Bedienungsanleitung vor Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam
lesen und zur weiteren Verfügung aufbewahren.
Lufterhitzer LE 3000; LE 5000
Anwendung
Die Leister Lufterhitzer eignen sich für den Einbau in Maschinen, Anlagen oder Geräten und sind für
den Dauerbetrieb ausgelegt.
• Trocken- und Aufheizprozesse verschiedenster Art
• Schrumpfen und Schweissen von Verpackungsfolien und Formteilen
• Aufheizen von Durchlauföfen und Behältern
• Aktivieren und Lösen von lösungsmittelfreien Klebstoen und Schmelzklebern
• Sterilisieren von Verpackungsmaterialien wie Flaschen, Korken und Behältern
• Glätten von Dragée-Überzügen, Glänzen von Schokoladen und Kosmetikartikeln
• Trennen und Verschmelzen von synthetischen Fäden und Geweben
• Lötvorgänge an dünnen Blechteilen
• Löten und Entlöten von SMD- und bedrahteten Bauteilen
• Beschleunigen von Mischprozessen und Auflösen von Schäumen, die beim Mischen oder Abfüllvorgängen
entstehen
• Schweissen von thermoplastischen Kunststoen
• Entfernen von Kunststo-Pressgrat und Glänzen der Kunststo-Oberflächen
Warnung
Lebensgefahr beim Önen des Gerätes, da spannungsführende Komponenten
und Anschlüsse freigelegt werden. Vor dem Öffnen des Gerätes muss dieses
allpolig vom Netz getrennt werden.
Feuer- und Explosionsgefahr bei unsachgemässem Einbau und Gebrauch von
Lufterhitzern, besonders in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien und explosiven
Gasen.

Einbau
• Gerät darf nur von ausgebildeten Fachleuten eingebaut werden.
• LE 3000 muss mit vier M4-Schrauben am Anschlussgehäuse (6) befestigt werden.
• LE 5000 muss mit vier M5-Schrauben am Montagefuss (7) befestigt werden.
• Der Einbau muss gewährleisten, dass
– nur kalte Luft angesaugt wird
– kein (Wärme-) Rückstau entsteht
– das Gerät nicht vom Heissluftstrahl eines anderen Gerätes angeströmt wird.
• Das Gerät vor Vibrationen und Erschütterungen schützen.
• Einbaumasse, Seite 3 (Size).
Luftversorgung
• Als Luftversorgung müssen Leister-Gebläse verwendet werden (Drehrichtung und elektrischen Anschluss beachten).
• Bei staubhaltiger Luft Leister-Edelstahlfilter am Gebläse-Ansaugstutzen verwenden. Bei besonders kritischen Stäuben, (z.B.
Metall-, elektrisch leitende oder feuchte Stäube) müssen spezielle Filter verwendet werden, um Kurzschlüsse im Gerät zu
vermeiden.
• Der Lufterhitzer darf nur mit Luft bis max 50 °C versorgt werden.
• Minimale Luftmenge muss eingehalten werden (Technische Daten, Seite 5).
Achtung: Gerät immer mit Luftversorgung betreiben !
Betrieb
• Gerät ans elektrische Netz anschliessen
• Die Netzanschlussleitung muss entsprechenden Leiterquerschnitt aufweisen und fachmännisch angeschlossen werden.
Lebensgefahr beim Önen des Gerätes, da spannungsführende Komponenten und Anschlüsse freigelegt werden. Vor dem Öffnen des Gerätes muss dieses allpolig vom Netz getrennt werden.
• Nach Bedarf entsprechende Düse oder Reflektor montieren.
Verbrennungsgefahr! Heizelementrohr und Düse nicht in heissem Zustand berühren. Gerät abkühlen
lassen. Heissluftstrahl nicht auf Personen oder Tiere richten.
• LE 3000
– Heisslufttemperatur mit Potentiometer (5) einstellen.
– Luftmenge bei Bedarf mit Luftschieber (4) reduzieren.
• LE 5000
– Heisslufttemperatur mit Potentiometer (5) einstellen.
• Es muss darauf geachtet werden, dass die Heissluft frei ausströmen kann (Brandgefahr!).
Feuer- und Explosionsgefahr bei unsachgemässem Einbau und Gebrauch von Lufterhitzern, besonders in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien und explosiven Gasen.
• Die Firma Leister wie auch autorisierte Verkaufs- und Service-Stellen bieten kostenlose Beratung und Einführung im Bereich
der Anwendungen von Lufterhitzern an.
• Nach Gebrauch, Gerät durch Nachfliessen von Kaltluft abkühlen lassen (Vermeidung von Wärmerückstau).
ACHTUNG:
• Im Netzanschluss muss eine geeignete Vorrichtung zur allpoligen Trennung vom Netz mit einem Kontaktabstand von
3 mm vorhanden sein.
Zubehör
• Es darf nur Leister-Zubehör verwendet werden.
• Zubehör unter www.leister.com
Beim Wechseln von Düse oder Reflektor zuvor Gerät abkühlen lassen.
• Temperaturregelung mit zusätzlichem Leister-Kaskadenregler (darf nur durch die Firma Leister angepasst und abgeglichen
werden).

Service und Reparatur
•
Reparaturen sind ausschliesslich von autorisierten Leister Service-Stellen ausführen zu lassen. Diese
gewährleisten innert nützlicher Frist einen fachgerechten und zuverlässigen Reparatur-Service mit Original-Ersatzteilen gemäss Schaltplänen und Ersatzteillisten.
Gewährleistung
• Für dieses Gerät gelten die vom direkten Vertriebspartner/Verkäufer gewährten Garantie- oder Gewährleistungs-
rechte ab Kaufdatum. Bei einem Garantie- oder Gewährleistungsanspruch (Nachweis durch Rechnung oder
Lieferschein) werden Herstellungs- oder Verarbeitungsfehler vom Vertriebspartner durch Ersatzlieferung oder
Reparatur beseitigt. Heizelemente sind von der Gewährleistung oder Garantie ausgeschlossen.
• Weitere Garantie- oder Gewährleistungsansprüche werden im Rahmen des zwingenden Rechts ausgeschlossen.
• Schäden, die auf natürliche Abnutzung, Überlastung oder unsachgemässe Behandlung zurückzuführen sind,
werden von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
• Keine Garantie- oder Gewährleistungsansprüche bestehen bei Geräten, die vom Käufer umgebaut oder verändert
wurden.

Air heater LE 3000; LE 5000
Application
The Leister air heater is suitable for building into machines, installations and appliances and is designed
for continuous operation.
• Drying and heating processes of various types.
• Shrinking and welding packaging films and moulded parts.
• Heating conveyor ovens or heat tunnels.
• Activating and loosening solvent free adhesives and melt adhesives.
• Sterilizing of packaging materials such as bottles, corks and containers.
• Smoothing the coating on pills, putting a shine on chocolates and cosmetic articles.
• Separating and fusing synthetic fibres and fabrics.
• Soldering processes on thin metal parts.
• Soldering and de-soldering SMD and thru-hole components.
• Speeding up mixing processes and dissolving foams which can arise during mixing and filling containers.
• Welding thermoplastic materials.
• Removing plastic mould flash and putting a shine on plastic surfaces.
Warning
Danger of death when opening the device, as live parts and connections are
exposed. The device must be fully disconnected from the mains before opening it.
Danger of fire and explosion if air heaters are installed and used incorrectly,
especially in the vicinity of flammable materials and explosive gases.

Installation
• The device may only be installed by trained personnel.
• LE 3000 should be fixed by using four M4 screws on the connection housing (6).
• LE 5000 should be fixed by using four M5 screws on the installation stand (7).
• When installing the tool, ensure that:
– only cold air is sucked in
– no (warm air) back pressure develops
– the device is not subject to jets of hot air from another device.
• Protect the tool from vibration and shock.
• Installation dimensions, page 3 (Size).
Air supply
• Leister blowers must be used for the air supply (pay attention to the direction of rotation and the electrical connection).
• For use in a dusty environment the tool should be fitted with a Leister stainless steel filter on the air intake connection. Where
a particularly critical dust problem exists (eg metal, electrically charged or damp dust) special filters must be used to avoid
short circuiting the tool.
• The hot air tool should only be supplied with air up to a max. 50ºC.
• The minimum air flow must be observed (technical data, page 11).
Attention: always operate device with air supply !
Operation
• Connect tool to the mains.
• The power supply cord should have the corresponding cross section area of conductor and should be fitted by a specialist.
Danger of death when opening the device, as live parts and connections are exposed. The device
must be fully disconnected from the mains before opening it.
• As required, push-fit appropriate nozzle or reflector.
Danger – can cause burns! Do not touch the heating element tube and nozzle while they are hot.
Allow the device to cool. Do not direct hot-air jet towards people or animals.
• LE 3000
– Adjust the hot air temperature via the potentiometer (5).
– As required, reduce the air flow with the air regulating knob (4).
• LE 5000
– Adjust the hot air temperature via the potentiometer (5).
• Make sure that the hot air can flow freely (fire hazard).
Danger of fire and explosion if air heaters are installed and used incorrectly, especially in the
vicinity of flammable materials and explosive gases.
• The Leister Company, as well as the authorized Sales and Service Centres, oer advice and an introduction to the areas of
application of hot air tools, free of charge.
• After use, allow the tool to cool down by letting cold air flow through it (preventing warm air back pressure).
CAUTION:
• The mains connection should have a suitable double pole isolator with a 3 mm distance between contacts.
Accessories
• Only Leister accessories should be used.
• Accessories at www.leister.com
Let the tool cool down before changing the nozzle or reflector.
• Temperature control by additional Leister cascade controller (should only be fitted and adjusted by the Leister Company).

Service and repairs
• Repairs should only be carried out by authorised Leister Service Centres. They guarantee a correct and reliable
repair service within reasonable period, using original spare parts in accordance with the circuit diagrams and
spare parts lists.
Warranty
• For this tool, the guarantee or warranty rights granted by the relevant distributor/seller shall apply. In case of gu-
arantee or warranty claims any manufacturing or workmanship defects will either be repaired or replaced by the
distributor at its discretion. Warranty or guarantee rights have to be verified by an invoice or a delivery document.
Heating elements shall be excluded from warranty or guarantee.
• Additional guarantee or warranty claims shall be excluded, subject to mandatory provisions of law.
• Warranty or guarantee shall not apply to defects caused by normal wear and tear, overload or improper handling.
• Warranty or guarantee claims will be rejected for tools that have been altered or changed by the purchaser.

Applicazioni
I riscaldatori ad aria Leister sono adatti per l‘installazione in macchine, impianti o apparecchiature e
sono progettati per il funzionamento continuo.
• Processi di asciugatura e riscaldamento di qualsiasi genere.
• Termoretrazione e saldatura di pellicole d’imballaggio e pezzi sagomati.
• Riscaldamento di forni a tunnel e recipienti in genere.
• Attivazione e scioglimento di colle esenti da solventi e di colle a fusione.
• Sterilizzazione di materiali d’imballaggio quali bottiglie, turaccioli e contenitori.

Avvertenza

Montaggio
• Il montaggio dell‘apparecchio è consentito esclusivamente a personale specializzato.
• LE 3000 deve essere fissato con 4 viti M4 sulla carcassa (6).
• LE 5000 deve essere fissato con 4 viti M5 sulla base per montaggio (7).
• Il montaggio deve essere eseguito in modo da assicurare che:
– venga aspirata soltanto aria a temperatura ambiente
– non si crei ristagno (di calore)
– l’apparecchio ad aria calda non venga investito dall’aria calda emessa da un altro apparecchio
• l’apparecchio sia protetto da vibrazioni e scuotimenti.
• Misure di montaggio in mm pagina 3 (Size).
Alimentazione d’aria
•
Per l’alimentazione dell’aria impiegare unicamente soanti Leister (attenzione al senso di rotazione e all’allacciamento
elettrico).
• Se l’aria contiene polveri, applicare alla bocchetta d’aspirazione del soante un filtro in lega d’acciaio, fornito da Leister. Per
polveri particolarmente critiche (per es. metalliche, elettroconduttrici o umide) vi sono filtri speciali che evitano cortocircuiti
nell’apparecchio.
• Il riscaldatore d’aria deve essere alimentato soltanto con aria alla temperatura massima di 50°C.
• La quantità d’aria erogata non deve scendere sotto il minimo consentito (dati tecnici pagina 16).
Attenzione! Azionare sempre l‘apparecchio con l‘alimentazione dell‘aria.
Funzionamento
• Collegare l’apparecchio alla rete.
• Il cavo di collegamento deve avere i fili di sezione adeguata, fare attenzione che il collegamento venga eettuato a regola

Lasciar rareddare l‘apparecchio. Non orientare il getto di aria calda verso persone o animali.

– mpostare sul potenziometro (5) la temperatura dell’aria.
– Con la serranda (4) ridurre, se necessario, la quantità d’aria.
• LE 5000
– Impostare sul potenziometro (5) la temperatura dell’aria.
• Controllare che l’aria possa uscire liberamente (pericolo d’incendio).
È presente il pericolo di incendio e di esplosione in caso di installazione ed utilizzo non appropriati dei
riscaldatori ad aria, in particolare nelle vicinanze di materiali infiammabili e gas esplosivi.
• La ditta Leister e i relativi punti d’assistenza forniscono consulenza e istruzioni gratuite sugli impieghi dei riscaldatori d’aria.
• Dopo l’uso far rareddare l’apparecchio mediante passaggio di aria fredda (si evita ristagno di calore).
ATTENZIONE:
• Prevedere nel collegamento a rete un dispositivo per la disinserzione onnipo-lare della rete con 3 mm di distanza dei contatti.

centri di assistenza tecnica garantiscono un servizio di riparazione professionale ed affidabile con pezzi di
ricambio originali conformi agli schemi elettrici e agli specifici elenchi.
Garanzia legale
• A questo prodotto si applicano i diritti previsti per la garanzia concessi dal partner di distribuzione/rivenditore di-
retto, a partire dalla data di acquisto. In caso di ricorso alla garanzia (fanno fede la fattura o la bolla di consegna),
sono previste la fornitura sostitutiva o la riparazione di difetti di fabbricazione o di lavorazione a cura del partner
di distribuzione. La garanzia non si applica agli elementi riscaldanti.
• È esclusa qualsiasi ulteriore garanzia non espressamente prevista dalle vigenti norme di diritto cogente.

Instructions d’utilisation à lire trés attentivement avant mise en
marche et à conserver pour besoins ultérieurs
Chauffe-air LE 3000; LE 5000
Applications
Le chaue-air Leister est conçu pour montage sur machines, installations ou appareils et est prévu pour
travail en continu.
• Processus de séchage et de chauage de natures les plus diverses.
• Rétracter et souder des films d’embolloge et des pièces préformées.
• Chauer des tunnels ou armoires.
• Activer et décoller des colles sans solvant et des colles à chaud.
• Stériliser des articles d’emballage tels que bouteilles, bouchons (y compris romolissement) et récipients divers.
• Lisser des dragées, faire briller des chocolats ou des cosmétiques (y compris en éliminant bulles et bavures
de moulage).
• Séparer et faire fondre des fils et tissus synthétiques.
• Souder à l’étain sur feuillards fins.
• Souder et dessouder des CMS ou DIP.
• Accélérer des processus de mélange et supprimer des mousses et bulles provoquées par les mélongeurs-
agitciteurs ou aux remplissages.
• Souder les thermoplastiques.
• Supprimer des bavures d’injection en plastique et faire briller des surfaces plastiques.
Avertissement
Danger de mort à l’ouverture de l’appareil, car des composants et des liaisons
sous tension sont découverts. Avant d‘ouvrir l‘appareil, débranchez-le du secteur
sur tous les pôles.
Risque d’incendie et d’explosion en cas de montage et d’utilisation non conformes
de chaue-air, en particulier à proximité de matériaux inflammables et de gaz
explosifs.
Risque de brûlure ! Ne touchez pas le tuyau de la résistance et la buse s’ils
sont chauds. Laissez refroidir l’appareil. Ne dirigez pas le jet d’air chaud sur
les personnes ou les animaux.
Attention
La tension nominale indiquée sur l’appareil doit correspondre à la tension du secteur.
