Disposal of old appliances
Before disposin g of an old appliance , make sure that you
have broken off, or disabled any locking mechanism s to
prevent childre n becomin g accidentall y locked inside.
Remove any plugs and power leads to ensure that the
appliance is inoperative.

bearing it may not be dispose d of with household
waste.
The refrigeration system contains insulating gases and
refrigeran t which will require specialist disposal. Most
component s can be recycled . Alway s contac t your local
council or authorit y for informatio n regardin g the correct
disposal/remo val of old appliances, do not dispos e of with
household waste.

When disposin g of an old applia nce make sure

the pipe work does not become damaged.

All of the packagin g supplied with your applianc e can be
recycled, or disposed of withou t any harm to the
environment.

d maybe crushed ,orcut into smalle r pieces if
required for recycling or disposal . The polythen e and
polystyrene included contai n no CFC’s, and are
environmentally friendly.
