The increasing use of LED based xtures for theatrical and
entertainment lighting requires new techniques for delivering data
and power to the xtures. Leprecon “Watson” Power Management
provides a simple and compact solution for installing electronic
xtures.
Watson provides AC power switching and DMX buffering for groups
of LED xtures. Using one DMX control channel or simply sensing
DMX data, Watson turns xtures off when they are not in use, saving
power, extending xture life and isolating expensive electronics from
power line glitches. An additional isolated DMX output adds extra
DMX capacity, and adds a rewall between xtures and the rest of
the control system.
Available in three different form factors, Watson can be mounted near
the xtures using pipe clamps or threaded rod brackets. A complete
raceway system is available that includes mounting for standard
schedule 40 pipe.
