Important Safety Instructions
1. Before connecting kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (under the kettle and base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
2. In the case of obvious damage to the appli­ance or the cable, consult an electrician.
3. This appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision.
4. Never allow children to use electrical equip­ment without supervision.
5. Avoid contact with steam coming from the spout area when pouring. Also avoid the lid area when refilling.
6. Never use the appliance outside or exposed directly in the environment.
7. The boiler gets hot during use, therefore do not touch the appliance except for the handle.
8. Do not fill above the ‘Max’ mark as water may boil over and potentially splash out.
9. Do not open the lid while water is boiling.
10. Never place the kettle near or on hot plates/gas burners.

11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similar qualified person to avoid hazard.
12. Use only on a dry, anti-slip and level surface.
13. Never place the kettle, cord or plug in any liquid.
14. Never switch the appliance on when its lid is open.
15. Make sure the kettle is switched off before lifting or pouring.
16. Always unplug your kettle when not in use.
17. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
18. Only use this appliance with the stand provided.
19. This appliance is for household and similar applications only, such as farmhouses and bed and breakfast-type environments.
20. If there is no water in the kettle, do not start. Otherwise, the stainless steel chassis will change colour. Repeated dry burning will reduce the life of this kettle.
21. Only suitable for water – never put other liquids in the kettle.
22. Misuse of this appliance can potentially cause injury.
23. CAUTION: The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
24. CAUTION: Do not operate the kettle on an inclined surface. Do not operate the kettle unless the element is fully immersed. Do not move the kettle while it is switched on.
Before Using For The First Time:
Important: Please read the instructions carefully before use.
1. Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of your kettle.
2. Completely unroll the cable.
3. Throw away the first lot of water after boiling.
4. Remove all packing materials and stickers.
Using Your Kettle:
1. This appliance is only suitable for heating and boiling water.
2. Do not use any other liquids. The heating element must be covered with water. Otherwise, there is danger of overheating
3. Should the boil-dry protection operate, allow the kettle to cool down. The appliance will be ready for use once cooled.
4. The water gauge will show how much water there is in the jug.
Boiling Water:
1. Open the lid.
2. Fill the jug.
3. Completely unroll the cable.
4. Put the cordless jug on the base.
5. Insert the main plug into an electrical socket. (Warning: appliance becomes hot during use).
6. Switch on the kettle.
7. The indicator lamp will turn on.
8. When the water boils, the appliance will switch off automatically.
9. Water can be poured out with the lid on.
10. The cordless model can be easily removed from its base.
11. The base remains near the socket. After use, the kettle should be replaced on its base at once. It is immediately ready for use again.
12. Heating can be stopped at any time by operating the ‘On/Off’ switch.

Cleaning And Care
1. Before cleaning, first unplug the appliance.
2. Allow it to cool down.
3. Wipe inside and out with a soft cloth.
4. Descale your kettle weekly.
5. Cover the heating elements with vinegar and water (2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar).
6. Boil the solution two or three times.
7. Rinse out the appliance and wipe with a soft cloth.
Disposal information
1. At the end of its working life, the appliance must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a local authority differentiated waste collection centre, or to a dealer providing this service.
2. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative conse­quences for the environment. It also allows constituent materials to be recovered which obtain significant savings in energy and resources.

Our 12 month Guarantee
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
We stand by this product. Therefore we offer a 12 month guarantee on the heating element. The benefits of this guarantee are in addition to any rights and remedies imposed by Australian Consumer Law. Our guarantee excludes normal wear and tear and instances where care and use instructions have not been followed.
What IsAlbi will do:
During this guarantee period IsAlbi will repair, replace or refund any defective product. If identical product is not available for replacement, a similar product may be offered. IsAlbi asks you to cover the cost of postage/transit if the product needs to be sent back to us for inspection. If IsAlbi deems the product is defective, we will reimburse your postage/transit expenses. IsAlbi will be responsible for the postage/transit of the repaired/replacement product back to you.

What to do:
If a fault/defect is identified cease using the product immediately. To make a claim on this guarantee, take the product, proof of purchase and full details of the alleged defect to the retailer from whom the product was purchased.
