Using Your Sound Station
The Easi-Speak™ connects to the S ound Station via the
headphone outpu t socket. With the USB ca p in place,
turn the Easi-Spea k
™
until the headphone s ocket faces
the jack plug on the Soun d Station and push it into
place. Turn the Sound Station o n and press the
Easi-Speak
™
play button, the n adjust the Sound Station
volume control to the des ired level. It may be neces sary
to increase the Easi -Speak
™
volume, before doc king, to
achieve the best re sults (the volume control s are not
accessible once th e Easi-Speak
™
is docked).
Power LED
The power LED is illumina ted whenever the Sound
Station is turned on. W hen not in use, turn your So und
Station off by rotati ng the volume switch until you hea r
a “click” and the red power light tu rns off.
Charging the Battery
Sound Station is sup plied with a partially charg ed
battery and c an be used immediately w ithout charging
first. The bat tery can be charge d by connecting the
external power su pply to the power input.
• Even when the batte ry is fully discharged , Sound
Station will operate nor mally when the external
power supply is conn ected. The batte ry will also be
charging at this time.
