WELCOME

Just in case you are not familiar with us, our company began

as a family business in 1932 as Chicago Combustion

Corporation. The founder, Louis McGlaughlin, introduced

the first gas-fired broiler at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York.

These first commercial units added a unique charcoal flavor

to restaurant cooking and became the platform for the outdoor

gas-fired barbecue grill.

Louis’ son, Don, Sr., pioneered the outdoor gas-fired grill design

in 1954. He was the first to adapt the use of a plumber’s 20 lb.

propane cylinder to an outdoor gas-fired barbecue. The first

portable and stationary gas barbecues for outdoor residential

use were made by the Chicago Combustion Corporation in

1955 and 1956. In the sixties, sales of outdoor gas barbecues

took off in a big way. During this expansion period, the

company was producing as many as 35,000 gas barbeques

per year at the factory in Belvidere, New Jersey. Eventually,

the company name was changed to LazyMan, Inc., now

considered to be the inventors and originators of the gas fired

outdoor barbeque.

With more than 80 years of experience and three generations

of family ownership, the company has continued to innovate.

State of the art grilling components have continuously been

developed to manufacture gas barbecues that could withstand

the increasing demand for hot and even cooking, and at the

same time, endure the rigors of the outdoor environment. The

burners were built from the lineage of burner technology which

originally formed the basis of the Chicago Combustion

Company. It has always been our number one goal to

manufacture gas-fired barbecues that would stand the test

of time and set us apart from the competition. LazyMan is the

This dual grill combination (LM210-403028M) is a good example of
the extent that LazyMan Inc. can extend their design and
manufacturing capabilities. The combination of grills and side
burners into a single structural unit can literally result in endless
combinations to meet your back yard requirements. While we try to

This grill boasts a powerful, 40”, 48,000 BTU grill on the left, a 30”,
24,000 BTU dual power side burner in the center, and a 28”, 36,000
BTU grill on the right.

LazyMan ‘Flavor Enhancers’ represent a unique series
of stainless steel plates placed on top of each
burner of all 210 Series grills. Their venting system
allows burner flames to pass through the plates and
at the same time catch grease and drippings coming
from the meats being cooked. This grease splatters
back up into the meat adding additional flavor and
juiciness to the meat. You can taste the difference!

MASTERPIECE BUILT-IN GRILLS

The LM210 Series Masterpiece Built-in Grills come in 2 basic sizes:

28” and 40” widths. These grills can be ordered without a hood, with a
standard hood, or with a roll-top hood. The roll-top hood is used when
there is limited clearance between the back of the grill and the back-drop of
the island. The roll-top hood is pictured to the left. The standard hood is
pictured on the previous page and comes standard on the Mobile Series
freestanding grills. Grills ordered without a hood come with a heavy duty
stainless steel weather cover.

The LM210 Series Masterpiece Built-in Side Burners also come

in single and double burner units. These burners come complete with
a heavy duty stainless steel weather cover.

LM210 Series Masterpiece Insulation Panels allow for the barbecue
unit to be installed into a wood or otherwise combustible outdoor
structure. Sizes are available for all LM210 Series sizes and
combinations. The island cut-out sizes INCREASE to allow for the

The Lazy Man Model A Series Barbecues are commercial level and are designed to
give you complete cooking control. All Model A Series Open Hearth Gas Grills have
Stainless Steel Type 304 construction chassis, insert pan, drip pan and cooking
grates. Models feature two burners per section at 20,000 BTU’s per burner and are
available in sizes from 17” to 68” long. These grills use natural lava rock and
are completely assembled. Optional stainless steel weather cover available.

The A1TS through A4TS Series Open Hearth grills have been designed for built-in
outdoor installations in masonry or other non- combustible materials. These grills are
not intended to be mounted in wood or any other combustible materials, nor are they
meant to be surface mounted.

The A1TS/SS through A4TS/SS Series Open Hearth grills have been designed for
surface mount applications onto non-combustible materials such as masonry, brick,
stone, and cement. All sides and rear are finished with eye-pleasing brushed
stainless steel. While these grills are meant to be surface mounted, they can also
be used as a built-in.

All Model A Series barbecues can also be ordered with a 60,000 BTU side
burner attached to the left side of the main grill. These are ordered by adding /60
to the end of the model number. Example: A3TS/P+BIG-60-U. This model is shown
below. Optional hoods are also available for all Model A Series grills and are
available in full length or partial lengths by section (1 through 4). Please add the

Installation Method #1 for the Open Hearth Series grills uses a rear gas pipe exit point into the masonry island. The
masonry should be laid so that there is a horizontal notch running from front to back on the gas side, and partially back
on the non-gas side. This product is shipped with the gas side on the left and the ‘stubbed’ side on the right. This notch
should measure 1-1/2” wide by 3-1/2” high and be located at the bottom of the main cutout. On the ‘stubbed’ side of
the gas line, the notch needs only to be 2” back from the front. Reverse the notches and hole location if it is desired to
change the gas input line from the left side to the right side. With this installation method, the grill is inserted into place
from the FRONT. After the grill is in place and connected, the front portion of the notch can be covered with cover
stones as shown in the above diagram.

The Elite Series Grills are built entirely of heavy duty, stainless Steel Type
304 material providing a lifetime of worry free cooking. These grills all
feature heavy duty construction and chassis, insert pans, drip pans,
burners, cooking grates, side shelves, lower storage shelf, a mobile base,
heavy duty wheels, and natural lava rock. Ships completely assembled and
ready for use. Hose and regulator are included.

The Elite Series Grills feature a burner delivery system capable of
delivering fast, high heat cooking results. These grills feature
independently controlled heat zones using lava rock to create the
ultimate in barbecue flavor. Each burner boasts a very generous 20,000
BTU heat rating.

The internal firebox is designed to route excess grease and marinades
through stainless steel burner pans and into a separate drip tray.
Optional hoods are available for all size Elite grills and are available in full
length or partial lengths by section (1 through 4). Complete rotisserie
systems are also available. Please add the following suffixes to the part
number when ordering:

BIG 60 AND CHEF’S MATE

UTILITY STOVES

The Big 60 Series represents the ULTIMATE in the line of outdoor cooking stoves. Each model uses a HUGE 60,000 BTU burner(s)
creating the ultimate in power burner performance while enabling infinite adjustment of the burner. This is accomplished by the
3-ring design of the burner. Each ring can be turned on separately or turned on all together while still being able to adjust the
height of the flame with the control knob. The end result is infinite power and adjustability. The Big 60 Series is available in both
single burner and double burner construction, and available in stainless steel or durable black powder coat finish.

The Chef’s Mate Series represents a more economical line of outdoor cooking stoves and uses an 18,000 BTU single ring burner
with full adjustability. This ‘work horse’ of a cooking stove can still deliver fast, high temperature cooking while taking it easy on
your pocketbook. The Chef’s Mate Series is also available in a single burner or double burner design and comes in a durable black
powder coat finish.

• Triple control utility stove has 3-ring cast iron burners.

INTRODUCING THE MALIBU GRILL - THE LATEST IN THE LINE OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS FROM LAZYMAN

The “Malibu” grill series is the latest product offering from LazyMan and carries on the 80 year old tradition that LazyMan has
been known for: forever lasting quality, life-long endurance, and beauty. The product series consists of the 30” grill, both
built-in and freestanding, the 42” grill, both built-in and freestanding, and matching doors and drawer combinations.

• All freestanding models come with a built-in trash bag
holder at the tip of the left side shelf.

• All freestanding models come with heavy duty, 3”
industrial swivel casters. The front casters are locking for
maximum stability.

Some of the features of the Malibu Freestanding
grill are as follows:

• All freestanding models, for LP applications, come with a
built-in sliding tank tray using heavy duty ball bearing
slides. This allows for easy access to the propane tank and
minimizes the need to ‘angle and tilt’ the tank during the
removal and exchange process.

• All freestanding models come with extra-large, folding side
shelves for easy storage.

• All freestanding models are equipped with an internal
storage shelf to conveniently store extra items such as

cooking utensils, spices, and the rotisserie motor.

Some of the key features of the Malibu grill are as
follows:

• Made entirely from heavy duty 304 stainless steel with
both a beautiful #4 brushed finish and a #8 chrome-like
finish for the front panel. All fasteners used on the grill are
also stainless.

• Powerful and new-to-the-market, 14GA stainless steel
H-Burners deliver lasting performance with a rating of
25,000 BTU’s each.

• All freestanding models come with a built-in paper towel
holder under the right side shelf.

• Grills are manufactured using all welded construction. This
means that all seams are ‘sealed’ which eliminates the
chances of ‘seepage’ of grease and marinades into the grill
body.

• 9 Volt, sealed operating system allows for reliable ignition
year after year.

• Hood light comes standard with all grills and uses an
extra-bright 10W Halogen light.

More of the key features of the Malibu Grill:

• All ‘finished’ surfaces including the main hood, the rear
hood, and the bullnose assembly are manufactured with
‘seamless’ welded construction with polished highlights,
creating a beautiful end result.

• Individual, grounded electronic igniters are used for each
burner. Push in on the desired control knob and that
burner lights.

• Hood thermometer comes standard with all grills to
measure the inside grill temperature. This allows you to
preheat and add your food product just at the right
moment for perfect cooking.

• Tilt-up rear warming rack allows you to lift up, slide over,
and move out of the way when you need a little more

room for flipping your burgers.

• Stainless steel, heavy duty cooking grates- for when the
grilling gets large and heavy.

• Optional rotisserie system includes a rear 15,000 BTU
infra-red burner, heavy duty stainless spit rod, spit forks,
and a quiet rotisserie motor.

• Optional, adjustable,
23,000 BTU infra-red main
sear burner for high
temperature cooking.

Model LM-VC

The Island Vent Cover is designed to allow the
exact venting size for built-in grill island
applications. This vent cover uses the same,
beautiful, brushed stainless material as all other
LazyMan grills and accessories. Proper venting
requires (3) vents 10” x 10” or 100 sq, in. each to
be placed on both sides and back of the
Bar-B-Que island.

Stainless Steel Island Tank Tray
Model LM-ITT

The Island Tank Tray provides a convenient
method of handling the propane tank cylinder for
island LP applications. Made from brushed
stainless steel, this tank tray allows easy sliding in
and out of the propane tank through an opening cut
in the island. This opening is commonly bordered
by and either one of the LazyMan double access
door models. Please note that the door frame
opening must be level with the island bottom
surface. This tray is equipped with heavy duty
outdoor rated drawer slides.
