Installation Instructions for
Tessa 6 and 8 Light Suspension

GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION
This product is suitable for damp locations.
This product can be dimmed with a standard incandescent.
CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE
This product must be installed in accordance with
the applicable installation code by a person familiar
with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved.
Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

Install the Mounting Plate

Separate the mounting plate from the canopy by
removing all four screws.

Secure the mounting plate to the electrical box with the
two #8-32 screws provided.

Remove the mounting plate from the canopy.

Assemble the Fixture

Verify that the mounting plate is level before continuing.

Line up an anchor tip with the center of a mounting
plate hole, and push the anchor into the ceiling up to
the threads.

Screw the anchors in the rest of the way with a Phillipshead screwdriver.

For full extension, screw a long stem onto each top stem
section.
Repeat steps 5-6 for the other anchor.

Slide a #8 screw through a washer and screw it into an
anchor.

Repeat for the other anchor to secure the mounting
plate to the ceiling.

Feed the upper stem (or stem assembly) through the
holes on the canopy.

Feed the power cables from the fixture completely
through the stems.

Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance
with local electrical codes.

Connect the black fixture wire(s) to the hot power line
wire with a wire nut.
Connect the white fixture wire(s) to the neutral power

line wire with a wire nut.

Screw the stems tightly onto the fixture.

Place all wire and wire nut connections inside the
canopy.

Align the canopy holes with the crossbar holes. Secure
the canopy in place by tightening the four screws.

Install the Lamps

SOCKET
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of a burn or electric
shock during relamping, disconnect the power to
the fixture.
Use medium base lamps.MAX 75 Watt
Versions with glass shades include S-21 Squirrel
Cage type S-21 medium base lamps.
or other style type A1975 Watt
medium base lamps.
Versions without glass shades include Soft White
type A19 medium base lamps.

SHADE
Gently place a shade over each lamp.

Screw the lamp into the socket.
