Important Safety Precautions
Before connecting the appliance, please check whether the
voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the main voltage in your home.
Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquid. Do not overload outlets or extension cords. It can result in fire. This product must not be left unattended while it is connected
to the main supply.
Use only original accessories supplied, if not it may result in fire,
electric shock or personal injuries.
Never touch the cup warming tray before it completely cools down. Never use your coffee maker without adding water in it. This coffee maker is intended for indoor and household use only;
not for outdoor, commercial and industrial use.
Do not pull the cord to remove the plug from wall socket, pull on
the plug instead.
Do not attempt to insert or remove the plug with wet hands. Do not place the appliance on or near hot gas / electric burner, or a
heated oven.
Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter or touch any
hot surfaces.
In the event of not using the appliance for a long period of time,
please remove the plug from the power outlet.
This appliance should not be used by the physically challenged,
slow response or mentally disabled people (including children) unless guidance is provided during operation.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Repairs and services should always be carried out by authorized Customer Care/Service Centre.
How to Operate Your Espresso Coffee Machine
Before Using for the First Time
1. Remove any adhesive stickers and foreign objects before use.
2. The water tank, coffee filter, measuring spoon and funnel can
be washed in warm soapy water.
3. Fill in water up to maximum 1500ml into water tank.
4. Set coffee filter into metal funnel (without adding coffee).
Ensure that the funnel tube is aligned with the groove. Insert the metal funnel into the appliance from the “Insert” position and turn it anti-clockwise direction until it is at “Lock position.
5. Put a cup on the removable shelf. Ensure that the operating
knob is on "O" (stand by) position and switch on the appliance by pressing the On/Off button, the power indicator light (yellow) will be illuminated, indicating that the machine is in heating mode. Wait until the ready indicator light (green) is illuminated indicating preheat is finished, and rotate the operating knob to " " position. The water will flow out.
6. Once all the water has passed through, switch off the appliance
and let it cool down for about 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with water again. It is advisable to carry out 2-3 pre-boil processes with water (without coffee).
Pre-heating
1. Suggestion: Preheat the appliance before making any espresso
coffee for best taste result.
2. Fill in the water tank and put on the funnel. Then place a cup
on the removable shelf.
3. Connect to power supply. Always ensure that the operating
control knob is on the "O" position. Switch on the appliance by pressing the espresso On/Off button. The yellow indicator light will be illuminated indicating that the machine is in heating mode. Wait until the ready indicator light (green) is illuminated to show that preheat is finished.
How to Make Espresso Coffee
1. Remove the espresso funnel by turning it in clockwise direction.
Put the cup filter into the espresso funnel and add ground coffee with measuring spoon, then press the coffee powder tightly with tamper. A spoon of coffee powder can make a cup of coffee.
2. Always ensure that the funnel tube is aligned with the groove.
Insert the espresso funnel into the appliance from the "INSERT" and turn it anti-clockwise direction (with indication of “lock”) until it is lock into position.
3. Place a cup on the removable shelf and switch the appliance by
pressing the On/Off button. The red indicator light will be illuminated. Wait until the green indicator light is illuminated and then rotate the operating knob to “ ” position, the coffee will flow out.
4. Turn the operating knob to the "O" position when desired
coffee is obtained.
5. After finishing making the coffee, remove the funnel by turning
it clockwise, then pour the coffee residue out and wash the filter.
How to Make Cappuccino
1. Prepare an espresso in accordance to “How to Make Espresso
Coffee”. Make sure that the steam control knob is in "O"
position.
2. Press button and wait until green indicator light is
illuminated.
3. Fill a jug which should not be less than 70mm in diameter with
100 grams of milk for each cup of cappuccino. It is recommended to use cold milk. (Note: Milk will increase 2 times in volume)
4. Insert the steam outlet about 2cm into the milk.
5. Rotate the operating knob to " " position. Steam will come
out from the steam outlet. Slowly froth the milk in a circular motion from up to down.
6. Note: Do not turn the steam control knob rapidly as the steam
will accumulate rapidly which may increase the explosion risk.
7. Turn the operating knob to the "O" position when the required
volume is reached.
8. Pour the frothed milk onto the espresso and sweeten the
cappuccino according to your personal taste.
9. Switch off the appliance by pressing the espresso On/Off button
once.
10. It is advisable to allow the appliance to cool down for about 10
minutes after any brewing process before making another coffee.
Producing Steam to Heat Liquids or Beverage
1. Press On/Off button, the yellow indicator light will be
illuminated. Press " " button and wait until green indicator light is illuminated to show the preheat is finished.
2. Insert the steam outlet about 2cm into the liquid.
3. Rotate the operating knob to " " position. Steam will come
out from the steam outlet.
4. When the required temperature is reached, turn the operating
knob to "O" position.
5. Switch off the appliance by pressing the espresso On/Off button
once.
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
cleaning.
2. Clean housing of coffee machine with a damp cloth, clean the
water tank, drip tray and removable shelf regularly then dry thoroughly.
3. Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse
the appliance completely in water or any other liquids.
4. Detach the metal funnel by turning it clockwise and get rid of
coffee residue inside, before cleaning it with cleanser and rinse with clear water.
Decalcifying
1. Clean the coffee maker regularly.
2. To clean the mineral deposits after making an espresso coffee:
Operate the appliance as described in “Pre-heating” by using ordinary vinegar or citric acid (without coffee) to fill the water tank.
3. After descaling, repeat the steps with only water to rinse away
the vinegar and scale remainders.

The coffee powder is stored in a hot, wet place for a long time. The coffee powder turns bad.
Please use fresh coffee powder, or store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
The coffee maker cannot work any more.
The power outlet is not plugged well.
Plug the power cord into a wall outlet correctly, if the appliance still does not work, please contact the authorized service facility for repairing.
The steam cannot froth.
The ready indicator is not illuminated.
Only after the ready indicator is illuminated, the steam can be used to froth.
The container is too big or the shape does not fit.
Use a high and narrow cup.
You have used skimmed milk
