BATTER Y INST ALLATION
1. Press BATTERY DOOR and slide it out.
2. Insert 3 size “AA” alkaline batteries.
3. We recommend alkaline batteries for longer life.
4. Close the BATTERY DOOR. Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc) or rechargeable
(Nickel - Cadmium) batteries.

BATTER Y REPLACEMENT
Exhausted batteries may leak and damage the set, or cause weak or distorted reception. Replace batteries when required. When the set is not to be used for an extended period, remove the batteries from the radio.
RADIO OPERATION
AM broadcast band:
1. Slide the BAND switch to AM position.
2. Rotate the VOLUME control downwards past click, the set will turn on. T o
turn the set off, rotate the VOLUME control upwards until past click.
3. Tune the set to the desired station by rotating the TUNING control.
4. Best reception can be received by carefully tuning the set and rotating
the set slightly.
FM broadcast band:
1. Slide the BAND switch to FM position.
2. Follow above points 2 and 3.
3. Your set is equipped with a TELESCOPING FM ANTENNA. For best
results, fully extend the TELESCOPING FM ANTENNA.
ANTENNAS
Your new radio is equipped with a built-in ferrite rod antenna for use on the AM BAND, plus a TELESCOPING ANTENNA for FM reception. Since all transistor radios are slightly directional, it is desirable to rotate the radio to obtain the best reception.

FOR PRIVATE LISTENING
You may plug the headphones into the HEADPHONE jack on the top of the radio. The built-in speaker will automatically be disconnected.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This set works best outdoors or in buildings without steel frames. Metallic
objects block radio waves. The use of this headphones radio while driving a car or cycling is not
advised as the headphones could block out surrounding sounds resulting in a possible traffic accident. For safety, do not use loud volume with headphones.

We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under
LIMITED WARRANTY
normal use for a period of 1 year after purchase, and we will repair it free of charge or replace it at no charge, should it become defective under this warranty, providing you submit proof of purchase (sales slip) with the set.
During the initial 1 year period after original purchase, we will service the set that is returned to LENOXX ELECTRONICS CORP ., prepaid, at no charge. After the initial 1 year period expires, we will exchange, at no charge, any part that is defective, but will charge for the cost of labor, return postage paid by LENOXX.
This warranty does not apply to any products which have been subject to misuse, neglect or accident. This warranty does not cover broken cords or cabinet. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL LENOXX ELECTRONICS CORP. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The following charges apply to repairs beyond the warranty period: $2.00.
