QUICK INSTRUCTIONS

MODEL CD-625

POWERING UP

Power this CD player by connecting an optional (not included) AC ADAPTOR or by inserting 2 size AA fresh alkaline batteries.

NOTE: Before you buy an AC Adaptor, please note the only AC ADAPTOR suitable for

this player is DC 4.5V 600mA, with polarity , others may damage this player. Please check voltage and current (mA) before buying an AC ADAPTOR.

BATTERY OPERATION

1. Open the BATTERY DOOR.

2. Insert 2 size AA fresh alkaline batteries as shown. NOTE: Player will not work, and batteries will be

drained, if not inserted as shown on the bottom of the set.

NOTE: If the symbol   shows in the display,

your batteries are weak and need replacement.

3. Close the BATTERY DOOR.

PLUGGING IN

Plug the headphones into the PHONES JACK on the left side of the player, and put on the headphones.

Adjust this VOLUME control to your preference.

BASS BOOST

Slide this switch to ON to give you more low frequency tones.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Slide the CD/OFF/RADIO FUNCTION switch to the RADIO position, the POWER

ON indicator will be turned on.

2. Slide the AM/FM/FM STEREO BAND switch to select the desired wave band.

3. Tune to the desired station by rotating the TUNING control.

4. If you tune into an FM stereo station, FM STEREO indicator will light.

5. To turn off the radio, slide the CD/OFF/RADIO FUNCTION switch to CD or OFF

position.

BASIC FEATURES

PLAYING A DISC

You can play compact discs that have this logo:

1. Slide the CD/OFF/RADIO FUNCTION switch to the CD position.

2. Slide the CD DOOR OPEN button to open CD DOOR.

3. Place a disc on the center post with the label side facing up, and then gently push down on the center of the disc until it clicks in.

4. Close the CD DOOR, press the PLAY button, the POWER ON indicator will be turned on and the set starts playing.

PAUSE

Pressing PLAY/PAUSE button while a disc is playing will pause play (the playing time of the current track will flash). Press PLAY/PAUSE again to continue play.

STOP AND POWER OFF

Press the STOP button once to stop play, and the set will turn itself off automatically after 30 seconds. To shut off the power immediately, press the STOP button twice or slide the CD/OFF/ RADIO FUNCTION switch to OFF position.

REPEAT

During play, press the REPEAT button once,  song currently playing will play and repeat again and again till you press STOP button.

To repeat all songs, press the REPEAT button twice.  display. All songs will play and then repeat, press the STOP button to quit repeat play.

During play, press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons playing to search backward or forward through a particular track (or song).

Press several times to skip to a later or earlier song, or to get back to the beginning of the song.

PROGRAMMING

To arrange the songs to play in a special sequence (1, 5, 2, 3, etc.), you can program the set to your taste.

Press the PROGRAM button, then press either SKIP button ( or ) to select the track you want. Repeat pressing PROGRAM button and SKIP button ( or ) till you finish programming, then press PLAY button. The set will play the songs in the order that you programmed.
