Recovery solutions

Windows® recovery discs are not provided with your computer. Instead, the Microsoft® Windows operating system provides everything needed to recover from most software-based conditions that could prevent your computer from functioning correctly. As an added level of security and to help you recover from more extreme problems, create your own recovery media as soon as possible using the Windows “Create Recovery Media” function. Keep your recovery media in a safe place in case you need to recover from severe data corruption or a hard-disk failure. For details, see “Recovery overview” in the electronic User Guide.
