Your clock will require winding every 8 days. Use the longer end of the key to wind the movement (1). Ensure this is fully wound. The alarm should be wound before each use.

REPEATER
If you have a clock with a repeater, depressing the small button located on the top of the clock will make it strike the last full hour.
SETTING THE ALARM
Use the smaller end of the key and turn the alarm setter (3) in the direction of arrow. This will move the small hand found in the lower central part of the clock dial, and indicate the alarm time set.
SETTING THE CALENDAR
If your clock is fitted with a calendar mechanism, the setting must be done when the clock is being wound or after it has stopped, either before 8pm or after 2 am. Use the smaller end of the key and fit it onto the calendar adjuster (7). Turn the key slowly clockwise. The hand of the weekly indicator on the left side of the dial will move up to the desired day. Then, with the key still in position, slowly turn the key anti-clockwise, and the hand of the daily indicator on the right side of dial will move up to desired date. The calendar must be reset for months with 28, 29, 30 days.
MOONPHASE INDICATOR
If your clock is fitted with moonphases, the settting must be made after setting the time and calendar. Use the smaller end of the key and fit it onto the moonphase adjuster (8). Turn slowly clockwise to move the moon forward to the right position. If you have moved too far you can turn the key anti-clockwise. Refer to a diary to know the exact position of the moon.

If your clock is fitted with a musical mechanism, use the smaller end of the key to wind under the base of the clock and turn the key only in the direction of arrow. Music will play at the time indicated by the alarm hand. Setting the alarm remains unchanged.
CARE OF CLOCK
