GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION
This product is suitable for wet locations.
This product can be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer.
This instruction shows a typical installation.
CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE
This product must be installed in accordance with
the applicable installation code by a person familiar
with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved.
Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

CROSSBAR
ASSEMBLY
Mount the crossbar assembly to the electrical box holes with
the two #8-32 screws provided.

While holding the glass shield, unscrew and remove the two
#8-32 screws, the glass shield bracket and glass shield from the
mounting plate.

Install the Lamp and Shade

In accordance with local electrical codes, make sure that the

crossbar is grounded.

Connect the fixture white wire to the neutral power line wire
with a wire nut.

Connect the fixture black wire to the hot power line wire with
a wire nut.

NOTE:Use only your fingers and a soft cloth to install
the lamp.
Use WattTypeMAX 100
T3-118mm, Double End Halogen Lamp.

Place one end of the lamp onto one socket pin, while pushing
the lamp against that socket pin slide the other end onto the
other socket pin.

Place all wires and wire nut connections properly inside the
electrical box.

Level the mounting plate vertically and slide the center hole
completely onto the exposed threaded nipple.

Secure the mounting plate to the threaded nipple with lock
washer and nut.

Replace the glass shield onto the lower glass shield bracket.

Replace the top glass shield bracket onto the glass shield.

Replace and tighten the two #8-32 screws to secure the glass
shield in place.

Slide the mesh screen cutouts onto the threaded nipples and

tighten the caps to secure the screen in place.

Place the reflector holes onto the exposed threaded nipples
and secure it in place with the caps (Do Not Completely
Tighten the Caps).

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Lighting lamp shield and never place flammable material close to
your fixture.
– Never turn the fixture on and off by connecting and
disconnecting the halogen lamp.
– Do not touch the fixture shades or lamp shield while the fixture
is on.These surfaces may be HOT.
Halogen Lamp General Information
– A new halogen lamp may smoke slightly when it is used for the
first time.This is perfectly normal; the protective coating is simply
being vaporized.

TwoTips For Prolonging Halogen
Lamp Life
– First avoid touching the lamp with bare hands during installation.
Any contaminant, even the oil from your hands can deteriorate
the lamp. Rubbing alcohol can be used to remove any
contaminant.
– Second, do not run the lamps at full power when you do not need
to. However, if dimming the fixture for an extended period of
time, occasionally bring the light up to full brightness for a few
minutes to complete the halogen cycle.
