1. INTRODUCTION

The Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi is a twin rotor rake to rake grass.
Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi has two rotors with 15 removable tine arms,
The each with five double tines.
The tines provide a clean sweep and move the grass to the center in a fluffy swath.
The swath width can be hydraulically adjusted.
The Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi has:
Two rotors
A hydraulic system
An octosense wheel assembly
An adjustable cam track.
A brake system
Various optional extras are also available. Refer to Optional Extras Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi (page 1-3).

Introduction 1-1

1.1 Rotors

A 3-D system connects the rotors to the carriage of the Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi. This allows the rotors to follow ground contours independently from the carriage.
modular design of the Lely Hibiscus rotors enables quick and easy repair
The and replacement worn parts.

1.2 Hydraulic System

The hydraulic system transfers part of the weight of the rotors to the carriage to minimize any damage to the crop.
The hydraulic system is controlled either by an operating cord or an electric control to the working position.
The electric controlled system also permits operation with one rotor in the headland position. This enables raking places that are difficult to reach, for example slopes and corners.

1.3 Octosense Wheel Assembly

The Octosense wheel assembly has eight tyres and is installed underneath the
rotors. It enables the rotors to follow ground contours accurately and rake
cleanly.

1.4 Adjustable Cam Track

The adjustable cam track determines the pick and release moments of the crop.
Correct adjustment of the cam track depends on the type of crop, terrain conditions and forward speed. The cam track is adjusted by moving the adjustment strip to front or the back. Moving the adjustment strip to the front gives a late release of the crop. Moving the adjustment strip to the back gives an early release of the crop.

1.5 Brake System

The brakes of the Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi are installed on the transport wheels. Either oil-pressure or air-pressure brake systems can be installed.

1.6 Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi +

The Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi + is a special version of the Lely Hibiscus 1015
CD Profi. It has adjustable wheel assemblies underneath the rotors. This enables easy adjustment of the working height during operation.
R-H012.1103EN
An electrically controlled hydraulic system operates the adjustable wheel assemblies. The control panel is installed in the tractor cab.

The Hibiscus must only be operated by authorised persons.
Be alert and observe all safety precautions.
Make sure all safety guards and protection devices are installed and
function correctly.
Keep people and objects away from moving parts.
Stop the tractor engine, the Power Take-Off (PTO) and all moving parts
before you do maintenance on the Hibiscus.
Make sure no people are in the danger zone when the Hibiscus is in
operation. This is especially important when you work near or on areas that are accessible to the public.
Always use a tractor with a cab.
Make sure there are no objects in the field that could be thrown up by the
Hibiscus before you operate the Hibiscus.
Obey local legislation when you drive on a public road.
Use flashing lights or other safety signs, when necessary.
Do not stand on the Hibiscus.
Only use genuine LELY parts.
Safety 2-1
Depressurise the hydraulic system before you connect or disconnect
hydraulic hoses.
Use protective clothing, gloves, safety glasses and ear protectors, if
necessary.
Clean or replace the safety decals regularly so that they can be read at all
times.
