuidado y limpieza

Peligro de muerte por descarga
eléctrica:

• ¡Antes de limpiar el aparato extraiga la clavija
de red de la base de enchufe!

• No abra la carcasa del aparato bajo ninguna
circunstancia. No existen elementos de mando
dentro.

• ¡No sumerja nunca las piezas del aparato en
agua ni en otros líquidos!

➩ Deje que el aparato se enfríe completamente.
➩ Limpie la superficie de la carcasa con un paño

de limpieza ligeramente humedecido.

➩ Tenga cuidado de que no penetre humedad

en el interior del aparato.

Evacuación

Garantía y asistencia técnica

En ningún caso deberá tirar el aparato
a la basura doméstica. Este producto
está sujeto a la directiva europea
2002/96/EC.

Evacue el aparato en un centro de evacuación
autorizado a través de las instalaciones de evacuación
comunitarias.
Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales en vigor.
En caso de dudas póngase en contacto con su centro
de evacuación.

El material de embalaje debe desecharse
de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente.

It is NOT intended for use with any other materials.
It is also NOT intended for commercial or industrial
applications.
The warranty does not provide compensation for

Injury hazard

• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with restricted physical, physio­logical or intellectual abilities or deficiences in
experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.

• Unplug the power cable after every use and before
cleaning, so as to prevent the appliance from
switching itself on inadvertently.

• Check the appliance and all parts for visible
damages. The safety concept can work only if
the appliance is in a faultless condition.

• Ensure that the appliance stands at a safe and
secure positioning.

• Do not operate the appliance if it has sustained
a fall or is damaged. Arrange for the appliance
to be checked and, if necessary, repaired by
qualified technicians.

Some parts of the appliance become very
hot during operation. To avoid burns, do

• Do not use an extension cable. Place the appliance
where the power wall socket is easily accessible,
so that in the event of an emergency the plug can
be quickly withdrawn.

Never insert your hands into the binding
shaft. There is a risk of being burnt!

Risk of electric shocks.

• Connect the appliance to a mains power socket
supplying a voltage of 220 - 240 V ~/50 Hz.

• Do not operate the appliance if the power cable
or power plug is damaged.

• Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables
to be replaced at once by qualified technicians
or our Customer Service Department.

• Never immerse the appliance in water.
Just wipe it with a damp cloth.

• Do not expose the appliance to rain and never
use it in a humid or wet environment.

• Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet
during operation.

• Unplug the appliance immediately after use.
The appliance is free of electricity only when you
remove the power plug from the power socket.

• Do not open the casing or attempt to repair the
appliance yourself. Should you do so, appliance
safety can no longer be assured and the warranty
will become void.

Risk of fire!

• Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of hot
surfaces.

• Do not place the appliance in locations exposed
to direct sunlight.
If you do, this could lead to overheating and
cause irreparable damage.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in
use.

• Do not use an external timing switch or a separate
remote control system to operate the appliance.

Caution - property damage!

• Never attempt to bind flammable, heat-sensitive
and/or meltable materials and do not bind
drawings made on temperature-sensitive paper
or material that could undergo changes in colour
or quality when subjected to heat.

• Fundamentally, never bind valuable or unique
documents. Although this thermal binder satisfies
all relevant safety norms and standards, functional
errors can never be completely discounted - as
with all electrical appliances. Functional errors
with the appliance could cause damage to the
documents being bound.

Operation

Note:

On this first use the development of a light odour
may occur, caused by production residues (a slight
smoke development is also possible). This is normal
and dissipates after a short time. Provide for sufficient
ventilation. Open a window, for example.

1. Ensure the appliance has a stable positioning.

2. Fold the retainer bracket 8 upwards, until it

engages, and draw the document holder 2 out.

3. Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

4. Switch the appliance on by pressing the ON / OFF
switch 4. The red control lamp 7 glows.

• As soon as the green control lamp 6
glows the appliance has reached its operating
temperature. Additionally, an acoustic signal
sounds.

5. Select a suitable thermal binder cover for your
document:

10. As soon as an acoustic signal sounds and the
control lamp 6 glows constantly you
can remove the thermally bound brochure from
the binding shaft 1. Place it in the document
holder 2 so that the adhesive can harden.
The binding is sufficiently hardened after approx.
60 seconds.

11. After use, place the ON/OFF switch 4 at O and
remove the plug from the mains power socket.

Note:

If you are binding particularly thick documents, with
a spine width of 20 mm (200 sheeds), then repe­at the binding process approx. 5 times.

Cleaning and care

6. Tap the sides of the sheaf of papers a few times
to ensure that ALL of the sheets are lying exactly
above each other.

7. Lay the sheets into a suitable thermal binder cover
and then tap them down a couple of times,
against and using the cover spine.

8. Slide the thermal binder brochure through the re­teainer bracket 8 into the binding shaft 1 such
that the spine of the brochure makes firm contact
with the hotplate on the floor of the thermal
shaft 1.

9. Press the START 5 button. The control lamp 7
glows, the control lamp 6 blinks.

Risk of potentially fatal electrical
shock:

• Always remove the plug from the mains power
socket before you clean the appliance!

• Never open the housing of the appliance.
There are no user-serviceable elements inside.

• Never submerse the appliance into water or
other liquids!

➩ Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
➩ Clean the surface of the housing with a slightly

damp wash cloth.

➩ Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the

appliance.

Disposal

Warranty and Service

Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved dispo­sal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal
centre.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Das Thermobindegerät ist ausschließlich zum Bin­den von Thermobindemappen in privaten Haushal­ten bestimmt.
Es ist nicht zur Verwendung mit anderen Materialien
bestimmt. Es ist ebenfalls nicht zur Verwendung in
gewerblichen oder industriellen Bereichen vorgese­hen.
Für Schäden, die aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßem
Gebrauch des Gerätes resultieren, wird keine Ge­währleistung übernommen!

Gefahr durch elektrischen Schlag!

• Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine Netzsteckdose
mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~/
50 Hz an.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit beschädigter
Anschlussleitung oder Netzstecker.

• Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzka­bel sofort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder
dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdun­gen zu vermeiden.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser ein.
Wischen Sie es nur mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht dem Regen aus und
benutzen Sie es auch niemals in feuchter oder
nasser Umgebung.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung
während des Betriebs niemals nass oder feucht
wird.

• Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach Gebrauch
vom Stromnetz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist das Gerät
völlig stromfrei.

• Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öffnen oder
reparieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht
gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt.

Brandgefahr!

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
heißen Oberflächen.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten auf, die
direkter Sonnenstrahlung ausgesetzt sind.
Anderenfalls kann es überhitzen und irreparabel
beschädigt werden.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs nie­mals unbeaufsichtigt.

• Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein
separates Fernwirksystem um das Gerät zu betrei­ben.

Vorsicht Sachschäden!

• Binden Sie grundsätzlich keine entzündlichen, hit­zeempfindlichen und/ oder schmelzbaren Mate­rialien und keine Zeichnungen auf wärmeemp­findlichem Papier bzw. Material, dessen Farbe
bzw. Qualität sich durch Hitzeeinwirkung verän­dert.

• Binden Sie grundsätzlich keine wertvollen,
einzigartigen Dokumente. Obwohl das Thermo­bindegerät allen gängigen Sicherheitsnormen/

-standards entspricht, können Fehlfunktionen –
wie bei allen Elektrogeräten – niemals völlig aus­geschlossen werden. Fehlfunktionen des Gerätes
können zu Beschädigungen am zu bindenden
Dokument führen.

Bedienen

Hinweis:

Beim ersten Gebrauch kann durch fertigungsbe­dingte Rückstände ein leichter Geruch entstehen
(auch geringe Rauchentwicklung möglich). Dieser
ist normal und verliert sich nach kurzer Zeit. Sorgen
Sie bitte für ausreichende Entlüftung. Öffnen Sie z.B.
ein Fenster.

1. Sorgen Sie für einen festen Stand des Gerätes.

2. Klappen Sie den Haltebügel 8 nach oben, bis

er einrastet und ziehen Sie die Dokumentenabla­ge 2 heraus.

3. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netz­steckdose ein.

4. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den EIN­/ AUS-Schalter 4 betätigen. Die rote Kontroll­leuchte 7 leuchtet.

5. Wählen Sie eine passende Thermobindemappe
für Ihr Dokument aus:

10. Sobald ein akustisches Signal ertönt und die
Kontrollleuchte 6 konstant leuchtet, kön­nen Sie die Thermobindemappe aus dem Bin­deschacht 1 entfernen. Stellen Sie sie in die
Dokumentenablage 2, damit der Kleber aus-
härten kann. Die Bindung ist nach ca. 60 Se­kunden ausgehärtet.

11. Stellen nach dem Gebrauch den EIN-/AUS­schalter 4 auf O und ziehen Sie den Netz­stecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Hinweis:

Wenn Sie besonders dicke Dokumente binden, ab
einem Binderücken von 20 mm (200 Blatt), dann
wiederholen Sie den Bindevorgang ca. 5 mal.

Reinigen und Pflegen

6. Stoßen Sie die Blätter ein paar mal auf, so dass
alle Blätter des Dokumentes genau übereinander
liegen.

7. Legen Sie die Blätter in die passende Thermobin­demappe und stoßen Sie diese mit dem Rücken
ein bis zweimal auf.

8. Schieben Sie die Thermobindemappe durch den
Haltebügel 8 in den Bindeschacht 1, bis der
Mappenrücken die Heizplatte am Boden des
Bindeschachtes 1 berührt.

9. Drücken Sie die Taste START 5. Die Kontroll-
leuchte 7 leuchtet, die Kontrollleuchte
6 blinkt.

• Ziehen Sie immer bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen
den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose!

• Öffnen Sie niemals das Gehäuse des Gerätes.
Es befinden sich keinerlei Bedienelemente darin.

• Tauchen Sie die Geräteteile niemals in
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten!

➩ Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
➩ Reinigen Sie die Gehäuseoberfläche mit einem

leicht angefeuchteten Spültuch.

➩ Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Feuchtigkeit ins
