Where to use your Pump
Correct use:
The pump is intended for private use around the house and garden. It is primarily intended for drainage purposes if flooding occurs but also for transferring water to and from tanks and pumping them out, for drawing water from wells and shafts, for draining boats and yachts and for aerating and circulating water for limited periods.
Liquid conveyed:
The pump is suitable for conveying:
Submersible pump for clean water: clean to slightly dirty water with a max.
particle size of 5 mm.
Submersible pump for dirty water: dirty water with a max. particle size of 35 mm.
The pump can be fully submerged (watertight encapsulation) and can be lowered down to a depth of 7m into the water.
The pump must not be installed in swimming pools; it must be installed and used in accordance with National installation rules.
The pump is not intended for long term use (e. g. use for continuous circulation) in a pond. The length of life of the pump will be shortened accordingly if used in this way.
Corrosive (chemicals, cleaning fluids etc...), flammable or explosive substances (e.g. petrol, paraffin, cellulose thinners); grease, oil, salt water and sewage must not be conveyed by the pump.
The PH of water must between 6.5 and 8.5. Pollution of the liquid could occur due to leakage of lubricants.
The temperature of the liquid conveyed may not exceed 35 °C.
Do not expose the plug to damp. Protect plug and power cable away from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
Do not expose the pump to frost.
Do not run the pump without water.
Safety Instructions
Before starting up the pump make sure that:
• The pump must not be used when people are in the water.
• Make sure that the electrical plug and socket connections are fitted in an area which
cannot flood. And protect power plug from moisture.
• Check out if there is any damage to the pump, especially to the cable and plug. A damaged pump mustn’t be used any way.
• The pump must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
The mains supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on the pump identification
plate.

Attention to your operating:
Never carry the pump by its cable and do not pull the cable to disconnect it. For
submerging, lifting or securing the pump, fix a rope to the pump^ carrying handle is the correct choice.
Do not pull out the power cable from the socket as a method of turning the pump off.
Check out if the outlet and the inlet of the pump clog. Clear the outlet and the inlet when need.
Automatic protection for safety:
Thermal motor protector: The pump is automatically switched
off on overheating by the built-in thermal motor protector. After having cooled down, the motor automatically switches on again.
Automatic Air bleed valve: The
automatic air bleed valve eliminates any air pockets in the pump.
During this process, air escapes through the plastic plug on the pump and air bubbles appear underwater. This is not a defect of your pump, but serves to deaerate the pump, but serves to remove air from the pump. It may take several seconds for the air to escape when the pump is immersed for the first time.
Note: The position of vent hole may be different in some models.
Main power cables must not have a smaller cross-section than the rubber-sheathed cables of the designation H05RN-F while the pump without power cable lighter than 5 kg and the designation H07RN-F while the pump without power cable heavier than 5 kg. The cable length must be at least 10m.
Operation
Automatic operation of the float switch:
The float switch 4 turns the pump on automatically when the water level exceeds the cut-in height and the water is pumped out. The float switch 4 turns the pump off again as soon as the water level falls below the cut-out hight.
(1) Stand the pump on a firm surface or use a rope attached through the bore hole in
the carrying handle 6 to immerse the pump in a well or shaft.
(2) During automatic operation, ensure that the float switch 4 can move freely.
Plug the power cable 3 into a mains socket.
Adjusting the Cut-in and Cut-out Height: Push the cable of the float switch 4 into the float switch lock 5.
Do not select a cable length that is too long or short to ensure that the float switch 4 can turn on and off properly.
The cable length between the float switch 4 and the float switch lock 5 must always be at least 10 cm.
Acquaer Ltd. H-4900, Fehérgyarmat, Szatmári út 11.
• The shorter the length of cable between the float switch 4 and the float switch lock 5,
the lower the cut-in height and the higher the cut-out height.
Manual operation of the float switch:
The pump can remain constantly in operation because it is switched on manually by raising the float switch 4 as showed on the left.
(1) Stand the pump on a firm surface or use a rope attached through the bore hole in
the carrying handle 6 to immerse the pump in a well or shaft.
(2) Plug the power cable 3 into a mains socket.
left drawing, with the side of cable at the bottom. As long as the float switch is positioned vertically with the cable at the bottom, the pump will operate regardless of the water level.
Storage:
Clean and store the pump in a frost-free place before the first frost arrives.

The intake filter is
clogged. Pumping flow rate falls because the pump is clogged with water impurities
Clean the filter. Clean the pump and its environment.
The pump stops after working for a short time.
Dirty particles are jammed
in the suction base. The heat protector stops
the pump due to
overheating. The heat protector stops the pump due to clogging.
