Owner’s manual

Thank you for purchasing the PowerPort Duo. Take the compact, lightweight PowerPort with you
wherever you go and have a handy charger or rescue battery that works anywhere! PowerPort charges
your PDA, mobile phone, MP3 player, game system, or almost any device that can be charged via a USB
cable connection.

Included in the package you have purchased:
Portable Battery & Charger, USB charging cable, User manual

Note: PowerPort Duo must be charged prior to rst use. It may become warm during charging and use.

Charging your PowerPort Duo

You can charge the PowerPort Duo with the included Mini USB to USB
cable. Just plug the Mini USB into the case, and the other end into your
computer’s USB port, a USB wall plug style adapter, or a USB DC car
adapter.

The LED status indicators show the current charging status of the
PowerPort Duo. The LEDs will blink and become steady as it charges,
from left to right the 1st LED, 2nd LED, and nally the 3rd LED. Once the
3rd LED has become steady, the charging process has nished.

On/Off Button

With the built in “ON / OFF” button you have the option of using the PowerPort Duo
when you need it.

When you need an extra charge in your phone, just push the button to turn “ON”

When you are ready to turn it “OFF” just push the button again and the
PowerPort Duo will shut “OFF.”

Connecting the PowerPort Duo to your Device

Attach your device using its USB charging cable to the PowerPort Duo.
Once attached via its USB cable, push the “On/O” button once to turn it
on. Depending on the device it will now either power on or start to charge.

Note: For devices that require over 500mA and up to 1.0A, use the USB
Port 1, and for those devices that require 500mA and below use Port 2.

Checking remaining capacity of the case

The integrated LED status indicator tells you exactly how much battery
power is left in your PowerPort Duo, simply press the “ON / OFF” button. The
1st LED will indicate 30% or less charge remaining, the 2nd LED will indicate
between 30 – 70% charge remaining, and the 3rd LED will indicate 70 -100%
charge remaining.

Once you are nished, simply press the “ON / OFF” button again to turn it “OFF.”

Caution

- Do not overcharge the PowerPort. This will shorten the life span of the device.

- Disconnect the PowerPort as soon as it is practical after the charge is complete.

- Recycle or dispose of PowerPort properly. If disposed of in re or short–circuited, PowerPort may leak or
explode, causing personal injury.

- When not in use, unplug the PowerPort from all cables and devices.

- Do not drop.

Include $15.00 for ship to address in Hawaii, Alaska or Canada.

Mode d'emploi

Merci d'avoir acheté le PowerPort Duo. Apportez le Power Port de faible poids avec vous partout où vous
allez pour avoir sous la main un chargeur ou une pile de secours! Le PowerPort recharge les ANP,
téléphones cellulaires, lecteurs MP3, consoles de jeux et pratiquement tout dispositif qui peut être
chargé via un port USB.

Remarque : le PowerPort Duo doit être chargé avant l'utilisation. Il peut devenir chaud pendant
la recharge et l'utilisation.

Charge du PowerPort Duo

Vous pouvez recharger le PowerPort Duo à l'aide du câble mini USB à
USB fourni. Il sut de brancher la che mini USB dans le boîtier et l'autre
extrémité dans le port USB d'un ordinateur, dans la che USB d'un
adaptateur mural ou dans un adaptateur CC avec port USB de voiture.

Les DEL d'état indiquent le niveau de charge du PowerPort Duo. Les DEL
clignoteront et demeureront allumées pour indiquer la progression en
commençant par la première à gauche jusqu'à la troisième à droite. La
recharge est complète lorsque la troisième DEL reste allumée.

Bouton marche/arrêt

Le bouton marche/arrêt vous permet d'utiliser le PowerPort Duo
lorsque vous en avez besoin.

Lorsque le téléphone a besoin d'une charge supplémentaire, appuyez
sur le bouton ON (marche).

Lorsque vous désirez l'arrêter, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton et le
PowerPort Duo s'éteindra.

Connexion du PowerPort Duo au dispositif

Raccordez votre appareil au PowerPort Duo à l'aide de son câble USB.
Lorsque le câble USB est branché, appuyez une fois sur le bouton de
marche/arrêt pour le mettre en marche. Selon l'appareil, il fournira de la
puissance ou commencera à charger.

Remarque : dans le cas des dispositifs requérant plus de 500 mA et
moins de 1 A, utilisez le port 1; dans le cas des dispositifs requérant 500
mA ou moins, utilisez le port 2.

Vérification de la puissance restante du bloc-pile

Les DEL d’état intégrées indiquent exactement la puissance restante dans le
PowerPort Duo; appuyez simplement sur le bouton marche/arrêt. La
première DEL indique une puissance restante de 30 % ou moins, la deuxième
indique une puissance restante entre 30 et 70 % et la troisième indique une
puissance restante entre 70 et 100 % de la capacité.

Lorsque vous avez terminé, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton
marche/arrêt pour l'éteindre.

Mise en garde

- Ne pas charger le PowerPort au-delà de sa capacité. Cela réduirait la durée de ce dispositif.

- Débranchez le PowerPort aussitôt que possible lorsque la charge est terminée.

- Recyclez ou débarrassez-vous du PowerPort d'une manière appropriée.
Le PowerPort peut couler ou exploser et causer des blessures si on le jette au feu ou on le court-circuite.

- Débranchez tous les câbles et appareils du PowerPort s'il n'est pas utilisé.

- Ne pas le laisser tomber.
