3 ALWAYS use the unit only for its intended use as
described in this manual. Only use attachments recommended in this pack.
3 ALWAYS take care to avoid contact between hot
surfaces and bare skin, particularly at the face and neck.
3 ALWAYS ensure the appliance is switched off,
unplugged from the mains and it has cooled down before storing.
3 ALWAYS regularly check the mains cord for damage.
If damaged, discontinue use immediately and do not use until the appliance has been inspected and approved by a qualified electrician for repair to avoid a hazard.
3 ALWAYS clean before storing away. 3 ALWAYS keep mains cord away from hot or
heated surfaces.
3 ALWAYS store in the original box in a cool, dry place.
NEVER
7 NEVER use this product if it is not working
correctly, if it has been dropped or damaged or dropped into water or any other liquid or if it has a damaged plug or mains cord. If it has the unit must not be used.
7 NEVER wind the mains cord around the handle when
hot or while storing as this will damage the cord.
7 NEVER store while still connected to the mains.
7 NEVER use with wet hands. 7 NEVER use this product near bathrooms,
showers, basins or other vessels containing water and do not immerse in water or any other liquids.
7 NEVER place the unit near heat sensitive materials. 7 NEVER leave unattended when plugged in and
operating.
7 NEVER attempt repairs yourself. Repairs to
electrical appliances should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the user at serious risk and will invalidate the guarantee.
7 NEVER carry or suspend the appliance by the
power cord.
IMPORTANT SAFETY POINTS Read these instructions thoroughly before using this appliance or connecting to
the mains supply.
A 13 amp BS1362 ASTA approved fuse must be fitted. Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the
same as that indicated on the rating plate. Connecting it to any other power source may cause damage.
This product may be fitted with a non-rewirable plug. If it is necessary to change the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost or damaged, the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is obtained.
If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due to damage, it should be cut off and a replacement fitted, following the wiring instructions shown. The old plug must be disposed of safely because inserting it into a socket could cause an electrical hazard.
