How to Play:
Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
Slide the Selector switch to choose between GAME 1 (ABCs) and
GAME 2 (123s).
Then, press one of the Answer buttons to choose a difficulty level
(1 or 2) and start the game.
GAME 1— ABCs
This game is great for reinforcing alphabet skills. Start with Level 1 for
upper- and lowercase matching fun! Then, try Level 2—a great way to
practice alphabet sequencing.
Level 1
The main display will show a letter of the alphabet (uppercase or
lowercase). Find the letter that matches it in one of the two answer
screens and press the button next to that screen.
For example, if the screen shows an uppercase letter B, look at the
two answer screens and find the one that shows the lowercase letter
b. Press the button to the left of that screen to select the correct
answer. Think fast! You have 60 seconds to get as many correct
answers as possible.

Level 2
The main display will show a sequence of letters, with one missing
letter. Find the letter that is missing in one of the two answer screens
and press the button next to that screen.
For example, if the screen shows a sequence of the letters B C D _ ,
look at the two answer screens and find the one that shows the
letter E. Press the button to the left of that screen to select the
correct answer. As in Level 1, you have 60 seconds to
get as many correct answers as possible.
GAME 2— 123s
This game is perfect for reinforcing basic number and counting skills.
Level 1 offers counting practice. Level 2 features sequencing of
numbers 1–10.
Level 1
The main display will show a number of dots. Count them up, find
that number in one of the two answer screens and press the button
next to that screen.
For example, if the screen shows a row of dots (• • • •), look at the
two answer screens and find the one that shows the number 4. Press

the button to the left of that screen to select the correct answer. You
have 60 seconds to get as many correct answers as possible.
Level 2
The main display will show a sequence of numbers, with one number
missing. Find the missing number in one of the two answer screens
and press the button next to that screen.
For example, if the screen shows a sequence of the numbers
4 5 6 _, look at the two answer screens and find the one that shows
the number 7. Press the button to the left of that screen to select the
correct answer. As in Level 1, you have 60 seconds to get as many
correct answers as possible.
Scoring
When the time runs out, it’s GAME OVER. The number of correct
answers will be shown on the screen. Keep trying and go for your
high score!
To save battery power, the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card
™
will
power down automatically if there is no activity after 3 minutes.

Battery Information
Installing or Replacing Batteries
WARNING! To avoid battery leakage, please follow these
instructions carefully. Failure to follow these instructions can
result in battery acid leakage that may cause burns, personal
injury, and property damage.
Requires: 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries and a Phillips screwdriver
• Batteries should be installed or replaced by an adult.
• ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card
™
requires (3) three AAA batteries.
• The battery compartment is located on the back of the unit.
• To install batteries, rst undo the screw with a Phillips screwdriver
and remove the battery-compartment door. Install batteries as
indicated inside the compartment.
• Replace compartment door and secure with screw.
Battery Care and Maintenance Tips
• Use (3) three AAA batteries.
• Be sure to insert batteries correctly (with adult supervision) and
always follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instructions.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not mix new and used batteries.
• Insert battery with the correct polarity. Positive (+) and negative (-)
ends must be inserted in the correct directions as indicated inside
the battery compartment.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Only charge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Always remove weak or dead batteries from the product.
• Remove batteries if product will be stored for an extended period
of time.
• Store at room temperature.
• To clean, wipe the surface of the unit with a dry cloth.
