Works with your central heating and cooling system to enhance the air throughout your home
There may be a problem lurking inside your home. According to the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency, the air in your home could be up to five
times more polluted than the air outside.** That’s no small matter, because
poor indoor air quality can cause or aggravate allergies, asthma and other
health problems. There is a solution, and Healthy Climate® germicidal lamps
can play an important role.
A SOLUTION FOR GREATER PEACE OF MIND
Germicidal lamps work alongside other Healthy Climate products to reduce
pollutants in the air throughout your home. They use intense rays of ultraviolet
light to control and kill contaminants like mold and bacteria that grow on
surfaces inside your home’s HVAC system.*** Healthy Climate germicidal lamps
deliver the maximum amount of microbe-killing ultraviolet energy for highly
effective surface disinfection. The light intensity is up to seven times more
powerful than competitors’ units.

The UV-500 Germicidal Lamp is effective in any home with up to five tons of heating and cooling power. For maximum performance, use models UV-1000 and UV-2000, which are equipped with an electronic ballast for better conversion efficiency and have a higher bulb intensity for enhanced disinfection. Also, an optional odor-control lamp results in a reduction of odor levels.
