GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION
This product can mount to either a 4" square electrical box with round plaster ring or an octagon electrical box.
This product is suitable for damp locations.
This product can be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer.
CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE
This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

Install the Fixture

CROSSBAR ASSEMBLY

Mount the crossbar assembly to the electrical box holes with the two #8-32 screws provided.

Connect the crossbar to a suitable ground according to local electrical codes.

Connect one fixture wire to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.

Connect the other fixture wire to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.

Place all wires and wire nut connections properly inside the electrical box.
Level the mounting plate vertically and slide the center hole

completely onto the exposed threaded nipple.

NOTE:Use only your fingers and a soft cloth to install
the lamp.
Use WattType T3

Secure the mounting plate to the threaded nipple with lock washer and nut.

Place the eccentric washer onto the bottom socket, with the flat edge of the washer facing the mounting plate.
Note: The washer is not needed if mounting horizontally.

Insert one end of the lamp into the bottom socket and push it down to compress the spring slightly.
Line up the top of the lamp with the top socket and gently

Push the lamp shield clips onto the sockets.

Place the reflector holes onto the exposed threaded nipples and secure it in place with the caps (Do Not Completely
Tighten the Caps).

Slide the mesh screen cutouts onto the threaded nipples and tighten the caps to secure the screen in place.

For the tamper resistant models, tighten the M3 set screws on

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Halogen Lamp General Information
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, exposure to
excessive UV radiation, or injury to person:
– Do not look directly at the lighted lamp.
– Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.
– Risk of fire: Use only the type of lamp and maximum
wattage indicated in this instruction manual.
– Never cover the halogen lamp with anything other than an
LBL Lighting lamp shield and never place flammable material close to your fixture.
– Do not touch the fixture shades or lamp shield while the
fixture is on.These surfaces may be HOT.
– To avoid glare in child's eyes, hang the fixture at least 18”
above a table.
– It is normal for a new halogen lamp to smoke slightly
on first use.The protective coating is being vaporized.
Prolonging Halogen Lamp Life
– Do not touch the lamp with bare hands.Any contaminant,
even the oil from your hands can deteriorate the lamp. Handle the lamp with a soft, clean cloth. Rubbing alcohol can be used to remove any contaminant from the lamp.
– Do not run the lamps at full power when you do
not need to. However, if dimming the fixture for an extended period of time, occasionally bring the light up to full brightness for a few minutes to complete the halogen cycle.
