SM Series Belt Clips

Stainless Steel Wire Spring-Loaded Metal

• Stainless Steel Spring Clip

The spring wire belt clip allows the transmitter to be worn
on a belt or other wardrobe item where a low profile is
required. Three models are available:

SMBCUP

The antenna points
UP when the
transmitter is worn
on a belt. For single­battery SM Series
transmitters.

SMBCDN

The antenna points
DOWN when the
transmitter is worn
on a belt. For single­battery SM Series
transmitters.

• Machined Aluminum Bracket

• Machined Aluminum Spring-Loaded Clip

The spring-loaded machined aluminum clip has the same
type of attachment collar as the wire clip, and installs in
the very same manner, but provides better retention than
the wire clip. Three models are available:

SMBCUPSL

The antenna points

For dual-battery

Two detents in the flat side of
the housing align the belt clips.
Align the bracket so the set
screw seats into the detent and

Align the set screws with the detents in the back cover,
and tighten them with the supplied hex key until they are
snug.

Do not overtighten the set screws.

Early single battery models did
not have detents, so the bracket
must be aligned manually.

The housing on dual bat­tery models is symmetri­cal, so the bracket can
be positioned on either
the top or bottom of the
transmitter to orient the
antenna accordingly.

Detents are provided in
the back cover to align
with the set screws in the
belt clip.
