Your device has a headphone connector. Always use the headphone connector for headphones (also called a headset) or earphones.
CAUTION:
Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. Adjustment of the equalizer to maximum increases the earphone and headphone output vo ltage a nd the sou nd press ure level . Therefo re, to protec t your hea ring, adj ust the equa lizer to an a ppropr iate leve l. Excessive use of headphones or earphones for a long period of time at high volume can be dangerous if the output of the headphone or earphone connectors do not comply with specications of EN 50332-2. The headphone output connector of your device complies with EN 50332-2 Sub clause 7. This sp ecic ation lim its the de vice's max imum wi de band tr ue RMS output voltag e to 150 mV. To help prote ct again st hear ing loss , ensure th at the hea dphon es or earph ones you u se also co mply wi th EN 50332-2 (Cla use 7 lim its) for a wid e band characteristic voltage of 75 mV. Using headphones that do not comply with EN
50332-2 can b e danger ous due to exc essive s ound pre ssure l evels. If your dev ice cam e with hea dphon es or ear phone s in the pack age, as a se t, the combination of the headphones or earphones and the device already complies with the specications of EN 50332-1. If different headphones or earphones are used, ensure that they comply with EN 50332-1 (Clause 6.5 Limitation Values). Using headph ones th at do not com ply with E N 50332-1 can be dan gerous d ue to exces sive sound pressure levels.
