Keep these instructions in mind:

 Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times

before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems may occur, as with all
electrical appliances. If you notice smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or any other
unexpected phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket
immediately.

 Do not use this device near water.
 Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.
 Do not cover or bloc k any v ent i latio n o peni ng. When placing the device on a s helf , le av e

5 cm (2”) free space around the whole device.

 Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
 Don’t step on or pinch the power cord. Be very careful, particularly near the plugs and

the cable’s exit point. Do not place heav y ite ms on th e power cord, which may damag e it .
Keep the entire device out of children’s reach! When playing with the power cable, they
can seriously injure themselves.

 Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.
 Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, h eat er s, stov es, can dle s

and other heat-generating products.

 Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.
 ESD can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and restart the device

following the instruction manual. During file transmission, please handle with care and
operate in a static-free environment.

 Never insert an object into t he produ ct thro ugh the v ent s or o penings. Hi gh v olta ge flow s

thru the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or short circuit
internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.

 Do NOT use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near

swimming pools.

 Do not use this device when condensation may occur.

 This device must operate on a power source as specified on the specification label. If

you are not sure of the type of power supply used in your home, consult your dealer or
local power company.

 The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible.
 Do not overload AC outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause fire or electric

shock.

 Devices with Class 1 construction should be connected to a main socket outlet with a

protective earthed connection.

 Devices with Class 2 construction do not require a earthed connection.
 Keep away from rodents. Rodents enjoy biting on power cords.
 Always hold the plug when pulling it out of the ma in supply socket . Do not pull the pow er

cord. This can cause a short circuit.

 Avoid placing the device on any surfaces that may be subject to vibrations or shocks.
 When the device is not in use for long periods, unplug the AC power cable for safety

reasons.

 To clean the device, use a soft dry cloth. Do NOT use solvents or petrol based fluids. To

remove severe stains, you may use a damp cloth with dilute detergent.

 The supplier is not responsible for damage or lost data caused by malfunction, misuse,

modification of the device or battery replacement.

 The marking plate is located at the bottom of the apparatus.

WARNING: Prolonged exposure to loud sounds from personal music players
may lead to temporary or permanent hearing loss.

The USB memory stick should be plugged into the unit directly. Don’t use an
USB extension cable because it can cause interference resulting in failing of
data.

POWER SUPPLY

 BATTERY OPERATION

1. Remove the battery compartment cover gently.

2. Install 6 x 'C' size batteries (UM-2 or equivalent) while observing the correct polarities.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

NOTE:

 The AC/DC adapter must be detached from the DC IN jack of the player for battery

operation.

 Leaking batteries may damage the battery cabinet and the player as a whole, so they

should be removed from the cabinet when becoming flat or when the player is not to be
played on batteries for some time.

 DC INPUT OPER ATION

Plug the supplied adapter to the DC IN jack on the unit and the main power.

NOTE:

If not any audio signal inputs to the unit in about one hour, the unit will enter to standby
mode automatically (except at FM radio mode).

FM RADIO
TUNING THE FM RADIO

1. The standby indicator will light once connect the main unit to the main power. Press the
ON/STANDBY button to turn the unit on (the standby indicator will be off).

2. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to switch the unit to radio mode if necessary.

3. To launch the auto-searching, press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH DOWN button or
SKIP/SEARCH UP button several seconds and then release it.

4. Press the SKIP/SEARCH DOWN button or SKIP/SEARCH UP button to tune the radio
stations manually.

5. Adjust the volume level to a comfortable li sten ing lev el via pressing the VOLUME +/­buttons.

6. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn off the unit.

NOTE:

 The FM telescopic antenna is directional. When you are receiving an FM broadcast, fully

extend the telescopic antenna and rotate it for the best reception.

STORING YOUR FAVORITE RADIO STATION

1. Tune to your favorite station first; press the MEM/MODE/PROG button for storing the
current station until memory cell number flashes on the screen.

2. Use the STOP/CH- button or the PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ button to select the corresponding
memory cell among P01-P20.

3. Confirm your selection by pressing the MEM/MODE/PROG button.

4. During radio playback, press the STOP/CH- button or the PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ button
repeatedly to recall the preset stat ion s.

HANDLING AND MAINTENANCE OF A DISC

HANDLE DISC ONLY AS SHOWN

CLEAN FROM CENTER TO EDGE

Follow the instructions below to handle and maintain your disc in
order that long time and trouble free performance can possibly be
obtained:

 Ensure not to caress the rain bow side of the disc; handle the

disc by the edge.

 Long time exposure to sunshine, high temperatures and

humidity will damage the disc. And keep storage area clean.

 Avoid sticking labels on both sides of a disc. Writing with

pointed articles on the disc should be strictly avoid ed.

 Clean the disc wiping the centre and then working out to the

edge with a dry & soft cloth or a disc brush. Avoid any
cleansing lotion or chemical eradicator.

 Store them in their cases when they are not to be used.

DO NOT STORE NEAR HEAT

LOAD A DISC

1. Open the CD door by the Door open area.

2. Load a disc on the disc tray with the label side facing up.

3. Close the CD door.

PLAY A DISC (CD/MP3)

1. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn the unit on (the standby indicator will be off).

2. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to switch to CD mode.

3. Follow the steps above to load a disc.

4. The player begins reading disc immediately.

5. When the disc is successfully read, the playback will start from the first track
automatically.

6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ button once to halt music playback, press the button again
to resume the normal playback; press the STOP/CH- button to cease music playback.

EXTERNAL MEMORY MEDIA OPERATION (USB)

1. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn the unit on (the standby indicator will be off).

2. Insert an USB to the USB port.

3. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to switch to USB mode.

4. When the inserted USB is detected and read, the first track will be played automatically.

5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ button to pause or resume the playback.

6. Press the STOP/CH- button to cease the playback.

SKIP TRACKS AND SEARCH FOR A SPECIFIC POINT TO PLAY (CD/MP3/USB)

1. Press once the SKIP/SEARCH UP button in music play to skip to the next track; press
once the SKIP/SEARCH DOWN button in music play to go back to beginning of the
current track, press the button twice continuously to skip to the previous track.

2. Press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH UP button or the SKIP/SEARCH DOWN button in
music play to search at quick rate for a specific point to play.

3. Press the FOLDER/10+ button once in play to skip to the track 10 tracks ahead, twice to
skip to the track 20 tracks ahead. You can reach the last track of the disc using this
button.

SKIP TO THE PREVIOUS/NEXT FOLDER (MP3/USB)

1. During playback, press and hold the FOLDER/10+ button until the folder number flashes
on the screen.

2. Press the SKIP/SEARCH DOWN button or SKIP/SEARCH UP button to select the folder
you want.

3. Wait several seconds or press the FOLDER/10+ button to confirm, the playback starts
from the selected folder.

REPEAT PLAYBACK (CD/MP3/USB)
During playback, press the MEM/MODE/PROG button to repeat play a single track; press
the button twice to repeat play all tracks; press the button three times to enter the
introduction play mode; press the button four times to enter the random play mode; press
the button five times to exit.

PROGRAMMED PLAY (CD/MP3 DISC/USB)

1. In stop mode, press the MEM/MODE/PROG button once, the program’s icon shows with
a program sequence indication "P01" first, then a track number flickers on the LCD with
the program’s icon.

2. Select the first track to be programmed using the SKIP/SEARCH UP button or the
SKIP/SEARCH DOWN button, and then press the MEM/MODE/PROG button again to
store and advance to the next programming step (If there are several folders on the MP3
disc or USB, it is necessary to program folders first and then the tracks. The method of
the folders programming is the same as the tracks programming.).

3. Repeat the above steps to program more tracks. A maximum of 20 tracks for CD and 99
tracks for MP3 disc/USB can be programmed in memory in a preferred order. If the
memory is full, the screen will show “FUL” for indicating.

4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ button to begin programmed play in the preferred order
after you are done with programming. The player stops automatical ly after all
programmed tracks are played.

5. You may press the STOP/CH- button to terminate programmed playback. In program
stop mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ button to begin the programmed playback with
the programming order identical with the previous one done; press the STOP/CH- button
again to clear the programming.

AUX IN

1. Connect the AUX IN jack on the unit to an audio source, for example, MP3 player with an
audio cable.

2. Power on the unit following the corresponding instruc tions.

3. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to switch to AUX mode.

4. Use the native controls on t he connec ted audio d evice t o begin play ing mu sic throu gh the
connected unit.

STEREO PHONE JACK

A stereo phone jack has been provided on the back side of the player so that you can listen
without disturbing others. To use this jack, plug in the hea d p hone s/earphones (NOT
INCLUDED) and adjust the volume level to a preferred level.

NOTE: When external headphones/earphones are connected, the speakers will be muted.
CAUTION: Listening at high power for a long moment could damage users' ears.

Gardez à l’esprit ces instructions :

 Évitez d’utiliser l’appareil à proximité de forts champs magnétiques.
 Un champ électromagnétique peut perturber l’utilisation normale de cet appareil. Dans

ce cas, réinitialisez et redémarrez simplement l’appareil en suivant le manuel
d’instruction. Lors du transfert de fichiers, manipulez avec précaution et faites

liquides à base de pétrole. Pour les tâches difficile, vous pouvez utiliser un linge humide
avec du détergent dilué.

 Le fournisseur n’est pas responsable des dégâts ou de la perte de données résultant

d’un mauvais fonctionnement, d’usage erroné, de modification de l’appareil ou du
remplacement de la batterie.

 La plaque signalétique se trouve en dessous de l'appareil.

AVERTISSEMENT: Une exposition prolongée à de forts volumes sonores
provenant de baladeurs peut causer des pertes d’audition temporaires ou
permanentes.

La clé USB doit être branchée directement dans l’appareil. N’utilisez pas de
câble d’extension car cela peut causer des interférences résultant sur une perte
de données.

ALIMENTATION

 MANIPULATION DES PILES

1. Enlevez soigneusement le couvercle du comp ar tim ent de bat ter ies

2. Install ez 6 piles de taille C (UM-2 ou équivalent) en respectant les polarités correctes.

3. Replacez le couvercle du compartiment de piles.

REMARQUE:

 L'adaptateur CA/CC doit être détaché de la prise DC IN du lecteur pour un

fonctionnement sur batterie.

 Des piles qui coulent peuvent endommager le compartiment de batteries et le lecteur

dans son ensemble, elles devraient donc être enlevées du compartiment lorsqu'elles
sont vides ou lorsque le lecteur n’est pas alimenté sur batterie pendant une longue
durée.

 FONCTIONNEMENT E NTRÉE CC

Branchez l'adaptateur fourni dans la prise entrée CC de l'unité et sur l'alimentation secteur.

REMARQUE:

S’il n’y a pas d’entrée de signal audio sur l’unité pendant une heure, l’unité passera en
mode veille automatiquement (sauf en mode FM ) .

RADIO FM
RÉGLER LA RADIO FM

1. L'indicateur de veille s'allumera une fois que l'unité sera connectée à l'alimentation
secteur. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/VEILLE pour allumer l'unité (l'indicateur de
veille s'éteindra).

2. Appuyez sur la touche SOURCE à plusieurs reprises pour régler l’unité sur le radio si
nécessaire.

3. Pour lancer la recherche automatique, tenez la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE
DESCENDANTE ou la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE ASCENDANTE appuyée quelques
secondes et relâchez-la.

4. Appuyez sur la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE DESCENDANTE ou la touche
SAUT/RECHERCHE ASCENDANTE pour régler les stations de radio manuellement.

5. Réglez le niveau du volume à un niveau d'écoute confortable en appuyant sur les
touches VOLUME +/-.

6. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/VEILLE pour éteindre l’unité.

REMARQUE:

 L'antenne télescopique FM est directionnelle. Lorsque vous recevez une émission FM,

étendez complètement l'antenne télescopique et tournez-la pour avoir une meilleure
réception.

ENREGISTRER VOTRE STATION DE RADIO FAVORITE

1. Commencez par régler votre station de radio préférée, appuyez sur la touche
MEM/MODE/PROG appuyée pour enregistrer la station en cours jusqu'à ce que le
numéro de la cellule de mémoire clignote à l'écran.

2. Utilisez la touche STOP/CH- ou la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/CH+ pour choisir la cellule
de mémoire correspondante entre P01 et P20.

3. Confirmez votre sélection en appuyant sur la touche MEM/MODE/PROG.

NE RANGEZ PAS À PROXIMITÉ DE

4. Pendant la diffusion de la radio, appuyez sur la touche STOP/CH- ou sur la touche
LECTURE/PAUSE/CH+ à plusieurs reprises pour rappeler les stations préselectionnées.

MANIPULATION ET ENTRETIEN DES DISQUES

Suivez les instructions ci-dessous pour manipuler et entretenir
vos disques afin de pouvoir les utiliser pendant longtemps sans
problèmes.

 Assurez-vous de ne pas toucher le cote réfléchissant du

disque, manipulez-le par les bor ds.

 Une exposition de trop longue durée au soleil à de hautes

températures ou à l’humidité endommageront le disque. Et
maintenez l’espace de rangement propre.

 Évitez de coller des étiquettes d’un coté ou de l’autre du

disque. Évitez strictement d’écrire sur le disque avec des
articles pointus.

 Nettoyez le disque en le frottant depuis le centre vers les

bords avec un linge doux et sec ou avec une brosse à disque.

 Rangez les disques dans leurs boitiers lorsque vous ne les

utilisez pas.

CHARGER UN DISQUE

1. Ouvrez le clapet du CD en appuyant sur la zone d’ouverture du clapet du CD.

2. Chargez un disque dans le bac de disque, l’étiquette vers le haut.

3. Fermez le clapet CD.

LIRE UN DISQUE (CD/MP3)

1. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/VEILLE pour allumer l'unité (l'indicateur de veille
s'éteindra).

2. Appuyez sur la touche SOURCE plusieurs fois et passez en mode CD.

3. Suivez les instructions ci-dessus pour charger un CD.

4. Le lecteur commencera à lire le disque immédiatemen t.

5. Lorsque le disque est correctement lu, la lecture com me n cera auto mat iquement à partir
de la première piste.

6. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/CH+ une fois pour interrompre la lecture de
musique, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche pour reprendre la lecture normale; appuyez
sur la touche STOP/CH- pour arrêter la lecture de musique.

UTILISATION DE MÉMOIRE MÉDIA EXTERNE (USB)

1. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/VEILLE pour allumer l'unité (l'indicateur de veille
s'éteindra).

2. Insérez un appareil USB dans le port USB.

3. Appuyez sur la touche SOURCE plusieurs fois et passez en mode USB.

4. Une fois que l'appareil USB est détecté et lu, la première piste sera jouée

automatiquement.

5. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/CH+ pour mettre en pause ou reprendre la

lecture.

6. Appuyez sur la touche STOP/CH- pour arrêter la lecture.

SAUTER DES PISTES ET CHERCHER UN POINT SPÉCIFIQUE POUR LA LECTURE
(CD/MP3USB)

1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE ASCENDANTE lors de la lecture de
musique pour passer à la piste suivante; appuyez une fois sur la touche
SAUT/RECHERCHE DESCENDANTE lors de la lecture de musique pour revenir au
début de la piste en cours, appuyez deux fois de suite sur la touche pour revenir à la
piste précédente.

2. Tenez la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE ASCENDANTE ou la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE
DESCENDANTE pendant la lecture de musique pour faire une recherche rapide à un
point spécifique de la lecture.

3. Appuyez une fois sur le bouton DOSSIER/10+ durant la lecture pour avancer de 10
pistes, deux fois pour avancer de 20 pistes. Vous pouvez atteindre la dernière piste du
disque avec ce bouton.

PASSER AU DOSSIER PRÉCÉDENT/SUIVANT (MP3/USB)

1. Pendant la lecture, tenez la touche DOSSIER/10+ appuyée jusqu'à ce que le numéro du
dossier clignote sur l'écran.

2. Appuyez sur la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE DESCENDANTE ou la touche
SAUT/RECHERCHE ASCENDANTE pour choisir le dossier de votre choix.

3. Attendez qu elques seconde s ou app uyez sur l a touch e DOSS IER / 10+ pour confirm er, la
lecture commencera à partir du dossier sélectionné.

LECTURE RÉPÉTÉE (CD/MP3/USB)
Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur la touche MEM/MODE/PROG pour répéter une piste
unique, appuyez deux fois pour répéter la lecture de toutes les pistes, appuyez trois fois
pour passer en mode de lecture des introductions, appuyez quatre fois pour passer en
mode de lecture aléatoire, appuyez cinq fois pour quitter.

LECTURE PROGRAMMÉE (CD/MP3/USB)

1. La lecture à l'arrêt, appuyez une fois sur la touche MEM/MODE/PROG, l'icône de
programme affiche une indication d'ordre de programmation « P01 » en premier, puis un
numéro de piste clignote sur l'écran avec l'icône de programme.

2. Choisissez la première piste à programmer avec la touche SAUT/ RECHERCHE
ASCENDANTE ou la touche SAUT/RECHERCHE DESCENDANTE, puis appuyez sur la
touche MEM/MODE/PROG de nouveau pour enregistrer et passer à la prochaine étape
de programmation (si plusieurs dossiers sont présents sur le disque MP3 ou sur la clé
USB, il est nécessaire de programmer d'abord les dossiers avant les pistes. La méthode
de programmation des dossiers est la même que pour la programmation des pistes.)

3. Répétez les étapes ci-dessus pour programmer d’autres pistes. Un maximum de 20
pistes pour un CD et 99 pistes pour un CD MP3 / Clé USB peuvent être programmées
dans la mémoire dans l’ordre que vous souhaitez. Si la mémoire est pleine, l'écran
affichera une indication « FUL ».

4. Appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/CH+ pour commencer la lecture programmée
dans l’ordre de votre choix lorsque vous avez terminé votre programmation. Le lecteur
s'arrête automatiquement après que toutes les pistes programmées aient été jouées.

5. Vous pouvez appuyer sur la touche STOP/CH- pour terminer la lecture programmée. En
mode de lecture programmée arrêtée, appuyez sur la touche LECTURE/PAUSE/CH+
pour reprendre la lecture programmée dans le même ordre de programmation que la
précédente, appuyez sur la touche STOP/CH- de nouveau pour effacer la
programmation.

ENTRÉE AUXILIAIRE

1. Connectez les prises d’entrée auxiliaire sur l’unité sur une source audio, par exemple un
lecteur MP3 avec un câble audio.

2. Allumez l’un ité en suiv ant les instru cti ons corr esp ond ant e s .

3. Appuyez sur la touche SOURCE plusieurs fois et passez en mode AUX.

4. Utilisez les contrôles d’origine sur l’appareil audio connecté pour lire de la musique sur
l’unité.

PRISE ÉCOUTEUR STÉRÉO

Une prise écouteur stéréo a été installée à l’arrière de l’unité afin que vous puissiez écouter
de la musique sans déranger les autres. Pour utiliser cette prise, branchez les écouteurs /
le casque (NON FOURNI) et réglez au niveau de volume confortable.
REMARQUE: Lorsque des écouteurs / un casque sont connectés sur l'unité, les
haut-parleurs de l'unité seront désa ctiv é s.
ATTENTION : Écouter au volume le plus fort pendant de longues période peut nuire à
l'audition de l’utilisateur.

 Dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser benutzen.
 Nur mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Lappen reinigen.
 Die Ventilationsöffnungen nicht abdecken oder blockieren. Wenn Sie das Gerät auf ein

Regal stellen, lassen Sie um das gesamte Gerät herum mindestens 5 cm (2”) Platz.

 Installieren Sie das Gerät gemäß der mitgelieferten Bedienungsanleitung.
 Nicht auf das Netzkabel treten oder dieses einklemmen. Besondere Vorsicht ist

insbesondere an den Steckern und an den Verbindungsstellen mit dem Gerät geboten.
Stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Netzkabel, um dieses nicht zu

verletzen, wenn sie mit dem Netzkabel spielen.

 Trennen Sie das Gerät während Gewittern oder längeren Zeiten des Nichtgebrauchs

vom Netzstrom.

 Halten Sie das Gerät von Wärmequell en wie Heizkörpern, Heizungen, Öfen , Ker z en und

anderen wärmeerzeugenden Geräten fern.

 Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von magnetischen Quellen.
 Elektrostatische Entladung kann den normalen Betrieb des Geräts stören. Setzen Sie

das Gerät in solch einem Fal l g emäß den A nleitun gen z urück und st arten es dann erneut.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät während der Übertragung von Dateien mit Vorsicht und nur in
einer störungsfreien Umgebung.

Durch das Gerät fließt Hochspannung und durch da s E inführen von Gegenständen kann

werden. Aus den gleichen Gründen dürfen weder Wasser noch andere Flüssigkeiten
über dem Gerät ausgeschüttet werden.

 Gerät NICHT in nassen oder feuchten Umgebungen wie in Badezimmern, Garküchen

oder in der Nähe von Swimming Pools verwenden.

 Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, falls Kondensation auftreten könnte.

 AC Steckdosen und Verlängerungskabel nicht überlasten. Durch Überlastung können

Feuer oder Stroms chl äge verursacht werden.

 Geräte der Schutzklasse 1 müssen an eine Steckdose mit Erdungskontakt

angeschlossen werden.

 Geräte der Schutzklasse 2 müssen nicht an eine geerdete Steckdose angeschlossen

werden.

 Vor Nagetieren schützen. Nagetiere haben eine Vorliebe für Kabel.
 Ziehen Sie immer am Stecker, wenn Sie das Gerät vom Netz trennen. Nicht am Kabel

ziehen, da dadurch ein Kurzschluss verursacht werden könnte.

 Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf Oberflächen, die Vibrationen oder Schock ausgesetzt

sind.

 Wenn Si e das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden, ziehen Sie das AC Netzkabel aus

Sicherheitsgründen aus der Steckdose.

 Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch. Verwenden Sie KEINE

Lösungsmittel oder benzinhaltigen Flüssigkeiten. Starke Verschmutzungen können Sie
mit einem feuchten Lappen und etwas verdünntem Reiniger entfernen.

 Der Lieferant haftet nicht für Schäden oder Datenverluste aufgrund von Fehlfunktionen,

Missbrauch, Modifikationen am Gerät oder Batteriewechseln.

 Das Typenschild befi ndet si ch auf der Unterseite des Geräts.

WARNUNG: Eine langfristige Geräuschbelastung durch persönlic he
Audiogeräte kann temporär oder permanent zu Gehörverlust führen.

USB-Sticks müssen direkt an das Gerät angeschlossen werden. Verwenden Sie
keine USB-Verlängerungskabel, da diese Störungen verursachen und damit
einhergehend zu Datenverlusten führen können.

STROMVERSORGUNG

 BATTERIEBETRIEB

1. Entfernen Sie vorsichtig die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs.

2. Install ieren Sie 6 x Batterien des Typs „C“ (UM-2 oder gleichwertig) gemäß der richtigen
Polarität.

3. Installieren Sie dann wieder die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs.

HINWEIS:

 Für den Batteriebetrieb muss das AC /DC -Netzteil von der DC IN Eingangsbuchse

getrennt werden.

 Auslaufende Batterien können das Batteriefach oder das gesamte Gerät beschädigen.

Entnehmen Sie daher die Batterien, wenn diese leer sind oder wenn Sie das Gerät über
längere Zeit nicht per Batterien betreiben.

 BETRIEB VIA DC-EINGANG

Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil an den DC-Eingang des Gerä t s und an eine
Steckdose an.

HINWEIS:

Falls das Gerät innerhalb einer Stunde kein Aud iosignal empfängt, aktiviert das Gerät
automatisch den Standby-Modus (außer im FM-Radiomodus).

FM-RADIO
FM-RADIO EINSCHALTEN

1. Die Standby-Anzeige leuchtet auf, sobald das Gerät an den Netzstrom angeschlossen
wird. Drücken Sie die Taste EIN/STANDBY, um das Gerät einzuschalten
(Standby-Anzeige erlischt).

2. Drücken Sie ggf. wiederholt die Taste EINGANG SQ UE LLE, um das Radio einzuschalten.

3. Um die automatische Sendersuche zu starten, halten Sie die Taste SKIP/SUCHE- oder
SKIP/SUCHE+ mehrere Sekunden lang gedrückt.

4. Durch kurzes Drücken der Tasten SKIP/SUCHE- oder SKIP/SUCHE+ können Sie
Radiosender manuell einstelle n.

5. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke mit den Tasten LAUTSTÄRKE+/- entsprechend ein.

6. Drücken Sie EIN/STANDBY, um das Gerät auszuschalten.

HINWEIS:

 Die FM-Teleskopantenne ist direktional. Wenn Sie FM-Radiosender empfangen, ziehen

Sie die Antenne vollständig aus und richten Sie diese für einen optimalen Empfang aus.

LIEBLINGSSENDER SPEICHERN

1. Schalten Sie zunächst Ihren Lieblingssender ein. Drücken Sie die Taste
SPEICHER/MODUS/PROG zum Speichern von Sendern, bis die Nummer des
Speicherplatzes im Display blinkt.

2. Verwenden Sie die Tasten STOPP/CH- oder WIEDERGABE/PAUSE/CH+, um einen
Speicherplatz (P01-P20) auszuwählen.

3. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl durch Drücken von SPEICHER/MODUS/PROG.

HANDHABUNG UND WARTUNG VON DISCS

Folgen Sie den nachstehenden Anleitungen zur Handhabung und
Wartung von Discs, um eine langanhaltende und störfreie
Leistung zu gewährleisten:

 Berühren Sie nicht die unbedruckte Seite der Disc. Halten Sie

Discs nur an den Kanten fest.

 Bei langanhaltender Einwirkung von Sonnenschein, hohen

Temperaturen und Feuchtigkeit kann die Disc beschädigt
werden. Halten Sie den Aufbewahrungsbereich sauber.

 Bringen Sie keine Aufkleber an der Disc an. Schreiben Sie

 Reinigen Sie die Disc, indem Sie von der Mitte nach außen

wischen. Verwenden Sie einen trockenen & weichen Lappen

Chemikalien.

 Bewahren Sie Discs während des Nichtgebrauchs in deren

Hülle auf.

DISC EINLEGEN

1. Öffnen Sie das CD-Laufwerk am Öffnungsbereich.

2. Legen Sie eine Disc mit der bedruckten Seite nach oben ein.

3. Schließen Sie das CD-Laufwerk.

DISC ABSPIELEN (CD/MP3)

1. Drücken Sie EIN/STANDBY, um das Gerät einzuschalten (Standby-Anzeige erlischt).

2. Drücken Sie wiederholt die Taste EINGANGSQUELLE, um den CD-Modus
einzuschalten.

3. Legen Sie gemäß oben erläuterter Vorgehensweise eine CD ein.

4. Das Gerät beginnt umgehend, die Disc zu lesen.

5. Nach erfolgrei chem S canne n der Di sc star tet di e Wiederga be automa tisch ab dem er sten
Titel.

6. Drücken Sie einmal die Taste WIEDERGABE/PAUSE/CH+, um die Musikwiedergabe zu
unterbrechen. Drücken Sie die Taste erneut, um die normale Wiedergabe fortzusetzen.
Drücken Sie STOPP/CH-, um die Wiedergabe zu beenden.

WIEDERGABE EINES EXTERNEN SPEICHERGERÄTS (USB)

1. Drücken Sei EIN/STANDBY, um das Gerät einzuschalten (Standby-Anzeige erlischt).

2. Schließen Sie ein USB-Gerät an den USB-Port an.

3. Drücken Sie wiederholt die Taste EINGANGSQUELLE, um den USB-Modus
einzuschalten.

6. Drücken Sie STOPP/CH-, um die Wiedergabe zu beenden.

TITEL ÜBERSPRINGEN ODER EINE BESTIMMTE STELLE SUCHEN (CD/MP3/USB)

1. Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe einmal die Taste SKIP/SUCHE+, um zum
nächsten Titel zu springen. Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe einmal die Taste
SKIP/SUCHE-, um zum Anfang des aktuellen Titels zu springen, oder drücken Sie die
Taste zweimal, um zum vorhergehenden Titel zu springen.

2. Halten Sie während der Wiedergabe die Taste SKIP/SUCHE+ oder SKIP/SUCHE­gedrückt, um eine bestimmte Stelle im Titel zu suchen.

3. Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe einmal die Taste ORDNER/10+, um 10 Titel
vorwärts zu springen, oder zweimal, um 20 Titel vorwärts zu springen. Mit dieser Taste
können Sie bis zum letzten Titel gelangen.

ZUM NÄCHSTEN/VORHERGEHENDEN ORDNER GELANGEN (MP3/USB)

1. Halten Sie w ährend der Wiedergabe die Taste ORDNER/10+ gedrückt, bis im Display die
Ordnernummer blinkt.

2. Wählen Sie mit SKIP/SUCHE- oder SKIP/SUCHE+ den gewünschten Ordner aus.

3. Warten Sie einige Sekunden oder drücken Sie ORDNER/10+ zum Bestätigen. Die
Wiedergabe beginnt ab dem ausgewählten Ordner.

WIEDERHOLTE WIEDERGABE (CD/MP3/USB)
Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe die Taste SPEICHER/MODUS/PROG, um einen
einzelnen Titel wiederholt abzuspielen. Drücken Sie die Taste zweimal, um alle Titel zu
wiederholen, oder dreimal, um alle Titel anzuspielen. Drücken Sie die Taste ein viertes Mal,

Wiedergabe zurückzukehren.

PROGRAMMIERTE WIEDERGABE (CD/MP3-DISC/USB)

1. Drücken Sie im Stopp-Modus einmal die Taste SPEICHER/MODUS/PROG. Im Display
erscheinen das Programmieren-Icon und die Anzeige des ersten Speicherplatzes „P01“.
Danach blinkt im Display eine Titelnummer mit dem Programmieren-Icon.

2. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP/SUCHE+ und SKIP/SUCHE- den ersten zu
programmierenden Titel aus. Drücken Sie SPEICHER/MODUS/PROG, um die Auswahl
zu speichern und zum nächsten Programmschritt zu gelangen. (Falls auf einer MP3-Disc
oder dem USB-Gerät mehrere Ordner vorhanden sind, müssen Sie zunächst die Ordner
und dann die Titel programmieren. Die Vorgehensweise zur Programmier ung von
Ordnern ist die gleiche wie die zur Programmierung von Titeln.)

3. Wiederholen Sie oben genannte Schrit te, um weiter e Titel zu speichern. Sie können bis
zu 20 CD-Titel und bis zu 99 MP3-/USB-Titel in beliebiger Reihenfolge programmieren.
Wenn der Speicher voll ist, erscheint im Display die Anzeige „FUL“.

4. Drücken Sie nach dem Programmieren die Taste WIEDERGABE/PAUSE/CH+, um die
Wiedergabe in der programmierten Reihenfolge zu starten. Das Gerät beendet die
Wiedergabe automatisch nach Abspielen aller programmierten Titel.

5. Sie können STOPP/CH- drücken, um die programmierte Wiedergabe zu beenden.
Drücken Sie im Programmieren-Modus die Taste WIEDERGABE/PAUSE/CH+, um die
vorher programmierten Titel erneut abzuspielen. Drücken Sie STOPP/CH- erneut, um
den Speicher zu löschen.

AUX-EINGANG

1. Verwenden Sie ein Audiokabel, um den AUX-Eingang des Geräts mit einem Audiogerät,
z.B. MP3-Spieler, zu verbinden.

2. Schalten Sie das Gerät gemäß den Anleitungen ein.

3. Drücken Sie wiederholt die Taste EINGANGSQUELLE, um den AUX-Modus
einzuschalten.

4. Starten Sie an dem angeschlossenen Gerät die Wiedergabe, um die Musik über dieses
Gerät abzuspielen.

STEREO-KOPFHÖRERBUCHSE

An der Rückseite des Geräts befindet sich eine Stereo-Kopfhörerbuchse, sodass Sie Musik
hören können, ohne andere P ersonen z u stör en. Schli eßen S ie Kopf hörer/O hrhör er (NIC HT
ENTHALTEN) an die Kopfhörerbuchse an und stellen Sie die Lautstärke entsprechend ein.
HINWEIS: Bei Anschluss von externen Kopfhörern/Ohrhörern werden die Lautsprecher
stumm geschaltet.

Houd deze instructies in het achterhoofd:

 Hoewel het apparaat zorgv ul di g v er v aardi gd is en uitvoerig is gecontroleerd alv oren s het

de fabriek verlaat, geldt net als bij alle elektrische apparaten dat het mogelijk is dat er
probleem ontstaat. Als u rook, een t e grote ophoping van warmte of andere onverwachte
verschijnselen opmerkt, dan moet u direct de stekker uit het stopcontact halen.

 Niet gebruiken in de buurt van water.
 Alleen schoonmaken met een licht bevochtigde doek.
 Blokkeer de ventilatieopeningen niet. Houd ten minste 5 cm (2”) ruimte vrij rond het

gehele apparaat als het op een plank wordt geplaatst.

 Installeer in overeenstemming met de meegeleverde handleiding.
 Bescherm het netsnoer, zorg ervoor dat er niet op gestapt wordt en dat het niet geplet

wordt, vooral bij de stekker en het punt waar de kabel het apparaat verlaat. Plaats geen
zware voorwerpen, die het netsnoer kunnen beschadigen, op het netsnoer. Houd het
gehele apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen! Zij kunnen zichzelf ernstig verwonden
wanneer ze met het netsnoer spelen.

 Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact t ijd ens o nw eer of bij lan g e perioden van niet-gebruik.
 Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van warmtebronnen zoals radiatoren, kachels, fornuizen,

kaarsen en andere producten die warmte genereren.

 Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van sterke magnetische velden.
 De normale werking van het product kan worden verstoord door elektrostatische

ontlading. Als dit het geval is, reset het apparaat en st art het opnie uw op volgens de
instructies in de handleiding. Ga tijdens het overdragen van bestanden voorzichtig te
werk en gebruik het apparaat in een statisch-vrije omgeving.

 Gebruik het apparaat niet als er conden s kan ontstaan.
 Het apparaat moet worden aangesloten op een voedingsbron die overeenkomt met de

informatie op het de specificatielabel. Als u niet zeker bent van het type
stroomvoorziening in uw huis, neem dan contact op met uw dealer of het plaatselijke
elektriciteitsbedrijf.

 Het stopcontact moet geïnstalleerd zijn in de buurt van het apparaat en eenvoudig

bereikbaar zijn.

 Overbelast stopcontacten of verlengsnoeren niet, dit kan leiden tot brand of elektrische

schokken.

 Klasse 1-apparaten moet worden aangesloten op een stopcontact met een geaarde

aansluiting.

 Klasse 2-apparaten vereisen geen geaarde aansluiting.
 Uit de buurt van knaagdieren houden. Knaagdieren vinden het leuk om in snoeren te

bijten.

 Trek altijd aan de stekker wanneer u de stekker uit het stopcontact haalt. Trek niet aan

het snoer, dit kan kortsluiting veroorzaken.

oplosmiddelen of vloeistoffen op basis van benzine. U kunt een vochtige doek met
verdund afwasmiddel gebruiken voor hardnekkige vlekken.

 De leverancier is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade of het verlies van gegevens door

storingen, verkeerd gebruik, wijzigingen aan het apparaat of het vervangen van de
batterij.

 Het nominale specificatieplaatje is te vinden op de onderzijde van het apparaat.

WAARSCHUWING: Langdurige blootstelling aan harde geluiden van
persoonlijke muziekspelers kan leiden tot tijdelijk of permanent gehoorverlies.

De USB-stick moet rechtstreeks in het apparaat worden gestoken. Gebruik geen
USB-verlengkabel omdat dit storing bij bestandsoverdracht kan veroorzaken.

VOEDING

 GEBRUIK MET BATTERIJEN

1. Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak voorzichtig.

2. Install eer 6 x maat 'C' batterijen (UM-2 of equivalent) met inachtneming van de juiste

polariteit (batterijrichting).

3. Plaats het deksel van het batterijvak terug.

OPMERKING:

 Als u gebruik wilt maken van batterijstroom, koppel de netadapter dan los van de

DC-INGANG op de speler.

 Lekkende batterijen kunnen het batterijvak van de speler en de speler in zijn geheel

beschadigen. Haal batterijen daarom uit het batterijvak wanneer ze leeg zijn of wanneer
de speler voor een langere periode niet op batterijstroom wordt gebruikt.

 GEBRUIK MET NET S TROOM

Steek de meegeleverde adapter in de DC-INGANG op het apparaat en in het stopcontact.

OPMERKING:

Als er gedurende ongeveer een uur geen audiosignalen worden ontvangen, dan zal het
apparaat automatisch naar de standbymodus schakelen (behalve in de FM-modus).

FM-RADIO
DE FM-RADIO AFSTEMMEN

1. De standby-indicator zal oplichten zodra het apparaat wordt aangesloten op het lichtnet.

Druk op ON/STANDBY om het apparaat in te schakelen (de standby-indicator gaat uit).

2. Druk herhaaldelijk op SOURCE om het apparaat, indien nodig, naar de radiomodus te

schakelen.

3. Houd om automatisch naar zenders te zoeken SKIP/SEARCH DOWN of SKIP/SEARCH

UP enkele seconden ingedrukt en laat de knop daarna los.

4. Druk op SKIP/SEARCH DOWN of SKIP/SEARCH UP om handmatig af te stemmen op

radiozenders.

5. Stel het volume naar wens in door op VOLUME +/- te drukken.

6. Druk op ON/STANDBY om het apparaat uit te schakelen.

OPMERKING:

 De telescopische FM-antenne is directioneel. Als u naar een FM-zender wilt luisteren,

strek de telescopische antenne dan volledig uit en draai de antenne voor de beste
ontvangst.

UW FAVORIETE RADIOZENDERS OPSLAAN

1. Stem eerst af op uw favoriete radiozender; druk op MEM/MODE/PROG tot de

geheugencel op het scherm knippert om de huidige zender op te slaan.

2. Gebruik STOP/CH- of PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ om de gewenste geheugencel te selecteren,

van P01 tot P20.

3. Bevestig uw keuze door op MEM/MODE/PROG te drukken.

4. Druk tijdens het afspelen van radio herhaaldelijk op STOP/CH- of PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ om

voorkeurszenders op te roepen.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN BIJ OMGANG MET DISCS

Volg de onderstaande instructies bij de omgang en het gebruik
van uw CD’s om erv oor te z orgen dat ze lang meegaan en zonder
problemen gebruikt kunnen worden:

 Zorg ervoor dat u de regenboogzijde van de disc niet aanraakt,

houd de disc bij de randen vast.

 Langdurige blootstelling aan zonlicht, hoge temperaturen en

vochtigheid kunnen de disc beschadigen. Berg discs ook op
een schone plek op.

 Plak geen labels op beide zijden van een disc. Schrijf niet met

spitse voorwerpen op de disc.

 Veeg de disc schoon vanuit het midden naar de buitenkant

met een droge & zachte doek of met een CD-borstel. Gebruik

EEN DISC PLAATSEN

1. Open de CD-deur door op het gebied voor het openen van de CD-deur te drukken.

2. Plaats een disc met het label omhoog gericht in de discl a de.

3. Sluit de CD-deur.

EEN DISC AFSPELEN (CD/MP3)

1. Druk op ON/STANDBY om het apparaat in te schakelen (de standby-indicator gaat uit).

2. Druk herhaaldelijk op SOURCE om naar de CD-modus te schakelen.

3. Volg de bovenstaande stappen om een disc te plaatsen.

4. De speler leest de disc onmiddellijk in.

5. Als de disc succesvol is ingelezen, dan zal het afspelen automatisch starten vanaf de

eerste track.

6. Druk één keer op PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ om het afspelen te pauzeren, druk nogmaals op de

knop om het afspelen te hervatten; druk op STOP/CH- om het afspelen te stoppen.

HET GEBRUIK VAN EXTERNE GEHEUGENMEDIA (USB)

1. Druk op ON/STANDBY om het apparaat in te schakelen (de standby-indicator gaat uit).

2. Steek een USB-apparaat in de USB-poort.

3. Druk herhaaldelijk op SOURCE om naar de USB-modus te schakelen.

4. Als het USB-app ar aat in de USB-poort is gestoken, gedetecteerd en gelezen, dan zal de

eerste track automatisch worden afgespeeld.

5. Druk op PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ om het afspelen te pauzeren of hervatten.

6. Druk op STOP/CH- om het afspelen te stoppen.

TRACKS OVERSLAAN EN ZOEKEN NAAR EEN SPECIFIEK AFSPEELPUNT
(CD/MP3/USB)

1. Druk tijdens het afspelen van muziek één keer op SKIP/SEARCH UP om naar de

volgende track te gaa n; druk tijdens het afspelen van muziek één keer op SKIP/SEARCH
DOWN om naar het begin van de huidige track te gaan, druk twee keer op de knop om
terug te gaan naar de vorige track.

2. Houd SKIP/SEARCH UP of SKIP/SEARCH DOWN tijdens het afspelen van muziek

ingedrukt om vooruit of terug te spoelen naar een specifiek afspeelpunt.

3. Druk één keer op FOLDER/10+ om 10 tracks vooruit te gaan, druk twee keer om 20

tracks vooruit te gaan. U kunt de laatste track van de disc bereiken door gebruik te
maken van deze knop.

NAAR DE VORIGE/VOLGENDE MAP GAAN (MP3/USB)

1. Houd tijdens het afspelen FOLDER/10+ ingedrukt tot het mapnummer op het scherm

knippert.

2. Druk op SKIP/SEARCH DOWN of SKIP/SEARCH UP om de gewenste map te

selecteren.

HERHALEN (CD/MP3/USB)
Druk tijdens het afspelen op MEM/MODE/PROG om een enkele track te herhalen; druk
twee keer op de knop om alle tracks te herhalen; druk drie keer op de knop om de intro’s
van tracks af te spelen; druk vier keer op de knop om tracks in willekeurige volgorde af te
spelen; druk vijf keer op de knop om het normaal afspelen te hervatten.

PROGRAMMA AFSPELEN (CD/MP3 DISC/USB)

1. Druk als het afspelen is gestopt één keer op MEM/MODE/PROG, het

programma-icoontje wordt eerst getoond met een indicator die de volgorde van het
programma aangeeft "P01", daarna knippert een tracknummer op het LCD met het
programma-icoontje.

2. Selecteer de eerste track in het programma met behulp van SKIP/SEARCH UP of

SKIP/SEARCH DOWN en druk daarna nogmaals op MEM/MODE/PROG om op te slaan
en door te gaan naar de volgende programmastap (Als er verschillende mappen op een
MP3-disc of USB-apparaat staan, dan is het nodig om eerst de mappen te
programmeren en daarna de tracks. De methode voor het programmeren van mappen is
hetzelfde als de methode voor het programmeren van tracks.).

3. Herhaal de bovenstaande stappen om meer tracks in te programmeren. Er kunnen

maximaal 20 tracks voor CD’s en 99 tracks voor MP3-discs/USB-apparaten in de
gewenste volgorde worden geprogrammeerd in het geheugen. Als het geheugen vol is,
dan zal de melding “FUL” op het scherm worden getoond.

4. Druk wanneer u klaar bent met het programmeren op PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ om het

afspelen van het programma in de gewenste volgorde te starten. De speler stopt
automatisch wanneer alle tracks uit het programma zijn afgespeeld.

5. U kunt op STOP/CH- drukken om het afspelen van een programma te stoppen. Druk

wanneer het afspelen is gestopt in de programmamodus op PLAY/PAUSE/CH+ om het
afspelen van een eerder geprogrammeerd programma in de geprogrammeerde volgorde
te starten; druk nogmaals op STOP/CH- om het programma te wissen.

AUX-INGANG

1. Sluit een audiobron, bijvoorbeeld een MP3-speler, met behulp van een audiokabel aan

op de AUX-INGANG op het apparaat.

2. Zet de apparaten aan door de bijbehorende gebruiksinstructies te volgen.

3. Druk herhaaldelijk op SOURCE om naar de AUX-modus te schakelen.

4. Gebruik de bedieningselementen op het externe audioapparaat om het afspelen van

muziek op het externe apparaat te starten.

STEREOHOOFDTELEFOONAANSLUITING

Er zit een stereohoofdtelefoonaansluiting op de achterkant van de speler, zodat u kunt
luisteren zonder anderen te stor en. U kunt deze aansluiting gebruiken door er een
hoofd-/oortelefoon (NIET MEEGELEVERD) op aan te sluiten en het volume naar wens in te
stellen.
OPMERKING: Als er een hoofd-/oortelefoon op het apparaat wordt aangesloten, dan
worden de luidsprekers uitgeschakeld.

LET OP: Langdurig luisteren naar luide geluiden kan leiden tot gehoorschade.
