These are usage instructions to help you familiarise yourself with your new purchase. All the documents accompanying the product must be read
attentively before using the product, preserved carefully and if the product is transferred to a third party, the documents must be handed over as well.
This ensures that maximum benet is drawn from the product and questions from users are anticipated before they arise.
Above all, comply with the warnings and safety instructions and dispose of the packaging material properly.
Under point 12 and 13 it is explained how the lamp head is separated from the Power Module and how the rear part of the shaft of the lamp is
unscrewed. Both actions described under point 13 and 14 must be carried out before initial use of the lamp; they are necessary in order to remove and
dispose of the two insulating lms (one on each side). These two lms serve as protection during transport of the "Safety Ytrion Cell" battery pack.
After taking off the insulating lms, you must screw the rear part to the middle part rst before pushing the switch button; otherwise the lamp might not
work properly. Now, you can screw the Power Module (rear part plus middle part) to the lamp head.

1. Battery set:
1 × Power Module (shaft including “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack); no other batteries or accumulators are permitted
2. Switching on and off
In the front section of the P17R, directly behind the wide head, the switch button is located. This switch button can be used to select different Light
Functions (see Point 6).
What is important here is that there are 2 ways of actuating the switch button:
a) Switching
The switch button is pressed beyond the pressure point, i.e. so deep that the switch clicks into place. A small sound, a click, can be heard.
b) Tapping
The switch button is only tapped briey and not as deeply as in a) above. As a result, the switch does not click into place, there is no click
audible and the switch remains in the starting position when it is released.
To switch on the P17R use the switch button as described under a. In order to use the Light Functions please read Point 6 “Light Functions”.
The descriptions above apply to the switch button directly behind the wide head.
Please do not confuse it with the switch button (see Point 9), which is formed by the two concentric charging contacts at the end of the torch.
3. Focus
The focus of the P17R can be quickly adjusted with the help of the so-called Speed Focus. For this purpose, hold the torch on the serrated middle
section rmly with one hand and with the other hand, push the wider lamp head in which the reector lens is located, to the front or to the back. By
doing this, you can adjust the light beam continuously variably to suit your needs.
4. Fast Lock
If required, a desired focus setting can be locked by means of the so-called Fast Lock. What this does is to prevent the focus setting from getting
accidentally changed. To do so, the lamp head must be turned left with respect to the shaft, i.e. in the direction of the legend “Lock” on the lamp head.
To release this xed setting and to once again allow the continuously variable setting of the focus (see Point 3), the lamp head has to be turned in the
other direction, i.e. the direction of the legend “Unlock”.
5. Smart Light Technology (SLT)
The P17R is equipped with our Smart Light Technology (SLT). Thanks to the use of a microcontroller, the light output of the LED can be controlled and
the user can use different Light Functions. By using a single switch it was possible to design the interface to be simple and user-friendly. The pocket
torch can give the user light in different ways. There are three Light Functions available. To switch the pocket torch on and off and to select the various
Light Functions, the switch in its front section has to be used. Here, the switch is used in the two ways described above in Point 2.
What basically applies is that the brightness of the P17R is monitored by the in-built temperature control unit.
6. Light Functions
The 3 Light Functions are chosen at the switch button as follows:
6.1. Light Program Power
The P17R is turned on by switching 1 time. Then you have full brightness (Power). One more switching operation and the lamp is off.
6.2 Light Program Low Power
If you tap the switch button on the lamp head 1 time and switch then within one second the P17R will have reduced brightness (Low Power).
Another possibility to have the reduced brightness is to switch 3 times fast.
6.3 Light Program Strobe
If you tap the switch button on the lamp head 2 times and switch then within one second the P17R is in the Light Function Strobe and ashes quickly
(Strobe).
Another possibility to activate Light Function Strobe is to switch 5 times fast.
7. Emergency Mode / Emergency Light Function
When the Emergency Mode is activated, the P17R has an emergency light function. For this purpose, the mode has to be activated and the P17R
has to be connected to the charger (position light at the charger glows blue, see Point 9). In this case, the pocket torch automatically goes on when
the electric supply that is providing energy to the charger fails. If positioned meaningfully, the P17R, when it is glowing, can facilitate quickly nding an
escape route in an emergency, or the lamp can be quickly found and picked up, already on. If this function is active, the P17R glows automatically even
if the charging process is interrupted by removing the P17R. Therefore, the function can also be used when the P17R has to be ready for immediate
use.
To set the "Emergency Mode", tap the switch button 6 times, followed by a switching operation. The P17R glows in the Light Function "Power"
for a moment, rst it blinks 2 or 4 times, then the light turns off. When it blinks 4 times, the "Emergency Mode" is activated; if it ashes twice, the
"Emergency Mode" is disabled. If this procedure is carried out again, the setting toggles between activated and disable- it signals this by blinking.
No matter if the "Emergency Mode" setting is activated or disabled, after the light turns off, the switch is still in the "on" setting. In order to take the next
step, the lamp has to be switched off rst.
8. Reset function
If the Power Module (shaft with “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack) is unscrewed completely at the head and the two parts are screwed together again
only after a little while, you have "reset" the P17R. You have an activated Emergency Mode (see Point 7) then.
9. Charging
The Power Module (shaft without lamp head) contains the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack, the accumulator.
Charge your P17R only in a dry place.

For charging, connect the mains plug on one side to the accompanying charger (Input: 100 V to 240 V / 50 Hz to 60 Hz) and on the other side, to a
power socket. Then connect the extension cable of the charger to the cable of the magnetic charging socket, whose blue position light then starts
to glow. You can now connect the concentric charging contacts at the end of the P17R to the magnetic charging socket. When the lamp has been
correctly connected, the charging display glows red (see Point 10) and the charging starts. The Power Module (shaft with the “Safety Ytrion Cell”
battery pack) with the unscrewed lamp head can also be charged.
See the following section on the subject of the charging indicators (see Point 10) for more information.
Note – Please ensure that there is no short-circuit at the charging contacts. The charging contacts may not be touched with moist or metallic objects.
The magnetic charging socket can also be inserted in the cylindrical part of the charger bracket, which is a part of the supplied kit, and then locked in
place by turning a couple of times in the counter-clockwise direction like a bayonet catch. The lock is released by rotating in the other direction. The
bracket can be fastened on the wall with dowels (not scope of delivery) in such a way that the blue position lamp of the magnetic charging socket, for
example, glows downwards. Please use a sufcient number (min. 4 pieces) and suitable dowels, depending on the material of the wall.
The orientation described suggests itself when you wish to use the Emergency Module / Emergency Light function (see point 7) since the P17R glows
upwards in case of a power failure. On the other side of the bracket, the P17R can be joined to the bracket with 2 rubber rollers and xed permanently
by using the rubber gusset that is located at the level of the two rubber rollers. The latter suggests itself if there are acceleration forces acting on the
P17R. In this manner, the P17R can be xed in the bracket inside the vehicle if the charger bracket is xed permanently to a vehicle.
Using an optionally available car charger connection, the P17R can also be charged at the cigarette lighter and sockets in the vehicle. These
accessory units match themselves automatically to the respective input voltage (12 V to 24 V).
10 Charge indication
Approx. 2 cm before the end of the shaft of the P17R, there is a narrow ring, which, during the charging process, indicates the charge status of the
battery through lamps of different colours.
Red (glowing continuously) – charging ongoing.
Green (glowing continuously) – Charging completed, the P17R is ready for use with the full capacity of the battery. It generally takes 2 to 3 hours for an
empty P17R to get fully charged.
No light– The cause of this can be that the Floating Charge System
contact. Therefore, check whether (magnetic) objects or dirt are hindering a good contact between the charging contacts at the end of the P17R and
the magnetic charging socket. If required, remove them. If required, also correct the position or the angle of the P17R in the charging socket. If, given
an adequate electric power supply, the charge indicators still do not glow, immediately isolate the transformer or the optional car charger of the P17R
from the present power supply system and get in touch with your dealer.
11. 360° Power Indicator
The 360° Power Indicator consists of 10 blue-glowing elements, which are arranged in a circle around the two concentric charging contacts at the end
of the shaft of the P17R.
During use, the number of blue-glowing elements reduces further and just before the Power Module is empty, the last element glows in red.
Depending on when the charging contacts are pressed, the following can be determined from the number of elements glowing.
1.) Battery status indication
If the charging contacts are pressed while the P17R is off, the elements serve as a battery status indication. If, for example, all the 10 elements
briey glow blue, the P17R is fully charged.
2.) Operating time indication
If the charging contacts of the P17R are pressed while the P17R is being operated with a Light Function, the number of glowing elements
provides an indication of the remaining relative lighting duration of the current Light Function.
The P17R also shows this information for a brief moment when a light function has been selected by tapping or switching at the switch button, i.e.
even without the 360° Power Indicator having been actuated.
12. Changing the Power Module
Please charge the rechargeable battery in time. If the Power Module exhibits any atypical behaviour, please change it. For changing this accumulator,
please rst switch off the pocket torch without fail, and unscrew the part behind the switch button. You have thus separated the lamp head from the
Power Module (shaft including “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack). For the disposal of the used Power Module, please read Point 13.
Screw on a new Power Module onto the lamp head till it cannot be turned any more. Thanks to the innovative new contact system and the xed
connection between the lamp shaft and the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack (Power Module), transposition of the polarity is not possible.
13. Rechargeable batteries / Accumulators
Only the correspondingly approved LED LENSER Power Module, consisting of the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack and shaft, may be used in this
pocket torch. The Power Module was developed to ensure the highest level of safety and benet.
If you have separated the used Power Module from the lamp head as described in Point 12, please unscrew the rear part of the shaft at the level of
the charge indication. You will then see a PCB of the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack on this side as well, upon looking into the tube. The PCB is held
in place on this side in the shaft by a narrow plastic ring with thread. For removing the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack from the shaft, unscrew this
plastic ring from the shaft. For doing so, use the two grooves in the plastic ring that are displaced 180° from one another but make sure that you do not
short circuit the contacts of the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack. The “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack can now be easily removed and disposed of in
keeping with the national laws. The shaft can be disposed of in the domestic trash.
In contrast to the Power Module (shaft with “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack), a replacement of a “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack in a Power Module
may not be carried out. Neither is it permitted, after removal of the “Safety Ytrion Cell” battery pack, to charge it in any other manner or instead, to use
accumulators or batteries in the Power Module. The Power Module may only be opened once, for separate disposal of the Ytrion Cell battery pack and
the shaft; otherwise, the manufacturer’s warranty will be rendered null and void.
In general, for the disposal of batteries as well as particularly for Lithium batteries, accumulators and accumulator packs, the applicable rule is that
they may only be disposed of in discharged state and in a technically correct manner. If they are not discharged, then before disposal, by sticking nonconducting adhesive tape over the contacts, it has to be ensured that short-circuits are not possible.
Basically, the possibility of short-circuits of accumulators and batteries must be eliminated and they may neither be opened, nor enter the human body
in any way, nor may they be thrown into a re.
14. Cleaning
For cleaning, please use a dry, lint-free clean cloth.
If salt water is spilled on the lamp, it must be immediately entirely removed with such a cloth.
If the reector lens has got loose in the lamp head or, e.g. dirt has got deposited on its inner side, you can apply the following remedial measures.
The foremost one centimetre of the P17R, with the 12 indicated holes along the periphery, can be unscrewed. There is a plastic ring that xes
the reector lens in it, and it can be tightened or removed for cleaning. You can clean the reector lens if required, with a dry, lint-free clean cloth.
Thereafter, please assemble everything in the opposite sequence.
15. Scope of delivery

16. Caution:
Do not swallow any small parts or batteries that are present. The products or parts thereof (including batteries) must be stored outside the reach of
children.
For reasons of safety and approval (CE), the product must not be modied and/or changed. The product is to be used exclusively as a pocket torch.
If the P17R is used for any other purpose, or used incorrectly, it can get damaged and hazard-free use is not guaranteed any more (danger from re,
short-circuit, electric shock etc.). There is then no liability for harm to persons or damage to property, and the warranty of the manufacturer is also
rendered null and void.
The temperature range in which the P17R can be operated is -20 C° to +50 C°. Ensure that the P17R is not subjected to extreme temperatures,
intense vibrations, explosive atmosphere, solvents and/or vapours. Also continuously exposed to direct sunlight, high humidity and/or moisture have to
be avoided.
Changes, repairs and maintenance over and above those described in the documents accompanying the product may only be carried out by
authorised technical personnel.
Once it is found that the product is charged and correctly screwed/closed, but nonetheless, normal, safe operation is not possible or the product shows
damage, it must be rendered inoperative and not used any further. In this case, for warranty matters, contact your dealer.
17. Safety instructions
• This product is not a children's toy.
• Since it has small parts that can be swallowed, it is not suitable for persons below 5 years.
• The article may not be used for examinations of the eyes (e.g. for the so-called pupil test).
• When using it, the accumulation of heat, e.g. by covering, must be avoided.
• If the product does not work correctly, the rst thing that must be checked is whether this is due to a discharged battery or because the shaft and the
lamp head are not screwed tight enough together.
• If using in trafc, please follow the respective legal regulations.
• Owing to the permanent magnet in the magnetic charging socket of the Floating Charge System
example, heart pacemakers or magnetic storage media.
The hazard that poses the main threat in this product through optical radiation is the Blue-Light-Hazard (400 nm to 780 nm). Thermal hazard threshold
values are clearly not reached.
The risk for the viewer depends on the use or on how the product is installed. However, there is no optical hazard as long as the aversion responses
limit the time of exposure and as long as the information contained in this instruction manual is observed.
The aversion reactions are triggered by the exposure and they are to mean all natural reactions that protect the eye from hazards through optical
radiation. This includes in particular conscious aversion reactions such as eye or head movement (e.g. turning away).
When using the product it is of particular importance to bear in mind that the aversion reactions of persons at whom the light is directed at may be
weakened or completely suspended as a result of medication, drugs or illness.
Because of the blinding effect of the product, improper use may lead to reversible, i.e. temporary impairment of sight (physiological blinding) or
afterimages, or it may trigger feeling unwell in the sense of feeling queasy and tired (physiological blinding). The intensity of the temporary feeling of
being unwell or the time until it subsides depend primarily on the difference in brightness between the blinding-light source and the surrounding area.
Photosensitive persons in particular ought to consult a medical consultant prior to using this product.
As a matter of principle the rule is that high-intensity light sources carry a high secondary hazard potential due to their blinding effect. Just like
looking into other bright light sources (e.g. headlights of a car), the temporary limited impairment of vision and afterimages may lead to irritation,
inconveniences, impairments and even accidents, depending on the situation.
The information applies to the use of a single product. If more light-emitting products of the same type or of a different type are used together, the
intensity of the optical radiation may increase.
Every longer viewing/eye-contact with the source of radiation of this product by the user or other persons, with and without other light-bundling
instruments, is to be avoided as a matter of principle! Instead, the eyes are to be closed deliberately in such cases and the head ought to be turned
away from the light beam.
In case of a commercial use or the product’s use by public bodies, the user must be instructed as to all applicable laws and regulations that correspond
to the individual case of usage.
Important rules of conduct:
• Do not aim the light beam directly into the eyes of a person.
• The user or any other person should not look directly into the light beam.
• In the event of optical radiation hitting the eye, the eyes must deliberately shut and the head is to be turned away from the beam.
• The instruction manual and this information must be stored safely and must be passed on together with the product.
• It is prohibited to look straight into the light that is being emitted by this product.

Unter Punkt 12 und Punkt 13 wird erläutert, wie der Lampenkopf vom Power Modul getrennt wird und der hintere Teil des Lampenschaftes
abgeschraubt wird.
Beides muss vor der ersten Verwendung durchgeführt werden, damit die beiden Isolierfolien (einer auf jeder Seite) entfernt und entsorgt werden
können. Diese zwei Isolierfolien dienen als Schutz beim Transport des "Safety Ytrion Cell" Batteriepacks zum Endkunden.
Nach dem Entfernen der beiden Isolierfolien vermeiden Sie bitte beim nachfolgendem Zusammenbau der Lampe den Schalter zu drücken. Als erstes
schrauben Sie bitte den hintere Teil des Lampenschaftes mit dem Mittelteil zusammen andererseits funktioniert die Taschenlampe möglicherweise
nicht richtig. Dann schrauben Sie das Power Module (Lampenschaft mit „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack darin) an den Lampenkopf.

1. Batteriesatz:

2. Ein - und Ausschalten
Im vorderen Bereich der P17R, direkt hinter dem breiten Kopf, bendet sich der Schalterknopf. Mit diesem können schnell verschiedene
Lichtfunktionen ausgewählt werden.
Wichtig bei der Verwendung des Schalterknopfs ist, dass es 2 verschiedene Arten gibt ihn zu betätigen:
a) Schalten
Der Schalterknopf wird über den Druckpunkt hinaus gedrückt, also so tief, dass der Schalter einrastet. Ein leises Geräusch, ein Klicken, ist zu
vernehmen.
b) Antippen
Der Schalterknopf wird nur kurz leicht angetippt und nicht so tief gedrückt wie unter a. Dadurch rastet der Schalter nicht ein, es ist kein Klicken
zu vernehmen, und der Schalter bleibt nach dem Loslassen in der Ausgangsposition.
Zum Einschalten verwenden Sie den Schalter, wie unter a) beschrieben. Für die Nutzung der Lichtfunktionen lesen Sie bitte Abschnitt 6
„Lichtfunktionen“.
Die vorangegangenen Ausführungen gelten für den Schalterknopf direkt hinter dem breiten Kopf im vorderen Bereich der P17R. Bitte verwechseln Sie
diesen nicht mit dem Schalterknopf (siehe Pkt. 9), den die beiden konzentrischen Ladekontakte am Ende der Taschenlampe bilden.
3. Fokus
Der Fokus der Taschenlampe kann mit Hilfe des sogenannten Speed Focus schnell verstellt werden. Halten Sie hierzu die Taschenlampe am
geriffelten Mittelteil mit einer Hand fest und schieben Sie mit der anderen Hand den breiteren Lampenkopf, in dem sich die Reektorlinse bendet,
nach vorne oder nach hinten. Hierdurch können Sie den Lichtstrahl wunschgemäß stufenlos einstellen.
4. Fast Lock
Bei Bedarf kann eine gewünschte Fokus-Stellung mit Hilfe des sogenannten Fast Lock arretiert werden. Hierdurch wird verhindert, dass sich diese
Stellung versehentlich verstellt. Hierzu muss der Lampenkopf relativ zum Lampenschaft nach links, also in Richtung des Schriftzuges „Lock“ auf dem
Lampenkopf, gedreht werden. Um diese Feststellung wieder zu lösen und das stufenlose Verstellen des Fokus (siehe Pkt. 3) wieder zu ermöglichen,
muss der Lampenkopf in die andere, in die Richtung des Schriftzugs „Unlock“, gedreht werden.
5. Smart Light Technology (SLT)
Die P17R ist mit unserer Smart Light Technology (SLT) ausgestattet. Durch die Verwendung eines Mikrocontrollers können verschiedene
Lichtfunktionen vom Anwender genutzt werden. Indem ein Durch den Einzelschalter wurde eine einfach und anwenderfreundlich Schnittstelle möglich.
Die Taschenlampe kann dem Nutzer Licht in unterschiedlichen Stärken und auf verschiedene Art und Weise bereitstellen. Es stehen insgesamt 3
Lichtfunktionen zur Verfügung. Um die Taschenlampe an- und auszuschalten bzw. um die verschiedenen Lichtfunktionen auszuwählen, wird der
Schalter im vorderen Bereich der Taschenlampe verwendet. Hierbei wird der Schalter auf die zwei oben unter Pkt. 2 beschriebenen Arten verwendet.
Grundsätzlich gilt, dass die Helligkeit der P17R über die eingebaute Temperatur-Kontroll-Einheit überwacht wird.
6. Lichtfunktionen
Die 3 Lichtfunktionen wählen sie am Schalterknopf wie folgt aus:
6.1. Lichtfunktion Power
Die P17R wird durch einmaliges Schalten eingeschaltet (1x Schalten) und leuchtet dann mit voller Helligkeit. Nach einem weiteren Schalten ist die
Taschenlampe wieder ausgeschaltet.
6.2. Lichtfunktion Low Power:
Sie tippen 1x an und schalten dann 1x innerhalb ca. einer Sekunden. Die Lampe leuchtet nun mit reduzierter Helligkeit (Low Power).
Dies funktioniert auch, wenn Sie 3x schnell hintereinander schalten.
6.3. Lichtfunktion Strobe:
Sie tippen 2x an und schalten 1x innerhalb ca. einer Sekunden. Die Lampe bendet sich nun in der Lichtfunktion Strobe und blinkt mit hoher Frequenz.
Dies funktioniert auch, wenn Sie 5x entsprechend schnell hintereinander schalten.
7. Emergency Mode / Notlichtfunktion
Wenn der Emergency Mode aktiviert ist, hat die P17R eine Notlichtfunktion. Hierfür muss dieses aktiviert sein und die P17R mit der angeschlossenen
Ladebuchse (Positionslicht an der Ladebuchse leuchtet blau, siehe Pkt. 9) verbunden sein. In diesem Fall geht die Taschenlampe automatisch an,
wenn das Netz, welches das Ladegerät mit Strom versorgt, ausfällt. Bei einer sinnvollen Positionierung besteht auf diese Weise die Möglichkeit,
dass die so leuchtende P17R z.B. das schnelle Finden eines Fluchtweges gewährleisten oder das die Lampe selbst schnell gefunden und bereits
angeschaltet entnommen werden kann. Ist diese Funktion aktiv leuchtet die P17R auch dann automatisch wenn der Ladevorgang durch Entnahme der
P17R unterbrochen wird. Diese Funktion bietet sich deshalb auch an, wenn die P17R blitzschnell einsatzbereit sein muss.
Zum Einstellen des Emergency Mode tippen Sie den Schalterknopf 6x und schalten die P17R an. Sie leuchtet dann in der Lichtfunktion Power
mit voller Helligkeit für einen Augenblick und blinkt dann 2x oder 4x. Wenn sie 4x blinkt, ist der Emergency Mode aktiviert; wenn sie 2x blinkt, ist
der Emergency Mode deaktiviert. Wird diese Prozedur erneut durchgeführt, wechselt die Einstellung wieder zwischen aktiviert und deaktiviert und
signalisiert dieses durch entsprechendes Blinken.
8. Reset Funktion
Wenn das Power Modul (Lampenschaft mit „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack) vom Kopf abgedreht wird und erst nach einiger Zeit beide Teile wieder
verschraubt werden, haben Sie die P17R „resettet“. Sie haben dann den Emergency Mode (siehe Pkt. 7) aktiviert.

9. Auaden
Das Power-Modul (Lampenschaft ohne Lampenkopf) beinhaltet den „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack, den Akkumulator.
Laden Sie Ihre P17R nur in trockenen Räumen auf.
Zum Auaden Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker auf der einen Seite mit dem mitgelieferten Ladegerät (Input: 100 V bis 240 V / 50 Hz bis 60 Hz) und auf
der anderen Seite mit einer Steckdose. Dann verbinden Sie das Verlängerungskabel des Ladegerätes mit dem Kabel der magnetischen Ladenbuchse,
deren blaues Orientierungslicht dann leuchtet. Sie können nun die konzentrischen Ladekontakte am Ende der P17R mit der magnetischen Ladebuchse
verbinden. Wenn die Lampe richtig eingelegt ist, leuchtet die Ladeanzeige rot (siehe Pkt. 10) und der Ladevorgang beginnt. Auch das Power Modul
(Lampenschaft mit „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack) ohne den abgedrehtem Lampenkopf kann geladen werden.
Weitere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte dem folgenden Abschnitt zum Thema Ladeanzeige (Pkt. 10).
Hinweis – Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass es nicht zum Kurzschluss an den Ladekontakten kommen kann. Die Ladekontakte dürfen nicht mit feuchten
oder metallischen Gegenständen berührt werden.
Die magnetische Ladebuchse kann auch in den zylindrischen Teil der Ladehalterung, die Teil des Lieferumfanges ist, eingeführt werden und dann
ähnlich einem Bajonettverschluss durch ein Drehen um ein paar Grad im Gegenuhrzeigersinn arretiert werden. Gelöst wird die Arretierung durch
Drehung in die andere Richtung. Die Halterung kann mit Dübeln (nicht im Lieferunfang) so an der Wand befestigt werden, dass das blaue Positionslicht
der magnetischen z.B. nach unten leuchtet. Bitte verwenden Sie, abhängig vom Wandmaterial, Dübel in angemessener Anzahl (min. 4 Stk.) und
Qualität. Die beschriebene Orientierung bietet sich an, wenn Sie die Emergency Mode / Notlichtfunktion (siehe Pkt. 7) nutzen wollen, da die P17R im
Fall einer Stromunterbrechung nach oben leuchtet. Auf der anderen Seite der Halterung kann die P17R über die 2 Gummiwalzen mit der Halterung
verbunden werden und durch Nutzen der Gummilasche, die sich auf Höhe der beiden Gummiwalzen bendet, dauerhaft xiert werden. Letzteres bietet
sich an, wenn auf die P17R Beschleunigungskräfte wirken. Auf diese Weise kann die P17R in einem Fahrzeug in die Halterung eingefügt werden,
wenn die Ladehalterung fest mit dem Fahrzeug verbunden ist.
Über eine optional erhältlichen Autoladeanschluss kann die P17R auch an Zigarettenanzündern und Steckdosen in Fahrzeugen geladen werden.
Dieses Zubehör passt sich automatisch der jeweiligen Eingangsspannung (12 V / 24 V) an.
10 Ladeanzeige
Circa 2 cm vor dem Ende des Lampenschaftes der P17R bendet sich ein schmaler Ring, der während des Ladevorgangs durch Leuchten in
verschiedenen Farben den Ladestatus des Akkumulators anzeigt.
Rot (Dauerlicht) - Ladevorgang läuft
Grün (Dauerlicht) - Ladevorgang abgeschlossen; die P17R ist mit voller Kapazität des Akkumulators einsatzbereit. Es dauert in der Regel 2 bis 3
Stunden bis eine leere P17R vollgeladen ist.
Kein Licht – Ursache hierfür kann sein, dass das Floating Charge System
dass ein Kontaktproblem besteht; prüfen Sie deswegen, ob (magnetische) Gegenstände oder Schutz einen einwandfreien Ladekontakt zwischen
den Ladekontakten am Ende der P17R und der magnetischen Ladebuchse verhindern. Entfernen Sie diese gegebenenfalls. Korrigieren Sie unter
Umständen auch die Position bzw. den Winkel der P17R in der Ladebuchse. Sollte dennoch, ausreichende Stromversorgung vorausgesetzt, die
Ladeanzeige nicht leuchten, trennen Sie den Trafo bzw. den optionalen Autoladeanschluss (12 V / 24 V) der P17R umgehend vom Netz und nehmen
Sie Kontakt mit Ihrem Händler auf.
11. 360° Power Indicator
Der 360° Power Indicator besteht aus 10 blau leuchtenden Elementen, die kreisförmig um die beiden konzentrischen Ladekontakten am Ende des
Lampenschaftes der P17R angeordnet sind.
Während der Benutzung reduziert sich die Anzahl der blau leuchtenden Elemente immer weiter und kurz bevor das Power Modul leer ist leuchtet das
letzte Element in rot.
Abhängig davon, wann die Ladekontakte gedrückt werden, kann durch die Anzahl der leuchtenden Elemente folgendes ermittelt werden:
1.) Akkuzustandsanzeige
Werden die Ladekontakte gedrückt wenn die P17R ausgeschaltet ist, dienen die Elemente als Akkuzustandsanzeige. Wenn z.B. alle 10
Elemente kurz blau leuchten, ist die P17R noch voll aufgeladen.
2.) Laufzeitanzeige
Werden die Ladekontakte der P17R gedrückt, wenn die P17R mit einer Lichtfunktion betrieben wird, gibt die Anzahl der leuchtenden Elemente
einen Hinweis auf die verbleibende relative Leuchtdauer der aktuellen Lichtfunktion.
Diese Information zeigt die P17R auch einen kurzen Augenblick an, wenn eine Lichtfunktion durch Antippen oder Schalten am „Fast Action
Switch“ ausgewählt wurde, also auch ohne eine Betätigung des 360° Power Indicators.
12. Wechseln des Power Moduls
Bitte laden Sie die auadbare Batterie rechtzeitig auf. Verhält sich das Power Modul untypisch, wechseln Sie dieses bitte. Zum Wechseln des
Akkumulators schalten Sie unbedingt zuerst die Taschenlampe aus und schrauben Sie dann den Teil hinter dem Schalterknopf ab. Auf diese Weise
trennen Sie den Lampenkopf vom Power Modul (Lampenschaft mit „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack). Für die Entsorgung des verbrauchten Power
Moduls lesen Sie bitte Pkt. 13.
Schrauben Sie ein neues Power Modul bis zum Anschlag auf den Lampenkopf . Durch das neuartige Kontaktsystem und die feste Verbindung
zwischen Lampenschaft und „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack (Power Modul) kann es keine Verwechslung bezüglich der Polarität geben.
13. Auf ladbare Batterien / Akkumulatoren
In dieser Taschenlampe darf nur das entsprechend zugelassene LED LENSER Power Modul, welches aus dem „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack und
Lampenschaft besteht, verwendet werden. Das Power Modul wurde entwickelt, um höchste Sicherheit und Nutzen zu gewährleisten.
Wenn Sie das verbrauchte Power Modul wie unter Pkt. 12 beschrieben vom Lampenkopf getrennt haben, drehen Sie bitte den hinteren Teil des
Lampenschaftes auf Höhe der Ladeanzeige ab. Sie können dann auch auf dieser Seite beim Blick in die Röhre eine Platine des „Safety Ytrion Cell“
Batteriepack sehen, der auf dieser Seite durch einen schmalen Kunststoffring mit Gewinde in dem Lampenschaft gehalten wird. Zur Entnahme
des „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack aus dem Lampenschaft drehen Sie bitte diesen Kunststoffring aus dem Schaft heraus. Nutzen Sie hierfür die
beiden, um 180° versetzten, Nuten in dem Kunststoffring. Stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass Sie nicht die Kontakte des „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack
kurzschließen. Das „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack kann nun einfach entnommen und entsprechend der nationalen Gesetzgebung entsorgt werden.
Der Lampenschaft kann über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Im Gegensatz zum Power Modul (Lampenschaft mit „Safety Ytrion Cell“) darf ein Wechsel eines „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack in einem Power
Modul nicht erfolgen. Es ist auch nicht zulässig, nach der Entnahme des „Safety Ytrion Cell“ Batteriepack diesen anderweitig zu laden oder stattdessen
andere Akkumulatoren oder Batterien in das Power Modul einzusetzen. Das Power Modul darf nur einmal zur getrennten Entsorgung des Ytrion Cell
Batteriepack und des Lampenschaftes geöffnet werden; bei Zuwiderhandlung erlischt die Gewährleistung des Herstellers.
Allgemein gilt für die Entsorgung von Batterien sowie insbesondere von Lithiumbatterien, Akkus und Akkupacks, dass diese nur im entladenen Zustand
und fachgerecht entsorgt werden dürfen. Für den Fall, dass diese nicht entladen sind, muss vor der Entsorgung, z.B. durch das Überkleben der
Kontakte durch nichtleitendes Klebeband, sichergestellt werden, dass es nicht zu Kurzschlüssen kommen kann.
Grundsätzlich gilt, dass Kurzschlüsse von Akkus und auch Batterien auszuschließen sind und diese weder geöffnet werden, noch in den Körper
gelangen oder ins Feuer geworfen werden dürfen.
14. Reinigung
Zur Reinigung verwenden Sie bitte ein trockenes fusselloses sauberes Tuch.
Kommt die Lampe mit Salzwasser in Kontakt, so entfernen Sie das Salzwasser umgehend komplett mit einem solchen Tuch.

Wenn sich die Reektorlinse im Lampenkopf gelöst oder z.B. Schmutz auf deren Innenseite abgesetzt hat, empehlt sich folgende Vorgehensweise
zur Behebung.
Drehen Sie den vordersten Zentimeter der P17R mit den 12 angedeuteten Bohrungen am Umfang hierfür ab. Ein Kunststoffring xiert darin die
Reektorlinse und kann festgezogen bzw. zur Reinigung herausgedreht werden. Die Reektorlinse können Sie dann bei Bedarf mit einem trockenen
fussellosen sauberen Tuch reinigen. Danach setzten Sie bitte alles in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder zusammen.
15. Zubehör
Die P17R wird mit folgendem Zubehör ausgeliefert:

16. Achtung:
Enthaltene Kleinteile oder Batterien nicht verschlucken. Diese Artikel oder Teile davon (inkl. Batterien) sind außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern
aufzubewahren.
Das Produkt darf aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) nicht umgebaut und/oder verändert werden. Der Artikel ist ausschließlich als
Taschenlampe zu verwenden. Wird die P17R zweckentfremdet oder unsachgemäß verwendet, kann sie beschädigt werden und ein gefahrloser

Der Temperaturbereich in dem die P17R betrieben werden kann, ist -20 C° bis +50 C°. °. Tragen Sie dafür Sorge, dass die P17R nicht extremeren
Temperaturen, starken Erschütterungen, explosiven Atmosphären, Lösungsmittel und/oder Dämpfen ausgesetzt wird.
Auch dauerhaftes direktes Sonnenlicht, hohe Feuchtigkeit und/oder Nässe sollten vermieden werden
Änderungen, Reparaturen und Wartungen, die über die Hinweise in den dem Artikel beigefügten Dokumenten hinausgehen, dürfen nur von
autorisiertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Wenn sichergestellt ist, dass der Artikel aufgeladen und richtig verschraubt/verschlossen ist, aber dennoch ein normaler sicherer Betrieb nicht möglich

17. Sicherheitshinweise

• Durch den Dauermagneten in der magnetischen Ladebuchse des Floating Carge System
zu Herzschrittmacher oder magnetischen Speichermedien haben.
Die am meisten einschränkende Gefährdung dieses Artikels durch optische Strahlung ist die Blaulichtgefährdung (400 nm bis 780 nm). Die Grenzwerte
einer thermischen Gefährdung sind deutlich unterschritten.
Die Gefährdung für den Betrachter hängt von der Nutzung bzw. Installation des Artikels ab. Eine optische Gefährdung besteht aber nicht, solange
Abwendungsreaktionen die Expositionsdauer begrenzen und die Hinweise in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beachtet werden.
